Damn, Ena looks great in that wedding dress. Can't believe we actually got a wedding ceremony event this episode between her and Kousuke. The kiss though! That's something even Ena didn't expect.

The Kanade scenes were kinda tough to watch especially after she responded with 'I'm sorry'. Creepy cliffhanger if you ask me.

What school/college, in Japan, lets a trio of suspicious looking people roaming freely the school campus during the school festival, like come on. Some nice Uwedding dresses, Kosuke yelling at a small child ... and the engrish ceremony was funny lol, also nice kiss :)

At the end Kanade being weird, as usually. Can she just suplex people and be happy, like the rest of the gang. Look, the dude is psycho, just suplex him and be happy.

Nice to get a university level festival arc for a change! A different take on a very common trope

Ena and Kosuke looked adorable for their fake wedding, looks like Ena is finally starting to realise how she feels about Kosuke. That little blush was so cute. I’m happy for my boy, he deserves it.

As for Kanade, I like how her brain subconsciously knew that dude wasn’t good for her and had bad intentions, that’s why she automatically said no. Nice little touch there, not only does she have amazing physical reflexes for defense but mental as well. I hope he doesn’t try anything crazy next episode … was a bit of a wild cliffhanger.

Finale next week, season 3 please!

Congratulations! Torasuke! Wishing you a long and happy marriage. 😁
That guy, what is his name again?, the one who wants to date Kanade was acting kind of creepy, maybe someone needs to punch him. Kanade should not date that guy at all cost.

Lmao, that cliffhanger at the end. He looked so scary, I hope he's not a serial killer, tbh I feel sorry for Kanade that she met such a creep. Other than that I think Torasuke and Ibarada will be now more open to a potential relationship. They were cute at the fictional wedding.

The culture festival continues, but one person isn't feeling it: Kanade, whom resumes her date with Shikijou as means of her own normalcy. Everyone does things at their own pace, but the Ikeda Lab sure has Kosuke in the form of a groomsman cosplay. Ibarada in a wedding dress, that easily makes Kosuke's heart flutter.

Even the probability of the wedding dress worn to show more experiments and theories, more like the concern is about the date to marry early or late. Yamamoto sure shows her age well enough for Kosuke to avoid being targeted by her. But when a kid comes up to them, it's better to put dreams into their heads...and while at it, the realities of science as well. To even try and imitate an actual wedding ceremony, Kosuke's true end is not with Aika, but with the pipsqueak Ibarada.

Yamamoto...YOU HAD ONE JOB and pushed to shove with Kosuke and Ibarada's virginity kiss. If only they could be more earnest with their feelings...

Himuro has delicacy to not intrude on Kanade's date, but Yukimura sure has beef to pick on her everytime for her own sake, and this moment is no different. It's best to let her be herself for a day, and for Kanade to recognize Shikijou's earnest feelings for her, she should go for it...backtracked with her raw feelings that put Shikijou on a pedestal.

What a creepy cliffhanger, is this the same guy that Kanade's come to know being his normal self?

Kosuke and Ena's (fake) wedding was fantastic. I wonder when Ena's gonna start letting their feelings show through. It's getting pretty close as it is.

Also, dude, take the L. Even if Kanade was lying or something, you're not in the emotional state to discuss it rationally. You need to leave.

I liked it because the episode shows Kanade receiving Shikijou and rejecting him while the mangaka takes pictures of all the couples and even bothers Kosuke to marry him and even makes Ibarada and him kiss

Nice to see Ms Kamiya appear again. But the Ikeda lab's cosplay event really is going pretty well. Ena looked pretty nice in the wedding dress. Erika too. The wedding dress question sure provided a rare example of a teamup between those two though. Erika's transformation into the wedding demander though lol. Ena's detailed crushing of that child's dream sure was counter to the reason for explaining. But it served as nice prelude to her own feelings. The passing band deciding to step in was a nice touch. On the off side looks like Kanade's got trouble in the form of her now deranged ex potential boyfriend. Curious how this will end next week.

