| Come on, Shinji. You saw a giant beam of light and a new form coming from Bambietta, be a little more cautious and not get knocked down immediately. Never really cared much about Komamura, so this didn't excited me in the slightest. Maybe if they put a little more time and effort in his backstory I would have cared. Also the way they handle Ichigo's path/training arc feels so much like Son Goku in DBZ, always teasing with after credit scenes. It kinda looked like this will be a deus ex machina rescue when a hope is lost... But still, the last shot looks amazing:  |
| Decent episode. The CGI wasn't terrible but also wasn't great. Not entirely sure why CGI was even needed when Komamura's bankai was always drawn in the original anime. I like how detailed some of the shots are and the VFX for reishi look great. The red sky continues to be jarring. Sometimes it works, but often times it looks unfinished. It would be cool if the red sky was translucent and you could see the clouds behind it. In the manga, you could see clouds through the quincy's barrier, so it's unfortunate that's not the case here. The shot of Yhwach observing Komamura's bankai standing in the rubble from afar was beautiful, probably the best shot of the episode. Another great shot was the title card, framed above Iba carrying Komamura. I like that the anime is fleshing out Ichigo's connection with the soul king too. We didn't get anything like this in the manga. |

| Komamura's new Bankai was amazing! And one of the best parts about this adaptation is how they use CGI to highlight things that are not natural. From the eerie Hollows to Yama's army of spooky skeletons and even the mysterious Dangai Jouoe, they all feel otherworldly and strange |
| Nice to see Komamura's enhanced Bankai. I think the use of 3dcg with it was done right. Then, Ichigo seeing visions related to the Soul King continued until he reached to where Senjumaru is waiting. Now what kind of training will he undergo? Hyped for the next episode for the battle between Mask de Masculine vs Rose and Kensei. |

| This cour so far feels just a lot flatter than the previous cour, this episode along with the others just haven't managed to hit the same notes that at least a decent chunk of cour 1 did besides maybe the first one. Didn't feel much watching Komuamura and the general action in this episode much. |

| Oh man, Komamura was a great guy througout the anime, although sometimes he had anger issues. It is sad to see a captain dying. The animation for the fight was gorgeous and I loved seeing Bamietta getting a humble sandwich. |

| I voted OK, actually I kind of disliked the episode. The fight was sloppy and Bambietta seems a powerless idiot here. I remember this fight in the manga with a completely different pace, it was really cool, there. |
| 3/5 Shinji vs. Bambi was as awful As Kenpachi vs. Unohana. Epic guys losing randomly to a weak medic and an experienced bratty chick is awful writing only expected of new western shows and brings down the new seasons compared to the original. Also the music in general (OP, ED, mid-episode themes) are much inferior to the original. The new seasons are better than I thought, but certain key moments hurt them, such as Yamamoto vs. Yhwach, trampling on Genryuusai and retconning Story lore |

| Yup the stuff with Sajin was just as dumb and random as it was in the manga. The CGI for his bankai was really bad too. It's really weird cause not only did they 2d animate in the original series but it doesn't even have complex movements or anything. |
