| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, the heroes are back at last and that imo, the theme song for this 5th season's first episode is catchy. Seriously, though watching everyone return is a refreshing sight including pretty much all the Class 1-A. Nejire is also back this season. Looks like they went in all out with the action for the return of this series. Lol, Bakugo still isn't shy to unleash his rage when he wants to. I'm kinda excited to see what's ahead. |

| Keep in mind that this is Episode 0, actual content will start next week! But without further ado... Welcome back Kohei Horikoshi and MHA into the 5th Outing! The hype never dies with increasing popularity. As expected, a canon recap episode to kick things off before the main crux with the 1st Cour: Class 1-A vs. 1-B. Otherwise, it's the same ol' fashion of getting back to recognizing each and every Class 1-A student and their quirks. The 3rd Years are even back. Seeing Mirio just floating in the river is just...funny. Nejire is still as cute and powerful...and please don't go home Tamaki, you're playing the villain role here (that Bakugo always likes to slaughter, friend or foe). Another great OST, but that's to be expected from BISH// and the peggies. Looking forward to more MHA greatness, and get ready, because things are gonna get more tougher in the Hero Society against the League of Villains (most particularly, Dabi). |

| Heard the first episode was original, so I won't say anything about the quality of animations or story or things like that. Though I am really excited to see these Class 1-A people again after so long. No one seems to talk about OP and ED btw. I loved both of them, but if I were to choose which one was better, the ED by the peggies was definitely in my favor. | Pretty good start to the season, had character introductions incase we forgot but I think it was alright. 7/10 episode Edit: I got super hyped when they announced the Peggies were doing the ending song a few weeks back |
| BNHA is back and once again they started with an anime original episode. I liked the previous seasons anime original starting episodes but this one was quite boring. Thou Bakugo being Bakugo was pretty hilarious. New OP/ED were both okay, I like the OP song more. Production value was good as usual. Looking forward to upcoming episodes. |

| Ok I think that episode was fine, animation was okay for a filler episode and the episode itself did a good job at reintroducting the characters. New opening seems pretty shallow and boring though, on the other hand I really liked the ending, it feels wholesome and fun. Also this episode made me laugh few times, so that's another positive. I'm also glad they brought Dabi scene that was cut from the season 4. |

| Gotta hand it to MHA, they somehow manage to make their filler recap episodes enjoyable. Of course, this isn't going to be as good as the actual season. It does bug me how they're treating the chronology of the post-High End fight scene. It's just kind of messy, ending a season in the middle of a scene, and I guess they're trying to work it out, but it's a mess of their own making. Hopefully, this'll just remain a nitpick like it probably will. |

| To be expected from MHA. A recap to the characters, next week will probably start off from where we left off. Apart from that, the ending scene got me excited for the next episode. Seems like there we some twists and turns. |

| I almost fell asleep while watching this recap. At least it made me remember some of the most forgettable characters in the cast like the sugar dude and the invisible girl, as well as how dumb most of the heroes' names sound. Apart from the very final scene, nothing really happened so whatever I guess. The opening and ending sequences are ok. |

| Thank you for reintroducing each and every student and their Quirks again lol. Nothing much to say about this episode since it follows the tradition of previous seasons by opening with a filler/recap. The post-ED scene and the preview did a good job of building excitement for what's going to come. |

| I struggle to see why some people call this a recap episode, when all we had in lieu of recap was like, what, 2 or maybe 3 short flashbacks. Everything else is a new episode, albeit definitely in a "business as usual" fashion: yet another drill, yet another destroyed area, yet another rescue.... Hell, having watched Heroes Rising just yesterday, and the Kesshi no Survival Kunren OVA earlier today, this one felt even more repetitive than it otherwise should have: more ruins, more dividing up into mostly the same groups (heck, even the Baku-Kiri-Denki threesome got together again, not that that's something to complain about), more inert civilian to rescue.... The Big Three was a nice addition though, to me Amajiki remains the single most relatable one with his aversion to people and being outside, so that's always an extra layer of lol, but then ofc he pushes through because he's just that much better. The OP I'm really indifferent about; but the ED does sound and look great, even just after the initial watch. One thing I really hope we won't see any more of is the introduction of every single character - it's the fifth damn season, everyone knows every damn UA student and permanent support (be it staff, pro hero or villain) by now. I'd also appreciate updated character cards in the middle: a new "profile photo" and some newer/random facts instead of the age-old basics about the age-old original characters would go a long way making them anything but completely pointless. Overall, a decent start to settle back into the universe after - well, fun little fact, we're just one week off from the anniversary of the end of s4 in 2020. Some bits of rust still remain, though, that really should be scraped off... |

| Solid reintroduction to MHA. Kinda tired of all these training episodes recently given the last OVA, but the preview for next week looks quite promising and I am really just glad to be back watching this series again. Hope this season turns out good! |

| Class 1-A is back! Felt like nothing has changed, kinda nostalgic. The way they introduce hero names is still the same. I think ED is better then OP. Hawks is cooperating with the villains??? Next episode looks really interesting, the secret behind One For All and All For One!  |

| Nice start to the new season with some hella awesome battle scenes and some fantastic comedy moments - I especially loved Bakugou going rage mode on Amajiki and blowing everyone up haha As a manga reader, I really love the anime original content because it's something we haven't seen before and it reminds us of where we're at with the story whilst reintroducing the important characters. Also, after reading the latest arc of BNHA I think the manga readers really needed this light hearted episode! |