Here's some advice for people out there who are "rediscovering" themselves. Who aren't sure of who they are or what they want in Life. DON'T GO OUT WITH SOMEONE IF YOU AREN'T SURE OF. BE IT A MAN OR A WOMAN.
The last part of the episode ticked me off. Not because of the fact that Kanade rejected the guy or the guy turned out to be a yandere but it was Kanade's actions.
Let us assume that the guy would have just an ordinary guy with no problems whatsoever(Definitely not a yandere), would her actions be justified? Her quest to discover herself or realize what she wants in her life made her lead that poor guy believing that she was actually interested in him. Why? Is it justifiable for all of you to lead people around because of your little adventure of finding what you want in life?
I actually liked how her mental reflexes kicked in just in time but her past behavior in the last 3 episodes have been pissing me off.
Now come at me for saying this like i believe she doesn't have the right to think for her life.
Point being made is that, if your past actions are haunting you so much, if your mind cannot make a decision for what you want in life; Don't fucking go around doing whatever you want to. Don't fucking go around leading people then dumping them saying "I've rediscovered myself" or "I know what i want now". If you were so obsessed with your rediscovery, you should've done something else instead of leading people around.
p.s. Guy was a yandere and she did the right thing. I am coming at her because i hate characters like her who are all jolly good in behaving but still mess up stuff around them and believe they can get away with it just because they fucking can.
Nothing interesting is going to happen in the next episode apart from Kanade knocking the yandere down when he would come at her or something because that is usually what happens in the anime. Peace Out :)

Kousuke and Ena scene aaa so cute <3

I wish the best for Kotonoha, she deserves to be happy and break this bad relationship circle; Naoya scared me... And I hope Arika finds someone who understands her xD

We had less Shinya and Ayame today, but is good to have other characters shining. Hope there will be a 3rd season, I need more answers.

I mean if I was that dude I would have been creeped out as well. Kanade was leading my man on for what she thought is "Normal" and it came to bite her in the ass. I do not think anything drastic will happen but when you go all out for someone and shit is going well and then you get rejected AGAIN what kind of response did you expect?

Kousuke and Ena scene was Perf.

Also good job Kanade you idiot, you just ruined your 2nd chance at love and having a actual relationship, but no your obsessed with Normal.

Thank you bride obsessed little girl for that wonderful Ibarada and Kosuke moment, that’s something a lot of us have been waiting for and it was awesome, Ibarada being flustered after she ran away was a nice touch, and she looked really good in that wedding dress too, Yamamoto looked great too, someone please marry her lol.

And wow, so Shikijou ended up being a psycho huh, he really did seem like a decent guy who also shared my interest in Kanade lol, but alas he couldn’t take the rejection and now he’s gonna show his true colors. I really hope to see a good ending for Kanade next week and a good ending to this great season 2! Can’t believe there’s 1 episode left already.

You do realise that the anime is portraying her actions as something you shouldn't do, right? That the point of her character arc is that her pretending to be "normal"/"discovering herself" is not something one should do?

Just because something is portrayed in a story, does not mean it is endorsed. Do you think the entirety of Wit studio and CloverWorks endorse being an assassin as an honest and viable job just because it is portrayed in Spy x Family? I sure hope not.

N.b if you just don't like Kanade's character, that is fine, you are not supposed to like this aspect of her, but it sounds more like an attack on the story's writing. Let me just say, I would rather there be a flawed character in the cast than a full cast of "perfect" people, even if it is painful to watch at moments

Its pretty simple for you to understand.
Lead someone on, no care what will happen next because you are doing whatever the fuck you want to, then face the what you've led and complain about that.
Its not just about endorsement. Its not about perfection. Its about the fact that Kanade's character is fucking trash for pretending to be normal and messing up things around her. She had so many options but chose to fuck around w the poor guy. Since he was a yandere, all is fine. If he was a normal person, y'all still wouldn't care because "PURPOSE OF LIFE", am i right?
Dont come at me for being illogical or endorsement or perfection or being flawed.
Read the entire thing again and think of it in other perspective.

Yes, I agree with that, and I know people in real life who do that too.

Again I do not believe that she was/is doing the right thing by any means, even with the guy turning out to be the way he (presumably) is. What I should have made clear is that I think that including these inherently bad actions, does not equate to the show itself being inherently bad. If even one person watches this show and realises that they are acting in the same manner as Kanade, and decide to do something about that fact, then that is a win in my book.

I 100% with you on this, because Kanade is the only character I HATE in this, because she's effing cancer and everything she's involved in turns into a drama filled shit-fest, like that stupid misunderstanding with her, Shinya and Ayame back in Season 1.

