That magic mirror really is something, a one of a kind object in their world.

Episode is rather tense with action and drama. Daida is also pretty badass this episode imo, handling that monster by himself. He's becoming a legit intimidating character in this show with his own ambitions.

Despite the episode not being centered around Bojji and Kage, I actually found this to be a fine little episode. I've been liking the Daida/Bosse parts to the story the past few episodes more than the slow build surrounding Bojji's growth, although I hope that the process there progresses well enough for him to truly be great by the end. He's already showing some signs through that magic mirror when it was asked about who the strongest in the world was. It was nice seeing more focus on Bosse's backstory to a small degree at the start of the episode in particular, although I wish there was more going to his motivations to be honest for me to really care there. Hope the next few episodes can continue improving on the whole series, I'm still kinda mixed on the series but I can just feel the potential with each episode. It just needs to find that 'point' where everything just clicks for me in the future.

Little of Bojji and Kage yet still a strong episode. Which speaks to how good the world building and supporting cast of characters are. We got a lot of focus on many of the other characters than we have before, along with answering a few long standing questions.

Starting off with explaining how Bosse became so strong and why that demon thing popped out of his body when he died and most importantly why Bojji is so weak despite being the child of literal giants. Bosse sacrificed his own son to gain immense power. Kind of drops the dudes stock down a ton in my opinion. Like damn man you just sacrifice your first born child like that, that's some messed up shit. It looked like once he actually saw Bojji born he felt some regret and that's why he started that kingdom and tried to give Bojji a great life to make up for his disadvantages from the curse.

While the stock for Bosse plummeted the stock foe Domas rose a good bit. I don't hate him entirely anymore just a lot. He seems regretful as well for pushing Bojji into the pit and glad to learn he's alive. Saving poor Hokuro from his execution and committing to training Hokuro as a swordsman. Something I am very happy about, Hokuro has been a standup guy this and I want to see more of him and him grow stronger to help Bojji.

Bojji himself having mastered the Despa arts I wonder what that means, will we see more of his newfound strength like breaking that boulder. Is some of his inherent strength coming back since Bosse "died" and the demons deal is gone now. Bosse who isn't really dead anymore and has fully taken over Daida body. I'm not sure why he would do that but maybe having Daida in the first place was just for this moment. Bosse knew since he made the curse he wouldn't live long so he had a second son to gain a new body upon his early death. Craziness going on, Bosse is borderline psychotic if even part of that is true. He seems off now inhabiting Daida body. Lots of question still.

This anime never ceases to amaze me. The story just gets better and better. I also don't get how author wrote characters so well - whenever someone tires to make their characiers not be obvious good or bad guys, they end up feeling forced and overly neutral. Here? They just feel real.
I just don't know what was bigger surprise: explaination of Bojji's weakness, or the fact that he is the stongest now lol
Well, at least now I know why Bosse said that he sacrificed another son after taking over Daida's body.

I'm seriously in distress wondering if Queen Hiling will really be assassinated. She cant die.
Not that I realized they will make Queen Hiling drink Frozen Miranjo shake. So that was the foreshadowing of showing Miranjo ice pop?

So, Bosse does regret what he did; heck he may not have planned to be resurrected. He’s whispering something into the big four’s ears, something Miranjo doesn’t know about.

Daida is fine which is good, and I’m glad we’re getting the Bebin, Mitsumata and Bosse backstories .

Queen Hiling really cared for Bojji. It's nice to see it again. I don't care much for Daida.

I don't think Daida-Bosse wants to kill Queen Hiling but something like a deal with Miranjo is compelling him to. Bosse has made multiple pacts I think he regrets. That's why he sends Domas Lannister to rid the bottom of the castle of whatever witchery is there. We've only seen loyalty from Miranjo though, unless there is some kind of sinister plot behind everything Miranjo is doing - she only SEEMS evil, might not be.

I hope we see more of Despa, Bojji and Kage as a trio. Their dynamics are so much fun.

And Bojji is now the strongest, despite every hardship in life. That felt a bit too quick but it can make up for it in payoff.

I only have issue with the pacing and how screentime is relegated, other than that, greatness!

Great episode! Woah. So many twists in this episode! So King Bosse is now in Daida's body and we got to see a bit of his backstory in which he made a contract with the devil to become the strongest person in the world. To do this he had to give up his lifespan and had to 'take' the power of a relative who was... Boji! Was not expecting that at all! Also, the Queen really cares for Boji as well.

Looking forward to the next episode!

So we get a little bit of backstory on Bosse and how he met his first wife that gave birth to Boji. However, Bosse also made a deal with the devil to grant him power by taking the power of a blood relative. He had no trouble telling everyone in the Kingdom that he has been resurrected in the form of Daida and mentioned that Boji was still alive. I wonder what Bosse is really planing by sparing Domas keeping what he said to him a secret from Miranjo. I also what Boji can do now that he's mastered the Despa Arts.

So, as I predicted a few episodes ago on this forum :

- Bosse made a deal with the Demon to steal the powers of his first child, and used Bojji's mom to do so.

- Miranjo has been sealed into that Mirror by Hilling, and therefore, she wants her dead so she can get out of it.

Now, my new predictions :

- I think we'll see Bojji and Kage come back the way they came : through that Hole, and maybe show off his new abilities to that Captain of the Underworld Army or whatever (at King Desha's place).

- I think Bosse is playing along with Miranjo's plan to get rid of Hilling, but is in reality, plotting against her, and when he laugh at Bojji's appearing in the Mirror, it was because he was relieved that his son, despite all the wrong he did, became what he couldn't become : The Strongest.

