| The show continues on its weird trend of having a lot of things happening, but nothing actually happening. The plot moves forward but it feels hollow and meaningless, in part because there is little logical connection between the events of one arc and the next. Shinra from episode 1 could've been sent on this same spying mission and that wouldn't have made a difference. It all seems random. They're skipping important character moments (not even development, just moments) in favor of moving the plot faster. I still don't really know any of the old characters (beside their individual gimmicks) and they're already introducing even more characters. Also, the trust the captain of the 8th is putting on the rookies and on Hibana wasn't earned at all, especially with him calling Shinra "their hero" when we've seen so little of their interactions. I feel like if they had spent a couple more episodes showing the main guys going on "normal" missions and interacting with one another instead of going straight to the more complicated stuff this transition would've felt more organic. It's the basic shonen formula and they're failing even at that. The art and animation aren't enough to compensate for these flaws anymore, as both have been steadily dropping in quality since episode 1. Unless something happens next episode to change my view of this show I'm probably going to drop it, and no ammount of shower scenes can change that. |

| Burns had a meeting with three guys from the first company, Foien, Rekka and Flam. Obi and Hibana agreed to work together. Obi decided to use a special program to send Shinra and Arthur as rookies to train to the first company (and investigate). Maki took Shinra and Arthur accompanied by Toru (fifth company) and Takeru (second company) to the first company, they presented themselves and Shinra challenged Burns to a fight, he agreed. Outside, Rekka started against Takeru, but Flam ended suffocating Takeru’s flames with ice, Burns challenged Arthur and Shinra, but he easily won. To be honest, the episode was boring, and felt kind of empty. I think the show is overusing the genres of superpower and action to exaggerate the storytelling, they just arrived to the first company, they don’t need to fight for anything, just excuses to have action, with this pace, the anime is gonna go downhill. Animation went a bit down by the way. Also, the backstory about Hibana, Iris and the convent was used to early, it could have been a middle story related to something greater. Disappointed, the show is using its bullets too early, I hope I’m wrong. |

| This was an enjoyable episode. Really liked it. Looks like we will be seeing Shinra's past come to light in more depth. Can't wait to see all the secrets revealed. |

| Ok... I thought Hibana suddenly falling for Shinra because of one punch was just an after-credits joke but it seems it wasn't. Man, she really has the hots for him. Anyways, quite mediocre episode overall. The plot is moving forward but it just feels... uninteresting. Perhaps it's due to how awful Hibana's arc was but this episode ended up being quite boring for me. And regarding the fights, they may have the best of animations (this episode was an exception tho) but after some episodes, I realized something feels off about them. I mean, the production values are there but the impact/hype is nowhere to be found. I hope this can change in the future tho. |

| The shower scene will be the most regurgitated fan service in this series. It has happened a couple times in the manga and honestly, it's cheap but it baits people, especially hormonal teenagers, really well. Glad to see Juggernaut or Noto here. He looks ridiculous in his uniform but I like his character, I guess he is kind of one of my favorites but nothing beats the head honcho of the 7th fire brigade (pecial Fire Force Company 7), who I believe will show up very soon after this arc and a few unimportant "fillers." Still, it was also cool to see Karim Flam's abilities, I think his ability is one of my faves in Company 1. I am also glad to see Tamaki again but that animation of her kicking Shinra in the back, their faces were blank again. This has happened a few times. |

| Pretty good episode again. I like the pacing, the bunch of odd new characters and the flashy action. Plot is pretty interesting as well. All those components make for a great watching experience and I can't wait for more. Fanservice needs to be less censored, tho xD |

| The writing in this episode was really bad. You first got that one guy talking like very odd that isn't funny. You got Hibana's confusing reasons for helping the 8th to a point she is setting up shop at their base and not her own. Like did that punch really make her go dumb? Then Shinra asking to spar the 1st dudes makes no sense as it doesn't really add anything and makes him look stupid. Does anyone edit the fucking scripts for these episodes? The dialogue is so oddly written that any time they try to explain something or get deep it comes off as a fucking mess. Can this show stop sucking? |

| converting heat energy to sound that turns into cold, is a preeetttyyy interesting thing they've done, I haven't done any research yet and I'd like to see if such thing actually exists. If anyone did their research (currently doing mine) I would like to see what you've found out. as for the Captains powers, deflecting that plasma sword is unbelievable. since so much steam was coming out, especially after "punching" Shinra, i suspect he controls steam. ohh how the manga readers wan't to laugh at me now. huehue I don't really like reading action manga as it makes the anime boring for me but who knows I may read it lol. |
| I enjoyed and hated this episode at the same time. The pacing is all over the place in this series. I did enjoy the fact that it doesn't seem like Hibana is gonna backstab team 8, but It could happen in the future, I don't know so I won't hold my breath on it. The animation quality spiked and dropped throughout the episode. Just as I expect from the studio. ๐ Overall, this series still has the potential to do amazing, the studio just needs to pull it together and make it work. |

| I enjoyed this episode a lot more than I have the previous couple. Hinaba, despite being an extremely flimsy antagonist last episode, is actually growing on me. I wonder why *cough shower scene*. The 1st looks like it has some strong members so looking forward to the next episode to see how this all plays out. 4/5 |

