| That was so cute and fluffy, I loved that premiere. I can already tell that Mitsumi's gonna be a great mc and Shima's going to be a good boy. P.A. Works is absolutely not missing right now. I love me some slice of life and I heard this is one of the best, so I am looking forward for more. |

| Moving to the big city from the countrysides going to be one hell of a culture shock. Pretty catchy OP. Man her hometown sure had pretty bad transport links though. Changing trains is the par the course for any city. Mitsumi though doesn't lack in aspirations though. The mad rush to school scene though was well done and must have been hard for the seiyuu's. The puke sure ended up wiping out the praise that she got for the speech. The poor teacher though, thats one hell of a laundry bill she's got to pay. Still despite that her first day turned out surprisingly well. Mitsu's nerves really are tiring her out thats for sure. Overall a pretty fun opening ep but already loving the chemistry between Mitsu and Shima. Curious to see what the other characters would be like. |

| Quite the start, refreshing, genuine, feels good anime with strong characters and a pretty nice atmosphere, I also like how it looks. The best anime of the season so far. I liked so much I might even jump to the manga right away 4/5. |

| The animation style is interesting, I enjoyed it! Also I loved both of the characters and the ducks were cute uwu I can't wait for the next episode, the main character is very relatable sometimes already, which makes it even funnier xp |

| So many little details that bring every scene to life. Like that random classmate blushing to the homeroom teacher. I appreciate all these small details from the way she holds her phone, to the cheeky way Sousuke’s friend spoke to the teacher in the washroom, her animated mannerisms, Sousuke’s subtle actions, omg, these may be small details but they make the anime so lively & immersive, especially for a slice-of-life which can fall flat so easily. So charming, I can tell this is going to be good! I already felt emotional watching this first episode. I love coming-of-age stories!!♡ |

| I really love Skip to Loafer and I'm glad that it received an adaptation! This definitely will be up there on my top anime this season. Mitsumi and our golden retriever Shima are both adorable! I can't wait to see their wholesome interactions and the group itself. I hope many people will come to love this show as much as I do and read the manga. ♡ |

| This feels like a really old-fashioned shoujo manga brought to animation, but I see the manga is just over 4 years old, so actually it's kind of recent. Maybe it's the animation style that feels old-fashioned. I love it! It's sweet. It's romantic. It's innocent and wholesome. Can't wait to see more! |
| I love the interaction between Mitsumi and Sousuke in the train station, especially when their running scene the effort of work from VA, Soundtrack, Animation was amazing. I can't wait for next episode. Beside the interaction with main character, the side was really good too. From Hometown Best Friend Fumi to New Friend (?) Mika Also, The joke was landed so good and well directed that I always laughing out of it. The Highlight which it Mitsumi Puke on homeroom teacher and Mitsumi can't sleep because too cautious about planning relationship in school. This was a wholesome anime, I definietly gonna wait for next week. |

| This first episode was so fun and wholesome! Enjoyed every second of it. Our main girl and guy are both super likable and have already great chemistry together, can't wait to see threir interactions more! The way they portrayed Mitsumi as a lost small chick that got attached to Shima was so cute and funny! Really like the timing all the interactions had, and the voice acting is incredible so far! They sound so natural and real and I love it. We already see a girl only being nice to her bc she is becoming friends with Shima and can't wait to see how our naive Mitsumi is going to deal with all this in the future. I feel like she's gonna have a cold wake up call at some point that not all are nice people, but I hope this will still stay quite light hearted and wholesome all the way. Super strong first episode for me and I'm so excited for what's to come! |

| everything about this was so cute!! i don't know a lot about the original source material tbh, so i don't know if it'll stay lighthearted or incorporate more drama later on, but i do really like this cast. iwakura especially feels like a very strong, likable lead to me! (i'm biased, tomoyo kurosawa is one of my faves.) shima is super sweet too. i really like how he has his own group of friends outside of his school, i don't see that a lot. i'm excited to see where this goes! |

| The grace of the dancing during the intro is terribly comfortable in this rich SOL 1st episode put out by PA Works. Goddamn those real-life moments are solid gold. Character design is bold, the stylistic swagger is engaging without being grating/overbearing. Super cool emotional turns, maybe peak seinen. The depth of the chill vibe reminds me of Aquatope. |

| I adore Shima's bright personality and Mitsumi is so wholesome and sometimes painfully relatable. That silence at the end when Nao was staring at Mitsumi's sleepless face had me - even though it's such a simple joke that was already played three times in the episode, the delivery was still just as funny. |

| A very solid first episode overall. Never been a fan of PA Works' stuff too much besides 1-2 shows at best, but given how positively I view the manga, this one should end up being a quality anime as a whole. The voice acting, direction, visuals were all mostly on-point and broughtt the energy that the manga had to the table. |
