| Didn't expect much. Still not expecting much. Episode 1 wasn't bad in my opinion; but it wasn't particularly good either. The game was a masterpiece; I guess an anime will never live up to it. Adapting it almost 1:1 was never going to be a good idea in my opinion because you'll have to cut out most of the action in between and as a result make the entire thing feel rushed. But then again, how can else can they adapt it? If we take a look at Cyberpunk edgerunners, it was an adaption using the game world to tell a new story rather than adapting the game's story itself; as a result it has a lot of creative freedom. This scenario does not apply to Nier if you want to tell the same story. So perhaps this is indeed the best (minus the CGI, that can be improved) we can get out of a nier anime. |

| I liked this better that I'd expected. I don't play games so needless to say I have next to no knowledge about this one and went in blind, not having high hopes. But the setting turned out interesting, the characters likeable and the animation pretty great. |

| I didn't play the game before so it's a discovery for me and so far I would say it's a nice introduction to its world building and what can happen against the opponents, the production looks decent. Also that muppet show ending is silly but good xD |

| Just found this out, the game did very well on the cutscenes and I don't find the anime is any better, with even worst looking CGI than the game. Also cut out details and skips is like this series is trying for a quick recap. There are however new details that are not be seen before so that's interesting. 1.1a might twist and show addition scenes that is not in the game. |

| TBH, I didn't play the game, I just know Nier from watch others play (just parts of the game) and the fact that 2B is popular like a trope that's used everywhere cause she's "sexy". ___ ___ ___ I am just gonna watch this series as is, since I am not a fan of the series to begin with (or knows the whole story, lol) ___ ___ ___ LOL @ the end credit, they actually addressed ppls that was wondering what ending they're going to be using. Also, the stick-puppet 2B at the end is so cute, I kinda want one. (also, RIP 9S) (couldn't just upload both memory at same time eh?) |

| Got to say it was a bit weird watching it without the gameplay parts. There were moments where I was sure the gameplay should begin, but then I realized that it was just an Anime. Anyway great fateful adaption so far. Was nice to see both routes in a single episodes. The animation was top notch, same great OST, and 2B was hot as ever (can't wait for A2 as well). This actually made me want to replay the game once again. |

| I think it is hard translating a game to a show or movie. So it's kind of what I expected. 2b's voice is so cute. I only ever played the game in English, so I'd never heard what her Japanese voice sounded like till now. |

| I was about to stop watching because of how bad the animation (when getting on their ships) and their faces looked in moments that were supposed to be emotional, but Im glad I watched the next episode, such a masterpiece for me, from beginning to end. |
| I haven't played the game so this is all new to me and I'm currently confused about what is currently happening. I hope we get more explanation of this current world next episode. |
