Everyone is sexist. Anyone denying this is lying. Important thing is to be a decent person. Which a lot of people in this thread are not. How is everyone sexist? That doesn't even make sense. And yeah most people on mal are quite toxic that I can agree with. Which is why I was bashing this thread. How do I take anyones opinion seriously here when literally everyone is arguing for the sake of arguing. You either like the show or you don't who cares. Why make a thread just trying to gather attention. (which yeah I know you made the thread XD) You might say I am arguing to argue but this will be my last post. Have a good day. I wish you the best. |

Everything after that either flopped in the beginning like AGE or was so bad in the end like 00 and IBO, even its own fandom thinks it sucks. There is reason there is like relatively no gundam merchandise outside Gunpla. We will see how this show plays out but I am 90% sure it ain't hitting the ratings of 79 or seed, and won't topple gundam hierachy? Personally any woke yuri-lesbian show is a pass for me and I much rather watch something else. This show is batwoman 2.0. The western gundam fanbase is a cesspool enough, having SJWs in it will ruin the fandom for everyone. Gundam seed good? jesus fxxking yamato lmao 00 is good despite season 2 and trailblazer being bad? IBO is good despite season 2 being bad? All those random aus are good despite having no market demand and fewer kits and no one remembers most of the suits in the show? The "west"'s opinion desptie gundam consistenty ranking last on every single western anime forum and defying viewership and sales numbers Nah im talking about you saying gundam seed(a rip off UC gundam written for children who didn't pay attention to the original gundam) is a good series hell no lol not even close than those series lol yet it is the gundam series with the most kits and evangelion levels of success, and the only one that is getting a sequel. Choose wisely what you support. Must suck sunrise spiting you in the face for the past 20 years. Perhaps choose a different franchise. FYI, almost half of UC (ZZ, victory, narrative) is considered bad. Even 79 was a flop when it released and zeta couldn't match the success of what came before. |

It’s amazing how bent out of shape people will get over something like this. That scene only happened because that was the condition of the match before Suletta took over and as for the same sex relationships, they probably would have eventually showed that when giving background on that society. |

Doesn't mean they appeared that way for everyone. But I did present what I took issue with. At least 2-3 people here were willing to discuss and now I have reached a better understanding and will wait to see before dismissing this anime as woke. That's how discussion ought to work. Not by making up shit. OP troll doesn’t even read the first two pages of comments on his own thread where his ”facts” were literally debunked almost immediately! 1. Not an all-girls school. How in the flying f do you even get that idea when the asshole male is part of the school in the first place. 2. Husband =/= groom/fiancee. Unless this is Witch on Pluto a duel does NOT represent immediate MARRIAGE but an ENGAGEMENT which is still conditional. 3. Ignoring girls who bullied FMC on her first visit and girls who followed asshole male and talked shit. Ignoring the dude with the book who is going to be a more prominent character and by the official site “takes an INTEREST in Suletta.” 4. Imaginary subtitles. Source: bro trust me lmao. Nobody who has actually watched the episode with a brain will parrot your “facts” as actual facts. But let me refresh you on an older comment that literally debunks your “facts” too because you seem to have the attention span of a 5-year old: avos1 said: 1. It's not an all girls school, the MCs are just girls and there are loads of dudes in the backgrounds of shots 2. Not husband, the word used is "groom". The engagement has been transferred as a prize and Miorine (white hair) kind of treats it as such. Like she seems only happy to be away from someone who was possessive and violent and to be attached to someone who is kinder. All that said it is still transactional. She does not get to choose her fate as she is still saddled with being married to someone who won a duel and she acts very matter of factly about the whole ordeal. I imagine in future episodes we are going to see her still being unhappy with being with Suletta for the simple fact that she is forced to be there. So with all that in mind the problem is not who she is engaged to, the issue is that she is forced into an engagement with someone, a factor which is implied to have been setup by her father. So her lack of freedom is the problem. 3. The first antagonist is indeed a man but that's not a lot to go off of. There are also plenty of at this point neutral male characters, namely the two who facilitate the duel. If you want to make the argument that they are antagonists too well there was a woman with them as well so it seems to be that our two main characters are not facing off against a gendered threat but what seems like it will be a class based threat, seeing as the antagonists appear to be other students who have influence over the school because of how their families serve as contributors to the company that runs it. I think seeing it as "women good, men bad" is kinda missing the forest for the trees a bit. Because surface level, yes two women are portrayed as good, while a man is portrayed as bad but that's very surface level of the themes. 4. Couldn't find this anywhere in the episode but I do know that according to all supplementary material Suletta is a girl. "Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world." -gundaminfo official website (link below) So yeah she isn't NB, although I'm not sure how that would be "woke". Now OP you need to stop going on 4chan and trying to emulate low-tier bait threads for the sake of clout. It’s embarrassing and makes you look even more stupid than that other account (assuming it’s not your alt) who thinks he/she’s a genius by throwing the word “scarecrow” at every other argument that pisses on theirs. |

Do you really like seed that much and hey we know those series are bad not just consideredly bad bro seriously. Again the original tv of the gundam is a flop but the kits was a huge success get your facts dude, how many UC anime are there? Too fxxking many . Did i even talk about the sales kits im talking about you saying gundam seed is a good anime? lmao |
