As for the event itself... like many likely said before me, the gift giving was much harder than former years because of the added restrictions regarding seasons and the like. I think it'd also be wise that if an extension is necessary for whatever reason, to not leave it up to the voters cause salt will be thrown. Aside from that I quite liked it. There was quite a bit of variety and I especially enjoyed the swap option. Not because I needed it but because I just really like the idea of it. Choice is always good! I think next year there shouldn't be official guessing for rewards because it gets much too competitive. Other than that... thanks for hosting once again, I hope you can take a really long break after this to recover and do some fun non challenge related stuff. So I picked two cours only to try to get myself to watch stuff I normally wouldn't, but I feel like the combination of Sherlock initially losing points and accepting blind recs impacted the quality of my gifts because they were all blind and I ended up only liking one of the four shows I got. I know the swap exists, but I didn't like using it since it felt rude to completely ignore someone's gift they put thought into like that. Getting to choose between one or two cours does feel a bit strange when they give the exact same points in the end, so I would think it incentivizes putting in the minimum effort. Personally I'd prefer not having any extra restrictions for recs, but at least having a choice between a couple of restrictions could have given us a lot more freedom to give something our partner would better enjoy. Item 08 is invalid. Souma Kyou does not count as a Cat for this item. You can replace the Item with another one from the Wraith list and update the number. |