| -A nice, happy scene after a big battle. It's a trope I actually don't mind. >"You bet your ass I know an ass when I see one" That was legendary. Pure gold. I'm stealing this. -I'll admit that it took me a bit to remember who Captain Burns was. I mean it's been a month since we've seen him. I wonder if Shinra will get the information he's looking for. -This is kind of a weird point, but I really love the eye designs in this show. Arthur's glowy eyes, Princess Hibana's Nia eyes, and now Mr. Star Eyes. -I like Juggernaut's design. -The convenience of him being nicknamed Juggernaut over a completely different situation actually doesn't bother me. I mean convenient anime names are so common. This one just gets explained, so I actually gotta give them points. -The instrument guy's ability seemed cool at first, but that explanation was so stupid. -There were a few choppy animation moments, which really surprised me. The running animation a little past 18:10 in particular was really bad. Overall, it was an okay episode. Here's to hoping Shinra can find some answers. I think if Burns ever fights a major villain, we'll be in for some cool stuff.  |

| 7 episodes and i can say that the directing really feel different than our most shonen. 1. character interaction not too indepth and feel empty. character purposes is only tell the story, we dont care about them at all. 2. it feel like abunch of storyboard that not mesmerizing. jumping from event to event too fast. 3. something is missing in world building / premise / prologue. they set the world bulding too early it feel it cant be expanded anymore. |

| hibana's personality change is so futile it makes her even more hollow pacing is all over the place as usual, it made me sleepy for 90% of the episode in general; decent episode, tamaki was so cute with rekka, but at this point the only things that keep me watching are the graphics... and hinawa :> I believe the director doesn't know the basics of how to build a story like this, it would be better in other hands, at least it wouldn't be so disastrous, everything seems so empty and purposeless, but damn, I really wanted to like this show |

| Hm... still not sure what to make of this anime. This episode at least had something interesting happening (in the second half to be more precise). The 'exposition' during sunset was kind of... idk pointless? It explained nothing in detail and we still don't know much more than we knew last episode. Maybe I missed the important info... I was bored as hell. The fanservice... is not my cup of tea so I will overlook it gladly. Commander Burns shows up again and he is powerful, as to be expected from the commander of the 1st. Also the subtle name is so subtle it burns. Ha. I found him to be more interesting than the MC, hopefully he will have a role other than delivering exposition on the MCs backstory. Rekka is nice. Cheerful and likable. A shame we didn't yet get to see his fire-ability. I kinda ship him with Tamaki. Tamaki is ... fine. Why does she have to be the center of the clumsy fanservice? I somehow cannot open up to Shinra, the only thing about him that I am mildly interested in is his backstory. Arthur is annoying as hell with the whole 'knight'-stuff. Oh, the subtle nameing of characters strikes again. Iris, the sister is... okay. She doesn't really do anything besides being the basis for a harem around MC and saying 'Latum'. Hibana... has joined the harem. Yay. Maki remains best girl. Obi is at least likeable even though we still don't know that much about him. And Hinawa is my second-favourite character. I like how he uses his power, his constant annoyance and his face devoid of emotion. And his caps. Um, it could be that I am wrong but there are changes in artstyle during the episode? I some scenes it seems like a totally different anime. Overall it's okay. The investigation of the 1st will hopefully cast some light on the mysteries set up. Or at least provide some fun battles. |

| This lieutenant's speech pattern makes as much sense as his use of flames to create Ice. Bold, but likable. It seems that this show knows how to make up broken powers, like this hulk with skin so tough that he's literally an All-Might embodiment. I wonder how do flames play into it. |

| Decided to pick this up again and I must I admit this episode was quite wholesome. let us see how far their investigation will get. The chief probably knew what was up when allowing this programme. |

| After uniting with 5th division of the fire force, they still couldn't bring the reason behind the human flames terror. Their judgement conclude to another division. Its the first division. Wow, its fast, actually. Fortunately, they just only do some cover mission to spied on them. Yet, its not even good for them to take the whole goal alone. They need a backed up. So, yeah, the 5th division via princess Hibana took a led for sending the novice officer to their based that could learnt something on the them. A backdoor mission, as expected for the strong opponent like them. 5th novice was that gum-bomber pyrokinetic guy, with backup from the 5th ally, the second divisions of the fire force. Good job princess Hibana. The basic plan had been lauch. So, Shinra together with Arthur served as a student below the jurisdiction of the first division, while trying to uncoverring some information that their captain need. However, Shinra just messed up the plan. He wanted some fast movement and asked some questions that may revealed 8th true intentions. Funny that first division leader just accepted the challenges. I guess they just wanted to had fun. Lmao. To the short. All leader of the first division had an unique ability, obviously. Unfortunately, only one people that revealed his power. Even the captain Burns never revealed himself power for Shinra, as he just rekt him so badly in the grounds, like flash. Again. A good episode full of battles and funny moment. Some bath scenes kinda interesting as a fanservices part. Unfortunately, it couldn't bring more happiness cause the censor of the cloud really bugged there. Lol. So lets see how well their spying skill on the enemy stronghold until they opening some information that needed. Also, Tamaki revelations was quite good to give the scenes more attracted. Nice! |
