| That was a cute way to end the show ! Though I hope Marin will get to tell her feelings to Gojo when he is actually awake. Overall, I didn't expect to like this show but it was a lot more enjoyable than I thought. Nothing incredible in my opinion but it did good at being relaxing and fun with very likable characters, and I liked the whole thing surrounding cosplay, it was interesting. I give it a 6/10, which can seem harsh but it's not, it's just that I'm not attached enough to it to give it more. I enjoyed it but I don't think it's something that will particularly stick with me, though I'm looking forward to a second season. |

| I'm not a big fan of romance anime. I think it's probably one of my least watched genres, but I do occasionally like seeing anime versions of sports and other hobbies that I don't have much interest or knowledge in, so when I saw it was about cosplaying I figured I'd give it a shot. And honestly...I'm shocked by how much I enjoyed it. Gojou and Marin were both just so damn likeable and felt more human than many of the other characters I've seen in the genre. It was also refreshing not to have to put up with a lot of the usual rom-com anime tropes like the guy getting hit by the girls when he accidentally catches a glimpse or the girl not understanding her romantic feelings. Yes, Marin can seem a little too good to be true at times or like she was made specifically to appeal to a wide audience, but she managed to worm her way past my cynicism despite that and bumped Yomi Isayama off my favorites list after years. 8/10, though it would've been 9/10 if they had kissed even briefly in episode 11. |
| Pretty good overall. The two main criticisms I heard about it before watching turned out to be completely asinine. "It's high rated because of the T&A" was obviously wrong when ecchi is probably the lowest rated genre on the site, if I had to guess the average score for "horny" anime on this site is probably like 6.5. So it's clearly highly rated in spite of and not because of the fanservice. Then you've got the broader "this is a self insert incel show", as if Gojo isn't a chad. You've got a tall, handsome, driven, passionate, talented and considerate man and I'm supposed to believe it's weird anyone would like him. It's incel wish fulfillment because Marin likes eroge but if both characters swapped hobbies I feel like people would call it incel wish fufillment even harder lol. My main issue is one it shares with a number of other anime. It is highly unusual how far certain anime "couples" go without ever really addressing the idea of dating. I'm generally not one to rag on "passive" MCs, because there's nothing more pathetic than assuming someone has romantic interest in you just because they're kind to everyone. Like if Gojo asked Marin out after she helped him clean up the classroom at the start that would have been whack. But I feel like there's a limit to how much a single man and woman of the same age can do ALONE together without so much as addressing the elephant in the room. Like they've done more things together than most people who are actually dating. The biggest one for me was when Marin explicitly went out of her way to say "let's do more things like this...just the two of us." A lot of "slow romance" anime often has the 2 relevant characters hanging out in groups so it's more plausible. But stuff like this and Uzaki-chan where two people attracted to each-other hang out alone constantly, it's a bit much. It's fine is one or both of them just wanna be friends but in both these anime you would think at least one of them would broach the subject. This is the one thing I find unrealistic, and is potentially a meta thing as mangaka are known to needlessly prolong their popular works. I can't say for sure, but it is possible a realistic pace has been sacrificed for irl reasons. But again, I do think it's an above average show. Mostly likeable characters and some genuinely funny moments. Also I love how Gojo consumes "extreme" media in such a clinical fashion. Seriously taking notes about womens fashion while playing an eroge, not caring in the slightest that his Grandpa was at the door. Rewinding the intense horror movie to get a closer look at the makeup and wardrobe of the characters. Stoically talking about his fav moments from the eroge in front of strangers, and then directly to Sajuna (something about anal beads). He's horny for Marin but I'm not sure he got even slightly horny while playing or talking about those eroge lol. |
| the highlight for me was when marin suddenly decided to stick her tongue out during the fireworks. can't wait for S2 but i'm guessing it's gonna be awhile for that to happen. |

And for the record, I did give this show a 4.5 wich on my behalf it's quite fair, if I thought this was a 1 early on I wouldn't certainly have finished, I at least gave it the benefit of the doubt to watch it all and reach a verdict. Third, I could have dropped this show early on, or any other show, but like I said, I don't need permission from angry kids like you to drop or continue watching. And regarding whatever question you made about leads, I certainly don't need to answer anything to you nor any other nobody that gets butthurt because other people don't like what they do. Go be an angry intolerant elswhere and get some reading/writing lessons on the way, that you surely need more than wasting time on discussion forums. Also buy a dictionary and learn how to properly write the word DELUSIONAL. |

| I didn’t expect to love this show so much but omfg it’s amazing! There’s none of that cliched teen romance shit with Marin & Wakana pretending they don’t have feelings for each other which was refreshing! I loved how high quality the animation was too which is something that is usually missing from romance anime. I feel like if more romance anime has this animation quality they’d do better. I can’t wait for season 2 (even though we have no idea when that will happen!) |

| Typical matsuri episode. Putting the epilogue aside (which was nice), in general this episode was okay. It was kinda hard to endure Gojou after some episodes, he´s either very dense or very hysterical. Does not worth for the comedy nor for the romance xD But worth watching for Kitagawa and the ecchi / fanservice scenes, and the good art / animation are very tempting. In general, a very enjoyable anime. Would rate 9/10 -1/10 Gojou density and hysterical scenes Final 8/10 xD |

| I loved this Slice of Life, Rom-Com. It's just too wholesome it constantly was making me smile. I've been thinking about cosplaying for awhile now, and honestly I think this show makes me want to do it even more it just looks like so much fun! |

| This has been such a nice series. Wholesome, cute, and very unique. Don't think I've ever watched an anime dedicated to cosplaying and the excitement of seeing the next cosplay is great. Shame there hasn't been a season 2 announcement yet considering how much this series exploded on the internet. That last scene was nice as it felt like it was talking to the audience too with the "See you later". |

| I gotta say, last episode was borderline stupid. Like, nobody is that obvlious of oneself until get hit by a raging boner, but i suppose that's the source material.. The finale relied more on the wholesomeness of it and the quality increased tenfold, wished it was like this much much more. In the end nice male lead, surprisingly Marin is the one that underdelivers, nobody watches that amount of porn and is simultaneously that dense, it just doesn't happen. 8/10 because i really liked the premise, the passion showed and the overall wholesomeness. i just disliked the fanservice and Marin's total lack of self awareness. |

| 8/10, very good slice of life anime. The ending was sweet, but it just highlights how short this season was. I hope they announce the 2nd season soon. |

| That was a sweet last episode as the two went together and enjoy the festival. I wonder if they realize that its a date. Marin is funny knowing she's scared of horror stories. She looks really beautiful in Yukata. The only thing I'm disappointed is not seeing Juju and little(big) sister again in the final episode. Would love to see them in Yukatas as well. After watching this series, I can understand why people love this. Its such a sweet and wholesome series. Even thought I don't really like cosplaying, seeing them having fun doing cosplays is fun. Gojou is amazing in making costumes. Add to that the top-tier animation quality this have is a cherry on top. This series really made me smile and feel good. Hoping for a season 2. |
| Great ending to a great anime. Festival, fireworks and Marin in a yukata, yay! Marin getting to tell him how she feels, even though he was asleep, made me happy but I was expecting him to say it first in his sleep. Hopefully we'll get a second season. 10/10 |