Good job Kanade you idiot, you just ruined your 2nd chance at love and having a actual relationship, but no your obsessed with Normal.

Also if going to string someone along, then flat out reject him, because your to obsessed with what being normal is, then you don't deserve to be in romantic relationship at all and I don't blame the guy going Yandere Mode, not to mention I hated how she embarrassed Yukimura, because he was just trying help her in his own way.

Bottom line, Kanade is a Trash Waifu and wish she was gone from the story.

you sound like you've never had this problem yourself, that's for sure. good for you that you can make such decisions on yourself, but many don't. many of my friends got married to the men they weren't sure about because they couldn't take the peer pressure, not being aware that trading the lack of it for a bad man is a bad deal. I struggled myself (still do, although I'm taking Yukimura's side here) but I was like Kanade at one point too. I somehow managed to dig myself out of that hole, but I can confirm it looks like what Kanade represents from the inside. I was conditioned the same way. women do this, not that. women should be grateful someone is interested in them. this shit is real and said early on in life gets imprinted on your whole being. it takes a lot to get rid of it. don't underestimate it. Kanade represents all these women that can't progress at their own pace for one reason or another. no laughing matter. not their own fault. and it's easy to get lost and not know what's good for you when you've been conditioned into believing something so much your own true feelings scare you because they are so different to what you're used to believe... hope Kanade comes around and learns to trust herself, and finally accepts what Yukimura said

The Kosuke and Ibarada thing has no brakes and all that wedding stuff, plus the mangaka that with the push made them kiss, yes the situation should change, already with Kanade, if she rejected him, there it will be seen that it is because she knows it is the right thing to do.

WHAT AN AMAZING EPISODE. I'm making this a 9.

This had so much great stuff, especially the kiss with Ibarada, and her blush afterwards that showed us that she also has feelings for Kosuke.

Too wholesome.

But the bittersweetness is still on this episode. That ending was really scary and I didn't see that coming.

That was super bizarre. Looking forward to the last episode and see how that scene will end. Hoping for a third season to be announced, or I might have to read the manga.

Ibarada and Kosuke's fake wedding was pretty good to see but it even ended with an (unintentional) kiss :o didn't expect that but that was perfect, especially Ibarada's reaction when she hid afterwards ahaha.
Though I was going to say that Kanade was stupid and that she would better stay sad alone if she doesn't want the help of Yukimura but she finally said no though that guy probably showed his true self and his going berserk wtf, I hope that he won't try hitting her or anything but it's proof that it's was the perfect decision to say no.

Why i am not surprised the guy immediatly go yandere mode after Kanade reject him? Her reflection about her family being haapy just before then the blue randoseru present her psyche quite well. You can't just keep playing the good normal girl every time, it is too exhausting.

The "mariage" was cute and funny to watch.

I hope it's that the guy's breaking down from similar insecurity over being normal. Having him turn out evil to make Kanade's decision regret free would be so lazy.

but like the guy just wasted his time for kanade to just say no. of course, he's gonna be pissed or act like that. well, we need to say what he's gonna do tho

Yeesh. No. People aren't machines that dispense a relationship after putting in enough friendly interaction. He can be frustrated, sure, but any sort of rage like this was his right is way out of line.

Ena and Kosuke's scenes were absolutely great in this episode.

Meanwhile, the scenes with Kanade and her lame suitor get even trashier the longer it gets. I hate how this "I want to be normal" drama with Kanade is being dragged on for too long. I like her in season 1 but in this season, she's really pissing me off.

And now the lame guy became cray cray after his lame ways of courting the girl didn't give him the result he wanted.

+1 This is the truth. Actually, some people doesn't know what it is the meaning of love relationship. Sometimes, they don't have the ability to manage each situation.

I really enjoy the focus on Kanade since 2-3 episodes. The "nice guy / girl" syndrom, to be kind with everyone because we think this is the solution to have a better life and a good attention from other people.

I know it about this date guy. When I see his eyes, I feel uncomfortable.

I cannot wait the final episode :)

I guess I laughed too much this episode, thanks to that Kosuke-Ibarada segment with the mangaka we had in the first half. Also FUCK YES.. they kissed, be it an accident. Mangaka did her role a bit too better this time around lol.

Also what... the super sweet guy turned out to be a salty simp.
