This episode second half, if was a RPG, is a moment "When you dont have enough point in diplomacy to do the mission stealthily".

Like the ep much.

The pier scene was tense. Nice to ramp it up after a few slow eps. Loved Annie and Reiner getting into it. Haven't seen Annie turn Scouts into stains in a few years. I think it is best when they show the titan lightning from a distance and have everyone react. There is only one thing in their world that makes the light and sound and everybody knows.
MAPPA doesn't do the action as kinetic as Studio Wit. The ODM scenes don't carry the same sense of speed. It's not the art, it's the direction.
I knew Connie was going to have a bad time of it. Poor guy. I didn't think he'd dome those two guys. Was Daz on at the top of the wall when Sasha stole the meat in S1? It'd be crazy if he was an S1 original.

Amazing action in this episode. So horrible to see our love characters suffer making difficult decisions on the spot like this.

Man, what a great episode. Visually loved the movement and facial expressions. The OST choice real solid as well, nice to see the female titan in her form once again. Always the weirdest episodes that make me the most excited, but this for some reason hit the right spot.

4/5 just two annoying things.

why did Connie have to kill he is on top off? The threat has already been neutralized after killing the guy that was pointing his gun at armin. Maybe I am missing something?

Magath's apology was kinda long winded and forced. It was a bit too straightforward and awkward. Compare that to Jean's apology last episode which felt genuine.

By communicating. Did you not watch the last episode at all? How the group has come together despite being enemies because they've been united by something as objectively awful as GLOBAL GENOCIDE? Wars unite countries one way or another, and all wars end with the two conflicts having to talk. Imagine how few lives would be lost if that talking point happened sooner rather than after nukes or in this case pure unfiltered mass murder. Eren is killing people who have NOTHING to do with the conflict related to Eldians, he's worse than the titan that ate his mother at this point. Any solution is better than a genocide on this scale.

By communicating..hmmm? Like in chapter 123 where IT WAS POINTED OUT CLEARLY that different world leaders didn't want to have a discussion with the people in Paradis. Yeah...go read AOT again...By any solution is better then this, you mean, it's ok to kill the Eldians, because there are more racists in the world then there are Eldians?

But did Paradis or Eren try to negotiate with the outside world?

Clearly the Hizuru and Onyokopon's people are proof that there nations out there that wanted to form diplomatic relationships with Paradis.

But the first display of their intentions that Paradis ever gave to the world was a terrorist attack on Liberio that killed embassadors from all around the world.

Paradis never really tried anything diplomatic.

And preventing a genocide by committing an ever bigger genocide is not a good plan. It is morally wrong no matter how many justifications you want to make.

Riner remembering Eren saying that he would’ve done the same thing they did and later in the episode Connie rememberg what Bertholt said back in s2 it really connected everything especially for Connie the realization that he’s doing what they we’re doing and now he fully understands how Riner and Bertholt felt when they betrayed everyone

Not enough fight scenes...the action is lacking compare to previous seasons.

They already killed their own people when they tried to rescue Eren back in S3, or when they turned into titans by Zeke.

They don't need more resolve to do this again. Just look at Eren, he knew exactly what he's doing and consequence when Sasha died to met his goal. Just go straight to Eren already. We want Eren! THere's only 2 episodes left!!!! :L

I'm really enjoying what's happening once they actually start doing things, in case of this episode after the ad break, but the sheer amount of slow, pointless talking before that, with filler stills that take just a bit too long to cut...
It's so obvious they want to stretch it out, it's becoming a little insulting.

Connie did nothing wrong, he and the global alliance are not traitors

Omine did not storyboard this episode so i guess it shows even though he is the episode director

Connie is a cold blooded murderer. Daz, was shown as a very scared person, but when it came to protect the Trost district, while he was scared as hell, he fought because he had a sister and a family to protect. He then joins the yeagerists, because he things that that way he can protect his family. He was able to survive the terror of the titans only to be killed by some trash, who wants to protect people who want eldians dead. A fucking murderer
i agree with you. I dont know why tf they wanna stop the rumbling. I was rooting for daz and samuel the entire time. They had so much belief on armin and connie. But just killed like fucking nobodies. Fuck man it sucks. It sucks. Fuck you connie.

One of the best written episodes 10/10! It was much more intense than any other episode from all the other seasons. I feel like this and the previous few episodes are mentally preparing the group to fight against their friend Eren ;c

what an amazing Episode again.

Didn't expect Magath to show Understanding for Armins group, Annie, Reiner and all the Eldians even. Did he act for the most part or was he honest i wonder... Even if He Is honest, what difference will all of this make to Marlay or all of the World in the end?

Poor Armin and Connie, could not solve this tense situation peacefully like they had hoped and Connie had to shoot both of the Yeagerists.

Annie and Reiner's Transformation Scene was great and especially seeing Annie in action was awesome. The yeagerists could not handle her rapid Titan movement amd even slight openings to counter attack were denied by Reiner.
But can this Assault remain this clean? the next episode will show
just because I’ve gotten weaker, doesn’t mean that you got stronger, does it?

This is a much more better episode than I would've expect. I know Attack on Titan at this point is spiralling downwards, but the things that happened this episode (except for Magath breaking Yelena's arm that was so unnecessary) was truly remarkable.

Let's not go into the details of how we got here, the important thing is the impact at the end. It is so sad to see Connie killing Daz and Samuel for what he thinks is right, this proves the point that in this world there are no good people and bad people, it is all just a survival of the fittest. And you can not separate Mikasa from Annie, both have equally killed people for their objectives. At this point, I'm just hoping Floch to give up his ass and let them get it over with.

(again) I really don't like this whole final season of AoT, but man this episode was sooo fucked up and made me finally care/feel a about the characters.

Too bad this episode made it all the more clear that it will not end in 2 episodes.

Another great episode, Shingeki deserves the title of peak fiction, Magath's development will be studied in the future as a prime example of character development. the ending was quite emotional with those 2 supporting characters that we never heard about, I almost cried.

I didnt consider the port battle that memorable when I first read it in the manga, but the anime adaptation changed my thinking! Sometimes for us manga readers, the best episodes are the ones we dont expect great things from. This was also probably the sole most important scene for Connie's entire charcater, the voice acting made it much more intense than it was in the manga.. minus the censorship of course. Armin looked like a zombie in the manga

Wow, this was a fantastic episode! The animation was awesome, and particular scenes like when Connie and Armin were at the flying boat (before Flochi tried shooting more engineers and such) was absolutely breath-takingly suspenseful. I could feel the anxiety building up as they were suspected to be traitors by Samuel and that other guy. Seeing Annie and Reiner fight together was epic too. I can't wait to see what happens next!

As expected, I am liking the post 122 content in AOT much more in anime than in the manga. It's very enjoyable to me at the moment. Teruyuki Omine strikes again this episode after animating Two Brothers at the start of the season, and he nailed it. The highlights of the episode were Annie and Reiner's transformations and the final scene of "Traitors". Overall a great episode.

Are you really gonna listen to hypocrite Granny that actually supported genocide to Marley so Hizuru can get benefit politically and economically? Kiyomi literally saying something that indeed Floch was aiming for and said it was bad? Yeah talk again with her getting excited over rewards of helping "planned genocide" and feeling bad for her when that shit strikes back
