Nearest thing we had to an actual kiss. This was hands down the most romantic and boldest scene in the series. Nino's I love you in chapter 60 and Ichika's kiss were a close second though.
I am almost in fangirl mode. Miku finally crossed her fear of confessing. And really hard. Damn girl! I almost switched sides.
Most people out there would be happy if they die after reading this chapter.
Finally. 106 chapters later,we finally get that one thing we wanted. I'm still team Nino.
Next arc is going to be really interesting.

OK. Just read the Scanlations. But do tell me that it wasn't what I thought what happened in the last page. Did miku attempt to rape Fuutarou?

Also what did he mean by 'did you hold back this whole time too?'
Was he referring to the other quints in this statement or himself. Most likely it's definitely the quints since this is his 4th kiss till now and 3rd in 2 days (as of now). Though I believe that if Yotsuba waa hospitalized then her kiss has already happened. Itsuki is a mystery for me as of now.

I am more inclined to believe that Itsuki's kiss will be by accident or Fuutarou kisses her himself to confirm that all the sisters kissed him to figure out if he can find out who BK was.

I originally thought that maybe BK shouldn't necessarily be his future wife since they show that they went to the hot springs again later when they show a photo with their grandfather. However upon rereading I find that she specifically mentions the kiss happened 5 years ago.

I don't buy it. Sure, she was the first quint to come around to Fuutarou but I don't see how that translates to her being any more developed that the other girls when they also got just as much focus during their arcs. She might have had more time to reflect on her feelings but given that she had never acted on them until now while both Ichika and Nino have been more direct with their feelings, the first girl argument doesn't really hold water here. Also I don't how her popularity has anything to do with her being the most developed character.

Your only calling her 'main girl' because of your own biases, she had more screen time only because she was the first girl but even with the extra time she sorted her own feelings far later than the other girls. I am also talking specifically about their development in regards to their relationship with Fuutarou because the whole argument began when you disagreed that Itasuki would end up the actual winner. And finally there is no way other the fans of the other quints will agree Miku has the most development, again it's your own bias speaking.

there’s no bias I’m speaking purely from a narrative standpoint and yes there are fans of other characters I’ve seen it plenty of times . I even saw a huge nino stan admit that Miku blows the other girls out of the water in terms of development . You just refuse to see the facts and look at the story and analyze it probably because you don’t like Miku . Miku is the closest thing to a main girl this series has , is the most constant in the narrative and has the most development and progression as a character especially over Itsuki which is why Itsuki won’t win nor has a chance to win

^All I know is if the bell-kisser is the bride, then thebride is neither Ichika nor Nino. The two hints were hesitance and disguise for the two quints respectively. Negi will have to do a lot of convincing to make the bell-kisser either of the two because the bell-kisser is the furthest from what we have been shown in the oldest two sisters.

Well Miku's going to win this if Negi listens to the popular vote among fans. Nino and Yotsuba are the only other ones that have a remote chance, Ichika and Itsuki are the least likely for sure.

I don't want Negi to go with popularity just for the popularity. Miku should win because of her character/merit and how it has been set and her struggles. The only one I wouldn't mind winning over Miku is Yotsuba. I will be okay with Nino as well, perhaps. Not sure about the other two (which aligns to popular opinion).

Regardless, as far as popularity goes, Negi has failed time and again to balance the popularity as he intended from the start. I have been hoping it would be much closer.

If Miku doesn't win with her popularity remaining the same until the end, it would feel like Negi have failed to change majority of the fans' opinion unlike TGWOK, Ykt7nM or SHnS had managed on the main heroine/winning girl (all of which had major change in opinion during or by the end of their respective stories). Who knows, maybe if Miku doesn't win, Negi will create a complete new manga based on a character like her set to win from the start. We have seen that happen in the past with works from few other mangaka.

Why are you convinced that Miku will win because she's the most popular? A writer doesn't give a damn about the most popular character. Miku is not the main character, all sisters are equally important. At this point the most likely to win, for me, are Itsuki and Yotsuba. Itsuki's arc will be the last and will change the cards on the table, as happened with the Yotsuba's one.

Trying to disregard popularity is being a bit to optimistic imo. Sure Negi wants to tell his story, but I can also bet he wants to keep earning that bread and picking the least popular options can potetionally anger the majority and hurt sales. So the safe and logical option is to go with the fan favorite which is Miku and in her case, she's the favorite by a landslide, so her not winning could lead into a huge uproar and a lot of backlash.

9/10 times the most popular girl wins, so who knows this could be that 1 out of 10, but I just find it unlikely. And Negi could have always intended for Miku to win in the end, which could also explain why he didn't try harder to have the other sisters be at her level(though it felt like he tried a bit with Nino and Yotsuba).

But this is just your taste, YOU think that the other sisters aren't at Miku's level, but I assure you that Miku is the same as all the others. No one is worthless than her so this thought that you have of miku as "goddess" is a bit excessive.
The manga you have been following for years will be nice even if it won't be your favorite to win.. A writer doesn't write to please others, but for himself.