- As I said before, I still think Bojji is the anchor to Bosse's power, and Miranjo has been protecting him, so that when Bosse would ressurect, he would still be powerful even in Daida's body (that is not a giant).

Yup....

Imagine daidas being their kid, aka king jeoffery. It fits pretty well actually: everyone thinks Daidas is the son of King Bosse (Robert Baratheon), when he is actually the result of Hilling getting it on with Domas (who is basically what Jaime Lannister was, a one-handed but skilled kingsguard who attempted murder on a young kid by pushing them from a high place LOL. And he's blond....)

Now the problem is, if it's anything like got, halfway through ousama ranking it's going to turn to shit

Really like how we got basically a whole character arc from Bosse out of a single episode. Literally started of by showing off how he was so obsessed with becoming the strongest in the world that he decided to steal his future Child's power, and only when that child was born did he realize that the way he had lived his entire life was wrong, and swore to change things going forward. Despite this change, he was ultimately intertwined too deeply with contracts from the past to be able to completely change things.

Im still super curious on Bojji's weapon. Given the fact that he's "the strongest in the world", but we still have a decent amount of story left, I would presume its going to be something that makes him the strongest by technicality.

I really like how episode by episode we get a new set of details about the background of various characters that make you change the way one's seen them until then. It makes you expectant to see more and sometimes it can hit quite a lot, especially when the story progresses further beyond that point. My props to that.

From my point of view it doesn't look like Bosse really outlined the plan for his own resurrection; in this episode we saw him acting as Mirror's co-conspirator while still scheming something on his own.
There must be a much larger plot involving all the parties and we, the viewers, can't visualize it yet.

The show is great quality and this episode was no different. Most of the casts basic motives have been revealed whilst beginning the next stages now that bosse's resurection has occured.

While i love the show I have a constant worry now that they have had many characters be killed but none of them die how idealisitic is the show and will many characters actually die. Obviously im not suggesting the show has to kill characters to be good but they have set the tone that many of these characters have ambitions/loyalties/conficts and that they are solved with violence so no character dying kinda gives it less weight. IDK if this supposed to be a show targeted at younger audiences or not because Bojji is definitely an innocent/idealisitic and joy of a character but pretty much the rest of the cast is nuanced and have their own conflicts. Just my worry though i don't belive the show will go downhill or anything its only a minor complaint.

I was underwhelmed by this episode. It was nice getting some answers, but the pace was much too fast. There isn’t much of a purpose hiding what some characters saw/said if you are just going to show it a little later in the episode anyways. I felt this was a step back visually too, as there were quite a few moments where characters looked awkward while moving.

Did I miss the reasoning behind Hiling assassination? I suppose they will explain it later, but it seems quite drastical. This episode put into the table many questions to be answered, which is kind of cool. The whereabouts of Bojji's mom, the purpose of Bosse deeds, the underground world, and Hiling's assassination. I would like to see how it will play with Bojji's new purpose

Before this episode I was thinking about how lazy the concept of doing a supernatural training off-screen is, and how it is comparable of omitting words in the dialogue to provide an artificial sense of suspension, and they literally did that here lmao This sort of "hiding" to key points of the story doesn't really contribute much here, the capability of the reveals to surprise anyone is near zero because of how transparent all the other corners are

While I said in the other thread that the pacing of the show overall is fine, this episode stands out as more fast paced and convoluted. A lot of information was unpacked, but we don't really know what they mean.

Hilling being a target, Bosse having made a pact that required Bojji's blood (and, presumably, strength), Bebin survived (which was obvious but we didn't know how and we still don't know exactly) etc.

The scene with Hokuro and Domas arguing was a pretty good moment of drama, though. It's nice when a story can still do a compelling conversation with an emotional conflict between characters over another character's death even though we already know Bojji is alive. It shows that they're are giving depth to these characters' choices and thought processes that surpasses the simple superficial facts of the plot.

Man, I just feel bad for Hiling throuhout all of this. I hope she isn't actually assassinated.

Really great episode! Also answers a lot of questions we've had so far. So, the reason Bojji's giant strength is gone is because it went to Bosse thanks to the deal with the devil. There's definitely more than meets the eye to Bosse, since he actually wanted his Bojji to live happily and it seems like he's also planning some things on his own behind Miranjo's back. The man's shoot his shot though, really went straight to "marry me and bear my child," and it worked lmao. I do wonder what Miranjo's goals are.

Let's fucking go, Bojji is the strongest now. Also glad Hokuro is fine, maybe he'll become as strong as Domas eventually under his tutelage. Daida is still conscious somewhere in his subconsciousness, that's great, so there's still hope for him to come back. Bebin is fine as well as expected, want to see him in action soon. Really looking forward to the next episode.

Alright, info dump episode. Its true Bossee had a pact with the demon, using Miranjo as the medium, and using Bojji as the source. Interesting. But there's still a missing info about how Miranjo become the magic mirror. But before that, ah, Bojji's mom. Quite a fine big woman i'd say, even though i must honest big woman wasn't really my thing xd. Still, really curious to know how she could die. Then maybe its also the time to adding the reason of why Bossee become sick like the first few episodes before. Or was that just a natural sickness and already the time for both of them to die? Dunno yet.

A lot of side character actually had their own screen time to tell their different separate side story, Domas, Dorche, even Bebin also surprisingly there! Its also included how Daida looks like still alive but trapped 'somewhere'. Whats goin on?

Nice episode. Focusing more and more onto the side character than the main one is always welcome to me, while keep steadily continuing the plot to progress by dumping those much info. Really looking forward to see the next....
