| I can finally have an appreciation for Garfiel. I was really finding him an obnoxious little d*ck, but now I finally understand what was wrong with him. Looking forward to have him in the party! INVISIBLE PROVIDENCE WOOHOO!! I really wasn't expecting to see it like this. I wonder how did it happen exactly. Was it just an accident? Did Echidna do something to trigger it? I'm not sure Subaru knew how to activate it. Can someone explain me what did exactly happen when Subaru stabbed Garf with the jewel? From what I understood, Puck was inside it, so he probably weakened Garf with his mana. By the way, did Emilia realize that, or she was too far away to hear Puck's voice? Good episode, anyway, but I really can't get used to waiting a week every time!!! 30 minutes per episode is still TOO DAMN SHORT!!! |
| I'm very satisfied and happy for Garfield's character development. Emilia meeting with Echidna is gonna be interesting. Can't wait to see dialogue between those two. |

I think the Garfiel trial was handled excellently. This was the part of arc 4 that really changed my perception of him and made me like him a lot more. Garf calls Subaru “boss” in the anime, but in the LN it’s “general” I can live with it tho. And now we’re at the end of volume 13. That introduction Emilia gives to Dona is the final page of the book and I remember having goosebumps reading it, because it shows how much Subaru has rubbed off on her. Next week, pain. In the WN he calls him Captain. Lmaoooo. |

| Damn, this was some episode. To be honest though, I wasn't too invested into Garfiel's character plus the 360-degree change in the end there felt a little off but this is still Re:Zero and that's a synonym for good quality. Depressing past however, I expected something touching and I got just that. It all turning out to be a misunderstanding about the mother's true intention and the harm from the outside world did lighten the impact but I definitely felt a tingle even then. Can't wait for the reunion between the siblings soon! Make way for the Invisible Providence, Subaru's finally got powers now! Lol. Interesting tidbit on the Witch Factor, definitely need more info on that. Patrasche's push though, attagirl xD. 13 year-old though, talk about a surprise. Also, peeping into the smooch, he's going to be one troublesome kiddo, Subaru lol. Emilia back at it but with supreme confidence now, how cute to see her trying to mimic a few of Subaru's antics. Glorious stuff! |

| No opening yet folks, as always. That power of Subaru's really surprised me atleast he isn't as powerless as before. Well at least Emilia didn't show out "Subaru" as she always does. Now that's what you call character development everyone! That said, Gar's character development in this episode was so good, it was really saitisfying to see him calm and act closely with everybody. That scene with all the notes from Subaru on the wall was hilarious and so very heartwarming, guess that was his reason for leaving Emilia. |

| Someone explain me how Garfiel became friendly. Is it because he realized his mom loved him actually and that he just wanted to believe that she hated him? Did he accept that and felt like a huge weight has been taken off of his shoulders? Is that why he was friendlier? Also, what role did Subaru play into his development? Please clarify, someone more knowledgeable. |

| First the kiss, now he got some new powers. Subaru slowly becoming Chad. Garfields character arc was resolved and it was somewhat emotional, but next week is probably going to be really crazy. |

| Great yet again, Garfiel's conflict concluded, him taking the trial and knowing the real reason why his mom left and that she actually loved him was pretty well done. Sadly no op and ed again, hope there is in the next one. Good to see you again Echidna! |

| A little bit of a let down after last week's episode. I keep expecting a bombastic event to happen to make the show shift gears, but it keeps not happening. The last scene though did a good job to hook and hype the audience for the next episode. Subaru starting to use his powers is pretty cool and his talk to Emilia about their kiss and their future was well done and not the usual cliche. Didn't care much for Garf's backstory, though I did have to pause in the middle to eat dinner, so that could have been a factor of why it didn't hit as hard as Otto's backstory. Hopefully something exciting happens next episode that can really drive the plot forward. |

| I'm confused and it's pretty hard to get invested in the characters... This episode raises some questions regarding Puck, Gar and his mother (was her death accidental?), and Subaru's witch factor. Glad that Echidna is back at the last minute. Been waiting to see her again |

| I loved the episode. Why do so many people grief for the OP/ED? Its just a waste of air time IMO. I skip them 90% of the time, isnt it the same for everyone? I assume you are just trolling or being sarcastic about it, but still :D After all, nearly 30 minutes content, it really takes work to do that extra mile, instead of just copy-paste the OP/ED and say job done :) |

While Puck can't go out of it because the crystal is of poor quality, he still sucks the mana of anyone the crystal touches. When Subaru stuck the crystal in Garfiel's skin, Puck sucked out all his mana. |

| So thats how Garf got his scar. But it really was entertaining seeing the tag team of Emilia and Subaru gradually force Garf back mentally. The confrontation between Subaru and Garfiel though really was gutsy on the formers part. Its cute seeing Garf getting a brief lap pillow from Ram though. Still despite being an enemy of Subaru and Emilia it was interesting seeing Garf confront his past and the truth that was hidden there. While it took a while its nice that in the end they managed to make Garf an ally. Subaru's reaction to Garf's age though was priceless. Its actually quite amusing seeing Garf use his default persona to talk to Subaru after though. But man those messages of support sure were impressive. Overall an interesting ep that combined excellent revelation via Garf's expansion and plot advancement via Subaru's fight with Garf. Now that Subaru's part of the trial is over next is Emilia's part. Welcome back though Echidna. Going by Emilia's words looks like her trial will be interesting. |

| Subaru used invisible providence and beat Garfiel. Garfiel's trial made me really sad. So that's why Subaru left Emilia that night, so wholesome. Great episode. |

| After many episodes of ear rape, Garf finally stopped shouting. I'm happy. I hope he never shouts again :') Emilia is a witch's daughter, eh? I wonder who it is. Is there any witch she resembles? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder..... With all the character development going on, if Subaru dies again I'll be extremely pissed so I hope they get out of the damn sanctuary already. |
