Unreasonableness (Shirou is not OK, but for some unknown reason it was totally OK in the case of Kiritsugu... yea sure...) plus they are probably the kind of people who don't care about this theme anyway, even if it had been perfect. As Malog says, only if it's edgy they are going to be OK with it. So unless ufo completely changes everything and ignore the source material, it would not work, even with 1:1 copy pasta monologues. That is the nature of AO viewers secondaries, nothing one can do. |

| Well we still got the "reveal" just right before "Answer". Which may shake up a lot of secondaries and even possibly work as an roundabout excuse for that power up in the eyes of some secondaries. |

It needed too be longer and more depth should have been more focused on. Whether it was this episode or last season in particular, Shirou's ideals and past should have been delved into a lot better. |

I was being sarcastic, by the way. To be a little more serious... Well, this is more for Anime vs VN thread so I'll keep it short and spoiler-less. Basically, I'm pretty sure that Miura will try to pad by providing detailed flashbacks for each and every character except Shirou, considering how fast the anime is moving. According to my calculations, with current stuff that remained there are about 2 episodes too many, so according to what we got I wouldn't be surprised if Miura stalls with numerous flashbacks - even if some of them make much more sense to appear in other routes. Because fuck Shirou, everyone else is more important than him. /s After all, we got flashback about Caster's Master, who is insignificant character and even in source is just mentioned in a few lines. Well, maybe there'll be Shirou-only episode... which is weird because if he was dealt with properly, he wouldn't need it at all. Also, don't expect all characters to be fleshed out. |
