this might be an unpopular opinion, but as for now, this episode hits so god damn hard, i cant explain the way how stark's brother treat him, us thinking at first that he might be harsh on stark, but god damnit until the very end he just wanted his brother to be treated equally as how he did. its phenomenal.

| Frieren's jumping out of bed was quite cute. Also, I thought it was very interesting how Himmel, who eventually did become the true hero and slew the Demon King, couldn't take out the Hero's Sword. I think it's a clever take on the trope, asking the question of whether it is the sword that makes the hero or the hero that makes the sword. After all, he slew the Demon King with his "fake" Hero's Sword. |

| Despite having ep13 I felt this episode was more impactful so prefer to discuss this, that is to say, I have caught up with the anime quite sadely, so I might really need to read the manga... Stark got a ton of development on this episode, I was not expecting the feels. It was adorable to see Fern worried about him, as expected, the development of the relationship between both will be adorable to see, it is subtle but enough to leave me feeling warm and fluffy inside. But then again this episode destroys one's heart, was he really a coward? He did what he brother told him because his brother wanted him to live, that was a surprise hit, and I was honestly expecting the brother to be a dick so I ended up feeling quite a lot from this episode alone. To end on a lighter note, it was quite funny to see Frieren choosing a gift like that, she honestly feels like a old pervert sometimes, that smug face was great and now I see why it became such a meme, Fern reaction to that was also funny to see. The scene where Stark gets his brother’s robe dirty was brilliant. It was indeed so well directed, I was feeling some anxiety there, imagining the cliche shit and I felt so guilty and relieved to see his brother acting like a brother, which only makes you more sad by the end of the episode. People that don't watch this anime and only shit on it based on what they hear others saying or screenshots will never understand, once you slowly give your time to this anime, and see it flow, you slowly get captured and tremble at all the fine details the director and staff are putting in the anime, nothing feeling lazy. It is just a superb experience, I feel so tempted to go read the manga now, even though I know it wont have the same impact of the anime, I feel worried it will spoil my experience with the anime. But then I recall Mushoku Tensei S1 and despite knowing the LN, how great it was to see it portrayed, so I m putting my hopes that if in the future I know the source material, I will ONLY appreciate the anime even more... I feel aversed to do so, but if I had to score the anime right now, up to ep12 (I feel ep13 was good but not that good), I would rate it a 10/10, it just keeps hitting nonstop, episode 13 was much lighter, but most episodes don't give you a break, you will feel something along the way, even if you want to remain stoic about it. This anime likes to abuse one's heart and show no mercy doing it, LOVE IT. | There were so many things Stark never knew about his master, but the more he learns, the more emotional he gets, because he's realizing that he's not as weak and useless as he thought he was. The scene with the hamburg steak was rather emotional. |

| Oh shit Stark holding such a story behind and its sure hits hard with all the connection, thanks to the clothing dissolves potion Fern threw on her xd. Himmel sword story also interesting as well. No need a real sword. Because Himmel already have a great source of power, which is the one and only slayer, Frieren the Slayer. But this is open up a lot of possibilities about the fate of those poor sword. So let's just see if the story just decide to ditch it or there's some true meaning of this section of story. Beside that, looks like adorable stern Fern found out her signature word: perv. |
