When Garf says he’ll kill Elsa, IIRC in the book she goes “and that’s why I love you” or something to that effect, whereas in the anime she says “my love will begin after I kill you” like most noob i always thought that satella is her mother....... but as fortuna said, that emilia's father is her brother which makes him a pure elf. these makes me thinks that minerva is her mother........ the way she said "bad girl" to emilia....... Yep. Also some stuff about Minerva backstory that makes it plausible. |

| Absolutely amazing episode, seeing all these simultaneous battles of physical strength, inner strength, and emotional strength. The final trial and the scene between Minerva and Emilia was sweet (probably more to it idk). The fight scene between Garfiel and Elsa was insane. Seeing Subaru and Otto light the Mabeast on fire was pretty lit. And the fight scene between Puck and Ram vs Roswaal was insane, especially that ending scene. Hope Ram is alive and I hope Puck is too. |

She's kinda creeping me out since the beginning. plus that regen thingy she got.. there's no way right she could regen all over her body after getting crushed by the pig??? nice job Garf. and.. .. Ram just got yeeted so hard by the man she loves. :( |

| Many impressive revelations. I didn't expect Elsa to be a vampire, now everything makes sense. But does she really have a sister? I almost cried at Ram's declaration of love. Poor Garfiel. The scene of Echidna kissing Roswaal, that explains everything. I had the impression that Minerva has something to do with Emilia’s mother, or she is the mother of Emilia. |

| What an incredible and stunning episode, i cant really think of anything to say. It was probably the best episode of the series so far, the story development, the fights, the feels... i absolutely love this anime and i feel bad for everyone who dropped it or is talking shit about it without having watched it. 10/10 |

| Definitely best episode in S2!!! Literally loved all of it!! Poor Subaru, he thought he could use dust explosion but something went wrong XD Too little fire, maybe? Garf VS Elsa was simply epic. When Garf twisted big hippo's neck, I stopped breathing for the hype. And finally Elsa died (hopefully). She obviously had an horrible past, but she showed multiple times that she couldn't be saved in any way, so it's better for everyone that she died (hopefully). Emilia's vision of the future was a total WTF, but the shadows in the light of Subaru and Rem at the end show that, maybe, those two will be the only ones that will always support Emilia and will prevent her from falling in despair. Ram & Puck VS Roswaal was maybe the peak of the episode. I still wonder how Ram exactly came into loving Roswaal. I don't really take the Stockholm Syndrome trope. I'm more inclined to think that he grew on her because he actually showed her his good sides (after all, we hear her voice during Emilia's vision where she says: "To think that the person I wanted to kill was actually so gentle...", she is clearly talking about Roswaal). I also wonder that if the disappearance of Rem from her memory has some kind of effect on this. I really don't think Ram is dead. Seriously, though... YOU CAN'T END AN EPISODE LIKE THAT!! | What. A. Beautiful. Episode. Like it wasn't already hard enough to choose the best episode of this cour, this one was truly an absolute masterpiece. Wondering how many events from the third trial will come true and also how vampires work in Re:Zero... Garf won't become one now, right? This episode will remain a masterpiece no matter the outcome but I sure hope Ram is still alive. Really glad there is so much focus on other characters in this season, a lot of character development and so many beautifully animated scenes. Can't wait for the next episode. I guess more emotional impact is in order but this time from Beatrice and Subaru. |

| Such an incredible episode!!! The Ram & Puck vs Roswaal part....I've no words to describe that. The dialogues, the timing of the flashbacks & Ram's confession, that amazing OST playing in the background, everything just combined beautifully & subtly to enhance the immersion, feels & emotions of the big moments to perfection. I've got no words to describe this, undoubtedly this was the absolute peak of Re:Zero. Man, this franchise is now pushing real hard to enter my Top 10, I'd be quite torn thinking about whether to replace any of my top 10 anime to make a place for Re:Zero after this season ends. |

| Holy fuck that was an amazing episode! And arguably one of the best episodes of the series as a whole. Emilia seeing those possible futures was scary, and I definitely heard some scary shit there that I don't wanna happen. One thing I really noticed there is Subaru telling to Reinhard the same thing Puck said to him in one of the unthinkable presents that Subaru experienced. There's no way Satella is Emilia's mother since her mother is human, but based on Emilia's interaction with Minerva, could she possibly be her mother or maybe just someone close to her mother? I don't know but it's a pretty interesting thought and that scene was also very touching. Garfiel vs Elsa was Godly like damn, Elsa's childhood was fucked and how she developed her thing for guts is also fucked. Judging from her pose before getting flattened, I am guessing she also developed a thing for necks probably lmao. Well, if that was the end of Elsa, R.I.P. you were a great character. Ram and Puck vs Roswaal was also fucking amazing, Puck was definitely referring to Hector when he said the way Roswaal talks is familiar, but I wonder how Roswaal developed Hector's mannerisms. That Ram confession though, was definitely just as amazing as the Rem confession. Goodbye tome of wisdom, I hope Roswaal is finally freed. But, fucking hell I hope Ram survived that last attack of Roswaal, fuck. Godbless White Fox, every episode this season has been 30 minutes, what madlads. Really looking forward to the next episode. |
