| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Misaka with that Gekota mask XD The festival continues and looks like we got more espers using their abilities to advantage. Seems everyone wants to use their skills to advantage. I think the most entertaining part was watching that Misaka clone in this festival. Her personality and speech mannerism just never ceases to amuse me. Touma is also back and I believe this is the first anime on-screen appearance between him and Misaki. |

| Main girl allowing MISAKA to have fun. Trying to break the balloon on the helmet using sand ball... Those guys w. weaker level rank use strategies to win girls w. stronger level rank. Main girl wasn't mad about MISAKA losing. Index's main guy! Misaki girl first interaction w. him, too. It seems like the bee he released made her unconscious, and was assigned by Misaki girl to get clone. |

| The Misaka clone performed well in the sports event but it seems someone was planning something with her. I guess Misaka needs to save her clone now. The event is funny to watch tho and Kongou's reaction was great. |

Kongou-san as always overdramatic, waiting for her action. Touma appears meeting Mikoto and Misaki. Pretty lucky =/ The action begins! |

| Damn Misaka Imouto was badass this episode, but since she has memories of fighting Accelerator 10031 times its to be expected.She also took a bullet for her Onee-sama. Also Misaki hugging Touma and 2 of them joking...it hurts my heart :( |

| Pretty good episode. Touma makes an appearance. Funny interactions between him, Mikoto and Misaki. Misaka clone sure enjoyed herself during the festival and she deserves it. Though that ending... Mikoto needs to save her. |

| I don't know if I like the New IB sound effect. Why is J.C Staff did not just bring back the old SFX ? This one is still better than the Index III one though. Otherwise, fine episode overall. Little quality drop except for few most important parts but it's fine this is not an episode who needs great animation, that's good if they are saving it for later ! | Cool episode! Especially more so, courtesy to Touma xD. Amazing how he hardly needed any time to leave an impression, lol. Yikes, he sure had a tough time clearing up though. And Misaka’s reaction to that plus the whole convo there was just pure gold and bliss. I can’t wait to see more of him in the future episodes! Cool to see Misaka’s mom around too. Not much of a role this episode sadly, however. But I’m sure we’ll get more of her so no biggies for now. Anyways, that aside, Misaka Clone pulling off some stunts there was awesome to see! Little do the aggressors know exactly what she has been through. Misaka then praising her was sweet to see. Sad that she seems to be in a pinch now though, I wonder what the antagonists are up to here. Kuroko kicking arse elsewhere and Saten plus Uihara doing their usual stuff was really nice to see, meanwhile. Props to Kongou-san for keeping up with that group and dragging along 7 along with her as well. |

| The balloon hunter match was something that I enjoyed when I read the manga years ago. Seeing it all animated was really good and fun. =) The Misaka clone did a stellar job. Thanks to the experience of fighting Accelerator 10,000 times, she used that experience in ease as she effortlessly dodged and eliminated a huge number of the opposing team. However, she was caught out thanks to that robotic mosquito ending her run, which also guaranteed Todiwadai's loss in this match. Time for the girls to enjoying scrubbing their toilets from now on! XD Touma makes his appearance at last and his interactions with Misaka never fail to bring a smile on my face. Shokuhou appearing made this scene even better when she grabbed Touma's arm and deliberately pressed her boobs into his back! Another thing to note is that Touma's Imagine breaker's SFX has changed again. It's nearly as good as the old one from previous Railgun/Index series before and is definitely better than the SFX used for Index 3. With the Misaka clone collapsing at the end of the episode, things are now getting interesting behind the scenes. Looking forward to next week's episode as usual. =D |
| This episode was good again! The beginning of the arc sure is slow, but the plot finally emerges! JC Staff knows when to spend time on animation for Railgun, and the most action packed scenes all look good. Sure there are some little drops in quality when nothing much happens, but not enough to waste the episode or take me out of the experience. The two highlights for me were the Imouto dodge scene and the Kamisaki scene. Looking forward to next week! |

