Well that escalated quickly! But why did Akkun push him in the first place? Did he have orders?

Oh wait....is Takamichi not the only one who can time travel?

goddammit

this show is mediocre af for the whole damn episode and then hits you with the shock value/cliffhanger ending. literally what they've done in episodes 1, 2, and now 4

it's bothering me

------------

mmm, so why did he push his old friend onto the tracks in the first place? and the whole time travel thing...i feel like it's a stretch for him to have figured it out just based on the one train incident...

the suicide. dragon being dead. having to go back in time to save even more lives. that creep overhearing their conversation. that was an intense final scene

there are so many logical inconsistencies though...

*i still don't get why that guy could save himself but not his sister
*why does him changing the past alter other people's futures/present but not his own? derp
*why does he have no recollection of what's transpired in the 12 years between his time traveling?
*if he gets saved from falling onto the tracks and doesn't die, doesn't that mean he never gets sent back to the past in the first place and none of this happens (i get that this is one of those things a lot of time travel shows take liberty with since otherwise there wouldn't be a show/story haha)

i think it's going to be stuck at a 6/10 for me until/unless it clears up some of these issues for me

i went back to the end of episode 3 to see if that guy was the same as the guy creeping around on the roof when the dude jumped. and i'm pretty sure it is. kisaki?

but what i find very interesting is when time travel boy walks past them at the end of episode 3, one of the guys says, "it's not like you get do overs". so i wonder if kisaki will try to "use" time travel boy as his own personal tool to change something

I was watching episode 4 of Tokyo Revengers and seen that originally Akkun stabbed Kiyomasa. I was wondering why this happened or why this was provoked. In the current timeline Akkun thought of stabbing Kiyomasa due to his violent assualt on Takemichi; however, in the original timeline, Takemichi wasn't involved in the fight. Moreover, Kiyomasa was not involved in the fight either; Takuya was meant to fight the random contender Kojima and was beaten nearly to death.
Jul 29, 2021 3:14 PM
Draken and now Akkun are dead. After this episode, its confirmed Takemichi remembers the events from the second timeline like Akkun being arrested after stabbing Kiyomasa so he never killed himself. Due Takemichi changed the timeline, Akkun was never arrested due he never stabbed Kiyomasa despite trying episodes ago.

The first and original timeline, Hina, Naoto, Takemichi, died. But who pushed Takemichi in the first episode if Akkun was still in jail after stabbing Kiyomasa?

They tried too hard to make Kisaki evil but I don't mind it so much.

I already expected that Takimichi from the past in some way told Hina’s brother to save him when he was pushed towards the train but I didn’t except Akkun was the one who pushed him damn

Man, things just took a nosedive didn't they? Takemichi's original goal of saving Hina has not turned into something way more complex. He now needs to save what seems like all his friends from the depressing reality of the current years. When I started the show I wasn't expecting it to expand like this - I was pleasantly surprised to find out that saving Hina wasn't the only plot thread. I'm liking it a lot so far.

Rip Akkun and with that the mission has changed from save Hina to save everyone. Seems like Takemitchy and Naoto don't get their memories rewritten as Naoto only knew what happened to Akkun in the future prior to the past change.

akkun killed himself what

akkun looks like the person who'd betray his friends but am still surprised that he's the one who pushed takemichi

so takemichi saving not only his ex, but draken and akkun too! which makes the story more interesting

Ouch, that ending scene must be tough for Takemichi, but at least he pretty much found the solution to all 3 problems. Save Draken. Even though he doesn't even know how he died or when.

Wtf was this scene during the fireworks to travel back in time, it made me laugh so much but it was ridiculous xDD anyway his friend's suicide was though, and Draken is also dead in this timeline, seems like he'll have to fix things

Hina's such a good girl. Takemichi failing to suppress his future adult self whilst in his middle schooler body lol; some off-hand comment that would only make sense in the future.

Oh, yeah, Naoto from the past knows about the incident in the future now but he doesn't know about the handshake trigger.

Never expected that it would be Akkun who pushed him. Things just got even darker. Akkun did as he was told, fearing Kisaki, but in the end, he felt guilty about doing that to his friend and believes in his time travelling ability to fix things. he jumped as a result.

Draken's death is what spiralled Mikey down the path and Kisaki is the one who really runs Toman now.

Oof, damn, why must it be like this, it was such a wonderful day for Takemichi, before it became downright horrific. He visit Hina's room, got complimented for his maturity by Hina herself and even got the chance to enjoy the fireworks with Hina... Before he screwed up by holding Naoto's hand, whoops, back to the present you go!

However, the past has changed the present. Now Akkun is a big shot within the Toman gang, the guy is massively successful, but nothing more than the dilapidated husk of his past self. He's no more than a drone of Tetta Kisaki, despite the wealth and position, under all that, he's depressed and petrified. Alas, after some brief joyous reunion with Takemichi and admitting that he's the person who pushed Takemichi into the oncoming train, he ended his life then and there.

Draken, Hina, and his childhood friend Akkun, all died, and I suspect the death count will increase, with his time leap, he could change the present, but only beating able to go back exactly 12 years from now meant that even then, he only has 1 chance to redo and save everyone. NOW, Takemichi has a real conviction to do this mission.

Watching the first few minutes of this episode, Hina's a keeper.

Also.. it's kinda sad knowing Akkun was the one who attempted to kill Takemichi in the present.

Also apparently Draken died, which is why Sano changed?

What I'm confused by tho, is the altered timeline? Because apparently Akkun could've stabbed Takamasa, but then.. Takemichi technically still altered that timeline, but then this also caused another branch in the timeline? So.. basically events that happened in the past, still caused an alternate timeline, but show up, but also change at the same time, even when they were changed? How does something that never happened even exist in the present then? Confusing.

I also like that now Takemichi's willing to save them all from dying because of his newfound ability. It's pretty interesting what he will do from here on out.

Man. I really am a sucker for time travel stories.

The butterfly effect seems to have saved Akkun from a jail sentence, but in essence, he has now sentenced himself to life.

"I wonder how things ended up like this". Akkun couldn't have worded it better.
Yeah, now that you mentioned it. One of his last words pretty much summed up the whole thing.

Damn... Those final minutes were very unexpected after all those cheerful moments between the MC and Hinata, including fireworks symbolism that was also actual fireworks. Akkun in present day isn't actually happy and it shows, even before... I wanted to think he faked it but no, he had it worse than Miguel from Cobra Kai (same Italian voice actor). So he joins the list of the people to save, hoping the timeline won't become too confusing.

Man the ending hit hard! Basically he has to make things good in the past if he wants to save Akkun's life now. I wonder why he pushed him though, was it because of how he stood up for his friends in the past? Hina's pretty tough for standing up to Mikey but I think it was a little stupid as well because as we've seen this gang can be pretty ruthless so I wouldn't doubt she would've gotten hurt if it was anyone else. The handshake was priceless though! I wasn't expecting it but also it's so common it's funny

Am i the only one who find the main character pathetic, annoying and useless most of the time. The first few ep is okey hoping that he'll grow soon, we're talking about group of gang fighting each other. Where can you dind a person involved with them who cannot even win a single battle. It's irritating to watch and decided to stop now at 14th ep. Sodisappoint bec. the premise has lots of potential.
