In a sense, what Dazai gave Chuuya was opposite to what Fyodor suggested for the waitress. He encouraged him to strike out on his own no strings attached rather than threaten his livelihood just to coerce him. |

| That's some hardcore prison but we have Dazai and Fyodor together in it it's sure getting interesting for that, but meanwhile the situation for them is still really tense, gonna get trapped once again I guess |

| Does anyone else sometimes find the comedic element forced and unnecessary? I understand that it's meant to break up the tense atmosphere, but I occasionally find it cringe. (I know humor is subjective, which is why I think the comedy is kind of poorly executed.) Anyway, I like how unpredictable Dazai whereabouts is, and how you'll eventually find him in some place far ahead of everyone else. He always sees things from a different and broader perspective. Im starting to think he may be even better that Rampo. |