| Can't blame the other school for their actions, if you know you're weaker than take the upper hand with a great strategy! I do have to say that I felt a bit bitter about the way they incapacitated the Misaka Sister.. She did get Misaka's praise though, which was deserved! Misaka with her Gekota mask is quite funny, such a fangirl! About time Touma showed up! How misfortunate to have Misaki rubbing against him... XD Well the ending scene proves why I never really trusted Misaki in the first place! The plot is advancing nicely now, I have always wondered if there's a moment when people will find out about the Misaka Sisters! Casual clothes Misaka is back for next week! | 10032 is so cute, I swear they better not hurt her. Damnit those sisters have been through enough shit. Watching this series makes me want to catch up with the LNs but I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of volumes. I can't decide whether I want to start reading from the beginning or just pick up where the second season of index left off. |

| They didn't even bother fixing the anime-only inconsistency of Kongou being "recently transferred". Just like they didn't fix her groupies "never having fought before" in the first episode (in the anime, they have). And that's fine, screw that anime-only stuff. |

Well they should notice since Misaka NEVER introduced him and yet Misaki called by his family name. Index III IB's sfx is one of those things that were changed for no fucking reason and nobody even knows why they decided that. Well not that anybody knows why Index III was trashed like that by the studio. |
| Who knows when the real reason that moves the whole story will come to light, some clues have already been given, but everything else is still shrouded in mystery, which intrigues me a lot. The narration is not boring this time, but pleasant and not obvious. Excellent drawings, animations, backgrounds were excellent, wow! |

Frankly, unless they step up their the game and the change the director and put some actual money into it, they can keep their shitty product. Index II was above an average adoption and it boosted the sales like crazy back in 2011-2012. Imagine if Index had a proper adaption that flashes out the story and characters. Dunno what the fuck they are doing in those anime studios to be honest. |
| OMFG That sister scene was sooo adorable. The look on her face when Misaka was saying "So what does it matter" as long as she had fun was beautiful. These are my absolute favourite scenes in Railgun. These adorable sister moments are the best. But dam what is that Mental out girl trying to do with Misaka's clone. They never get a bloody break getting kidnapped every 5 seconds. I swear the blonde is a subtle tsundere and actually likes Misaka but picks fights with her all the time because Tsun. But this event has got me confused on that. She better not lay a hand on Misaka Imouto otherwise she's immedietly going on my hate list. I liked her previously because of the idea that shes a tsun but if this next arc reveals otherwise then she's lost me. MISAKA SAVE YOUR SISTER!!!! (Again.) I can see what people meant by Touma's sound effect changing. Its pretty shit. Glad Touma had very little presense in this episode cause when I heard he was in it I was like "Oh for fuck sake go away." But luckily it was small. Got a good joke out of it too so oh well. Now that preview Misaka looks super similar to the way she did in the sisters arc (Which was by far the best arc) so Im really hoping we'll get an arc like that where Misaka does her own thing. Also can someone explain to me what all this "Cant stand her reaction when Touma came in" thing. Im an anime only and that blonde has had like 3 seconds of screentime so Im confused. Cause I took that scene as Misaki thinking "Oh she has a boyfriend" sort of thing and deciding to mess with Misaka but if people are reacting this way then theres clearly something else Im missing. |

| @DarknessReality TouMAN is one of the best characters from Toaru series. Especially he shines in NT in Othinus's arc. But since J.C. Staff never properly adapt Index, for majority of people he always be dumb MC, screaming about breaking illusions and "Fukou da!" Especially you'll will treasure him more, after abomination, which you can call some sort of protagonist, known as Kamisato Kakeru. Also can someone explain to me what all this "Cant stand her reaction when Touma came in" thing. Im an anime only and that blonde has had like 3 seconds of screentime so Im confused. Cause I took that scene as Misaki thinking "Oh she has a boyfriend" sort of thing and deciding to mess with Misaka but if people are reacting this way then theres clearly something else Im missing. This is also one of the moments, when Touma have a decent character development, along with Shokuhou Misaki. As it was already pointed out by some people, it was also from NT, volume 11. You could easily read it now without spoilering anything almost to the end, since it some sort of the prequel or spin-off. If you want a spoiler, i'll give a small one, since i'd read it long ago. |
