| I know this is shonen 101 and everything must be over the top, but this particular episode was just a bit too much for me regarding the whole selection process by the headmasters. |

| Super fun episode. Or is elegant the right word? The test was funny as it was ridiculous. But the Forgers were badass with thier changes of clothes. They all got to shine in thier own way. It breaks my heart to see Anya cry like that. Clearly she's experienced trauma in her past. Yor and Loid were going to annihilate that teacher if it wasn't for Loid pulling back at the last second. The next episode is going to be a blast, I remember it being a standout chapter in the manga. |
| The day of the interview of the Forger family has arrived, but they are already being tested the moment they walked through the school gates as being observed by the school staff. Housemaster Henderson was among the ones watching the Forger family and seeing them react and anticipate different situations has left and elegant and scary impression on him. Swan's comments during the interview was uncalled for causing Yor to almost break her cover and Loid took his frustrations on the table. Luckily, Henderson was there to do the job for him by punching Swan in the face. |

| Truly the most exemplary display of elegance this episode was. Oh Anya crying had me heart torn to pieces who wouldn't wanted to punch that ahole in the face. Im sure after that their spot is secured that just need to get the message. :) |

| I wasn't planning on getting teary this episode, what the hell? I reallylove this show. Despite Loid acting like he only cares about his mission (which is true to a certain extent), he shows many signs of actually caring and protecting his "fake" daughter. The fact that he can go as far as failing the mission for the sake of Anya says everything. The same thing goes for Yor, though I would say Yor's sense of justice is originally strong. I really appreciate these serious moments in the show when it's not just laughs and giggles. Love to see that they're slowly growing on each other and connecting more. This balance between the comedy and the serious notes is what I need right now. The animation does not disappoint. Overall, this show deserves the attention it's receiving and more. |

| That was a test with everything, even with problems that came unexpectedly, the truth is that seeing that, not being a family as such, there is concern and all, is to hope that it will turn out well, and something will have to be seen. |
| Great episode! Wow, Yor and Loid were well prepared with their extra clothing and beat Mr Elegant! Honestly though, why did Anya start crying? She was aware of how important this mission was and she kind of ruined it... Looking forward to the next episode! |

| What a fantastic Episode. I continue to be surprised by how ELEGANTLY this series switches from making you laugh to giving you the feels. Absolutely adore the genuineness of these three’s relationship which continues to develop fantastically even after only 4 episodes. It's easy to empathize with Twilight and Yor as we all really have one goal. Protect Anya at all costs. |

If you've watched anime for long enough you probably know the word GAMBARIMASU which means I will work hard(polite). Anya, trying to make herself more polite for the interview, uses this "verb" ending in a "noun" ; the noun being Daijobu.LinkedHorizon007 said: I love how anya structures her sentences in this episode. unfortunately It doesn't translate well in english. How and why tho? I might be seeing different subtitles since I watch on Muse Asia. So she says Daijobumasu, gambarimasu; which is really cute but given that English doesn't have this grammatical feature it's impossible to translate it without losing the essence of what Anya actually says. In the Muse Asia subtitles thay just add the word Sir which is really sloppy translation if you ask me. Anya says this in the first few minutes of this episode and once again, when she was talking with the collapsed cow. Anya's speech pattern is really cute if you ask me. She uses lots of short sentences in third person filled with rhyming phrases and mimetic words which again, is really hard to translate. Just think about how does picking up waku waku makes it even better(assuming u did picked it up). |
