| Depends what do you consider yuri. If you expect a romance between two girls, then it's not. We would have some signs by now. If you think that two girls standing next to eachother is yuri, then yes it is. This is an anime original, so they still might do a 180* turn, but I honestly doubt. |

Ofc it's due to such diferences that it works, seeing men act in a friendly way towards one another that would usually only be seen in a all girls cast is something unusual enough to garner attention towards it and make a decently popular manga, something that wouldn't be possible if it was common as the other person was saying. Well, it's because of this that the male characters in shoujo often act quite gay-ish. Women's authors can't always capture the masculine dynamic quite realistically, especially if they idealize it. | It most likely will be with all the scenes hinting it (bird symbolizing Takina flying towards the tower symbolizing Chisato), and this episode brought us more Takina wanting to get closer to Chisato, with some people of course doing the perfect representation of the meme „Historians say that they were just friends”. Right now it’s still yuri bait with probable innocent love interest from Takina. Chisato ain’t seeing this relation as romantic, but with the story progressing we might see some changes. |
