And to think that this show had a great start as well, jfc. That was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen. The ridiculous plot armor was out of control these past few episodes and I couldn't care less about the fucking cry baby, annoying clown that is Milo. The " I love you" felt forced as well and solely said for the BL lovers lol...

A lot of what happened these past few episodes just feel unnecessary. Are we really gonna have Milo as the sole protagonist? Shoot me now...

Great episode. Unfortunately bisco died, I was really upset about that. Milo said he loved bisco but bisco died and hence they could not love, very unfortunate.

Well, this was somehow the most absurd, chaotic mess of an episode this show has ever had. And yet, I loved it, even with Bisco dying and Milo taking over as the protagonist (a move I'm really not keen on, cos I just do not care for Milo much at all).

Ending of this episode almost reminds me of the ending for Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

But setting that aside, what else will this series have to focus on with 3 episodes left and Kurokawa now dead?

While I have the same mixed feelings as mostly everybody that has made a comment for the episode I for one quite liked this episode. I actually thought that it was better than some of the episodes that we got before.
I believe that Bisco's death was unnecessary but make sense overall as he needed to make sure that Kurokawa was defeated. I loved the music for this episode and loved how it was more action than just characters prepping for some big stuff. Overall I had originally given the anime an 8/10 but now after watching episode 9 have rissen up my score to an 9/10.

Like I'd said last episode, "aishiteiru" (I love you) is mostly used in anime when someone dies. Other times, they use "suki". Though, I was half expecting Milo to be the one to die.

The anime is named after Bisco, so I have a feeling he's still alive. But, I can't see how that's possible. If he's alive, Kurokawa should also be alive. And, I can't see how they can bring Bisco back in a satisfying way.

This anime just goes "Bisco and Pawoo like each other", and then starts giving us Bisco x Milo scenes. lol. I wish Milo didn't just say "ai shiteiru", and also said "koi shiteiru", even though it was technically implied!

Hm. I don’t know about this episode.

The fight between Bisco and Kurokawa was pretty hardcore. I assume Bisco was taking unnecessary hits because he was going to die to rust anyways and wanted to scare the shit out of Kurokawa before killing him. This time Milo magically knows where to go and can catch up to Bisco on Akutagawa to save the day which was dumb. Their moment at the end was handled ok. Felt kinda overdramatic given how little time we actually got between them. The music helped, but this anime’s fast pace definitely hurt it in that regard.

They were cutting costs most of the episode but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

Not sure where it goes from here.

We’re really zooming now huh, at least it feels like it, but the content itself was great. Got a nice moment between Bisco and Milo in the beginning, and now we’re already back to fighting Kurokawa again after he reveals his evil plans, as villains do, and Bisco has somehow found out where Kurokawa and Jabi were and snuck in as one Kurokawa’s bodyguards and then proceeded to duke it out with Kurokawa in a pretty cool fight, got some cool new enemy designs once again too, mecha monkey and huge man with what seemed like an anti-tank gun, too bad they were both offed quickly in comedic fashion lol. Kurokawa gets a lot of good shots in but bullets don’t seem to work in this show so Bisco overpowers Kurokawa with the help of Milo who is also somehow okay now, and now we’re led to believe both Bisco and Kurokawa are dead, but even then I’m willing to bet Bisco will pull out somehow with how this show has gone so far lol.

Even with all my issues with the pacing and unexplained situations, it was still yet another fun episode and I’m still really enjoying it. Also Pawoo has E-cups, nice information lol.

Bisco dead? Something seems off. The show is named after him. I am quite sad that he is dead, at least his flesh is dead. But the way he said he would claw out of hell to protect milo makes me feel like this isn't the end of Bisco. Is he going to become the Tetsujin or something?
Honestly if he is dead, I doubt he would be dead in spirit. Seems that Milo may be carrying out Bisco will after he died or something. I am surprised that the title main character died before the end. It's very unusual to see as often people are likely to get easily upset.

Something that I saw a lot in this anime is that the characters like to do everything themselves, there are few times that there really is a plan before doing something.

I really look forward to something between Bisco and Paw in the future, and Milo supporting the relationship was something I enjoyed. The dream at the beginning of the anime had already shown me that something was wrong and someone would possibly die, at first I thought it would be Milo.

Bisco had a tense fight due to his current state, with part Kurokawa slowly breaking his psyche. However, after losing an eye and an arm while his body was affected by the disease, bisco made a stupid decision to take his life after defeating Kurokawa in a clear reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800. So passing the bow to Milo.

I found it unnecessary and extreme for the development of another character.

Seeing people say that "Bisco was going to die anyway might as well do it in style" makes me cringe. I felt nothing when Bisco died, his death was boring and dragged out. Bisco's death would have mattered more if he died from the rust itself. Rust the disease that he himself was trying to cure in order to save his mentor and reclaim the righteous name of the mushroom keepers. Rust the number 1 killer in this new world finally killed this brash caring hero. When Milo found Bisco at that moment where his fingers rusted off, your damm sure Milo would have poured his soul into saving Bisco. Milo doesn't give up easily, we've seen this in the episode with the giant crab. Milo's kindness and determination are core parts of his personality. Milo shouldn't have shot Bisco from a distance but have Bisco die in his arms, surrounded by a person that loves him. I don't know if Bisco could have survived; probably not but dude should have gotten to die by his friends side and not the governors.

Well technically he was dying from the rust. Though I agree that Milo's reaction did seem off. However, given the situation of Bisco sinking in lava and that Bisco already lost his arm because it was all rust(how do you even move at this point?) is probably why he didn't try jumping in to save him. The most he could have done is shoot a mushroom to try to pop him back up but who even knows if he would survive the impact and not shatter into pieces.
Also Milo is a doctor so he probably could tell that Bisco wouldn't last much longer. He also only just entered into the scene to just save Bisco in the nick of time with a bow. And as soon as he did that they where down in the lava. (also realistically lava is to hot to even get near as you would be cooked alive by the heat)

Honestly, I would also have to disagree with him being dead. At least completely. There was just to many hints of him "crawling out of hell" and stuff like that combined with the fact he is in the tittle and that the series still has 3 episodes left. Usually it's just one or two "I will live on in you" and then they die.

I don't think it's likely he is dead but I know better than to get my hopes up that a character is still alive. (Shinsekai yori, From the New World got me there). I can see a couple of ways he may be still existing. The most likely of them is unlikely to last to long, though.
