| Years. Literal years of built up hype. Back when the Kenpachi and Unohana thing was revealed in the manga, it was one of the defining moments of the final arc. There were hints from the beginning of the series that implied Unohana's strength, but there weren't enough clues to piece her identity together. At the time of this reveal, there was a huge freak out, and it suddenly made sense why everyone was terrified of Unohana, why Unohana's battle data from chartacter books were insane, or how Yachiru got her name. Seeing their fight animated is surreal. Words can't describe how amazing it was. It feels like I'm back in high school, holy crap. |

| TYBW continues to deliver. Zaraki vs. Unohana was insane, and I'm excited to see how it ends next episode. My prediction is that our favourite healer will die in order to make Kenpachi stronger. |
| I am glad even in the last arc, they added funny scenes, too, not to make it all serious. Eating contest or funny Renji/Ichigo moments never gets old. Since I had seen Hikifune as a slender woman, it made me wonder why she was fat when they introduced her and this ep. made it clear to us. LOL, how much food do you have to make to go so much down? On a different note, I am glad to see Unohana. Although we saw her in the previous ep. where we got to know she was in the original gotei 13, I was hoping for her to be a spy for the quinces. That would be a cool turn of events. When I saw her creepy face online , I thought for sure she was a spy. Oh well, more surprising to see that she was a criminal, aka. Kenpachi too. Daym, she is a crazy killer. I would never imagine that someone would be as strong as Kenpachi except for the head captain, and the last one, I would guess, was Unohana. This is going to be fun. It's going to be interesting to learn more about their past. |

| Unohana and Kenpachi stuff is a bit confusing. So she will fight him and "kill" him so he gets strong enough to fight with the Sternritter? But I don't see why Unohana should die for that, Kyouraku could just stop him from doing that before he gets the chance to. |

Oh dear, finally Zaraki vs Unohana... Unohana might be scary but she still looks beautiful. With that the power of hers who could easily surpass current full power of Zaraki, she could've slayed two or three Sternritters before but too bad that didn't happen because of Kubo tite Yama-jii's order. |

| That was crazy!! So wait Unohana is the first kenpachi!! Damnnnnnnn this is so crazy, and i don't get the ending but seems like Zaraki imagined he died but didn't? Wonder what happened there, this is all sooo good but damnnnn, now I have to wait like the rest, every week for one episode, this is excruciating! |

| This is why I feel like I should go back & watch the earlier stuff again... all of this either confused me or gave me that "is this one of those retconned back stories that was created on the fly?" feelings... Was it ever discussed or implied Unohana was this crazy, bloodthirsty criminal murderer in the past? And if she was so absurdly powerful & has similar criminal past as Kenpachi, why does he get put on a pedastal & not her (along with them not wanting to train Kenpachi further out of fear...)? I'm sure it's just me forgetting things, but it seems a bit silly to suddenly present Kenpachi as this great threat to the Soul Society if Unohana is already that threat, but people were fine with it until now. I love Kenpachi, but it feels like one of those things just be built up to tell us once again how badass he is (only now at the expense of Unohana). Edit: I also don't get why Unohana was told to stay behind during the invasion, especially if she's so insanely powerful. Kenpachi was able to handle many Quincy invaders, even getting complimented for his power. But if Unohana is one of the OG 13 that was so feared, shouldn't she have been used for more than a healer role post-conflict? |

| Old Bleach Comedy is back.. I'm sure missed the vibes. Holy Shit!! Unohana the first "Kenpachi"??? So that's why she always braids her hair like that to hide the scar. Unohana saying Zaraki growing stronger from near death experience just like Saiyan "Zenkai Boost"? Hopefully Epic Sakuga in the next episode ๐ฅ |
