JoJo's and Fate Series.
They are quite long when we combine different seasons, especially Fate with all those spin offs and side stories

Hunter x Hunter with 148 episodes. I don't really do well with long series so I usually don't watch much of them.

If you're dividing it the same way MAL does, then it's Naruto Shippuden with 500.
If not, then it's either Pokémon or Yu-gi-oh (I watched up to the first season of Journeys for Pokémon, with a rewatch of D/P, while I watched up to the end of VRAINS with Yu-gi-oh, and am rewatching DM).
Pokémon at 1135, and YGO! at 999 (excluding specials/movies and rewatches).

it would have to be Naruto: Shippuden for me at 500 eps
great anime filters were meh
probably would be rated higher if there weren't any filters.

For a single entry it's got to be Naruto: Shippuuden and its 500 episodes, although I might have went over that number when I used to watch One Piece, but not by much if it's the case.

But since some are counting entire franchises, then it's certainly Pokémon, which I watched up to Black & White, which is also the best generation for anyone wondering.

Just want to add, the anime for B/W is usually considered one of the worst.
If you're talking games, though, then that's a prefectly normal stance.

Yu-Gi-Oh at 224 episodes. Took me about 2 months of binging. Plus i'd been watching it on/off for years.

Aside from that, i very rarely watch long anime. The longest after that is Dragon Ball GT with 64 episodes.
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

Original Doraemon (I think it had 3k eps. Not sure if I watched every single ep but I've watched it for years as a child never realising it was an anime)

Shippuden (currently at 445 eps)

A lot of Crayon Shin-chan eps. (Not sure how many but I watched it a lot as a kid and it's still ongoing I think)

So far! the longest, most "time-consuming" anime that I watched as of late was Monster Rancher which I enjoyed more than most of the Digimon anime franchise and Pokémon (I facepalm every time I remember Charizard goofing off).

Watched the whole series not too long ago and let's just say that it's the best anime to watch for kitchen duty.

I dont remember the total number of episodes I have watched for Doraemon, Pokemon, Naruto, Dbz and beyblade but I have probably watched more than 100 or 200 episodes of each.

Apart from them, Bleach with 190 episodes till now (Planning to continue it again in the upcoming months).

Naruto 220 + Naruto Shippuden 500 + some 80 episodes of Boruto + most of Naruto movies.

One Piece will probably be the only possible contender to throw Naruto of that spot. I started One Piece sometime ago, but I stranded at episode 138, slighty after the Alabaster arc
Kingdom Come Deliverance II GOTY 2025

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is another worthy GOTY contender I tip my fedora to Sandfall Interactive, excellent debut gentlemen!

Of course. Such expression definitely goes with the games/TCG first and foremost before going with the series, which I always considered to be some kind of a companion to the games/TCG anyways personally.

Yeah, I just wasn't sure, since we're on an anime site.
Thanks for clarifying.

I'm sure many have watched things upwards of hundreds of episodes but so far the longest thing I've seen is legitimately Attack on Titan at 80 something episodes now lmao. Fruits Basket and FMAB I think are next with about 63-64 episodes. Guess I have yet to dive into a really long one.

Sazae San with over 7000 episodes.

I of course didn't watch every episode so my more realistic answer would probably be Doraemon with 2000+

- NOT your usual shounen anime
- Pure comedy? DEAD WRONG
- Treat Gintama as SoL/weekly sitcom especially earlier seasons
- Ep 1 & 2 are for manga readers
- BIG patience for its 'slow' start

I would say start with bleach since it has approx 40% filler episodes so you can easily complete it in a few months and can enjoy the latest arc which is going to release in October.

One Piece for me. Easy shounen binge.

I'm surprised people are watching all of Pokemon or watching Detective Conan. Harder to get into since they're episodic.

IIRC, I watched 800+ episodes of OP before I finally decided that the show was ass. Biggest one I've finished is the Naruto series (yes that includes that painfully long War Arc and fillers).

I’ve seen over 200 episodes of Pokémon. I’m not sure how many exactly because I haven’t kept track of it all, but I’ve seen the Kanto-Johto seasons in their entirety + a lot of Sun and Moon.
