Your score for the anime watched: 6 Comment: Within a handful of minutes it was already obvious to me who Cinderella was (c'mon anyone who's seen more than 1 ecchi anime recognizes that pose from miles away). While that sounds (and was) disappointing, the rest of the show was funnier than I thought it'd be. The Cinderella stuff was shoved aside to flesh out the potential candidates before getting to the tea. The reveal itself wasn't that spectacular but that wasn't the point of the show to begin with. Yes there are convenient plot devices, yes it's predictable if you've seen ecchi before this, but it takes a handful of concepts explored only at surface level in similar works and gives them the (hilarious) spotlight whether they deserve it or not. Not a bad anime, if you can laugh at Darkness from Konosuba you're gonna have a field day with this one. (And the OP is quite catchy!) |
