| Amazing episode! I was waiting for Chojiro's flashback, at least he had a little more screentime. That final scene was freaking hype! Kenny beaten down and Yama-jii about to go against Yhwa! Those last lines reminded me... will we be getting "Everything but the rain" this season? I certainly hope so! |

| Yamamoto-jiji the fricking GOAT!! I had goosebumps all over for real! I literally clapped the moment he came and burned the enemy to crisp. Quite tragic though for the Head Captain to witness Sasakibe's bankai in that state after so long, can't imagine the grief he felt within. Kenpachi be clutching for the ace lmao dude beated 3 Sternritter's on an instant and going straight for the leader. I can't wait for the moment when we'll witness his real capabilities. Also, F for our man Byakuya. I'm just so happy waiting for Bleach every week, big thanks to Pierrot for giving this arc justice. Cheers to more GOAT episodes! |
| Fantastic episode. To begin with, As Nodt's voice was absolutely perfect, and 'The Fear' scenes were so well done. Even though I know this arc is supposedly uncensored, I'm surprised they did the zombie Rukia scene. I like the touch of turning the stolen bankai purple. I wonder if that applies to all of them. The Chojiro/Yamamoto backstory scene was excellent as well. A few other good things here and there. For example, we finally found out it was Meninas who defeated Rukia in the first invasion. It's good that the anime is filling in some of these easily overlooked gaps. Very excited for next week! |

| PEAK FICTION PEOPLE, P E A K F I C T I O N!!!!!!!! I NEED BIGGER LETTERS, it's undoubtedly THE BEST episode till now, it completely surpassed the last one which was also incredible, this ep is a COMPLETE MASTER PIECE. Aside that the next episode i believe it's gonna be one of the best episodes in Bleach history. BTW Sad day for Byakuya fans like me but on the other hand finally we got to see the GOAT Zaraki Kenpachi doing a completely BADASS reappearance like he always used to accustom us. The streak continues all episodes 10/10, this one 1000/10, not a single bad episode. Excellent job so far, i couldn't be more proud. |

| This episode really cheered me up especially when I saw Byakuya in despair, it really gave a very gripping atmosphere. Even the coolest thing happened when it was leader vs leader which would be really cool. I can't wait for next week. Really Good episide 5/5 |

| kenpachi is like dont mind me I just need your throat for a second and grabs it lol. Also byakuya was a real sad sight to see. Still a lot fun and tense to watch even tho I read the manga. |

And as far as pacing has gone, episodes 1-3 felt greatly paced imo, while episode 4 was off--but I think it's because compared to ep 2 and 5, it ended pretty fast and kind of just cut off. In a perfect world, episodes 4-5 would've been one big episode instead, but we can't get everything. However, I BET binging this cour would be a lot better. Oh, don't get me wrong, I know it adapted 6 chapters, but considering we were going back and forth last week episode (which wasn't bad, but the recap kinda ruined the momentum and there wasn't much that could be done since the manga was the same way) it felt better this time around. The pacing definitely felt a lot smoother today, and I felt like we received more than just 24minutes of content, which is great. Oh yeah, it's definitely going to feel really great after binging, trust me, I'll do that once my brother feels like it, and we're gonna love it lol. I'd like to believe Pierrot and Kubo did the recap on purpose to deliver us this amazing 5th episode. |
