| And its over. Honestly, it was a pain in the ass to watch this season, its worse than the average S1, even the three-girls-stories feels boring here. The only thing I appreciate is that it is not popular. Repetitive, uninspired and boring. 2/10 for the anime. |

| This was such an enjoyable watch. I love this series! Truly hope they do a season 3 adaption. It'll be great. the wholesome was sometimes too much to take. Last episode was a nice and cute ending. FINALLY THEY DID IT. So I cannot wait for news for season 3! |

Truthfully, thought that Nishikata would run up from behind to grab her hand from behind, but either way not disappointed with this not date. ;) Kimura-- my boy. | Kimura is best bro. Finally at least we got hand holding, very lewd stuff. They were adorable, though I expected Takagi to be blushing a bit more as well at that part. I'm sad they didn't adapt that certain chapter in the end, and even though it was teased a bit during the summer camp. Still, that means there's hope for a third season eventually, and that might be why they considered not adapting it just yet. Or perhaps as an OVA, though it should be in the main anime. Overall, once again just like with the first season, I super adored this show. Not many anime can make me basically keep smiling through every single episode like a maniac. I do get why some people are bored of the repetitive nature of the show, and can't see the subtle way they get closer to each other every time. This is the entire point of the show. Knowing that chapter from the manga and the spin-off certainly helped me as well, but even without it I just love how wholesome this series is. No unnecessary love triangles that plague 90% of anime with romance in them, just pure fluff and adorable characters. Sometimes I do wish we got a bit less of the side characters, but even they are generally just fun to watch, be it Kimura and the glasses guy, the three girls, Mano and Nakai or even the newish girl and that other guy. And these are at least worked into the main story segments, which I feel like only add to it feeling more alive. As did the first season, this gets a 10/10 from me. A rare score, reserved only for favorites of mine that feel truly special to me, and which I could rewatch countless times, as I will most likely do as well. |

Really? Are u trusting MAL scores? I barely heard it being mentioned when it was ongoing unlike S1, this show was never popular in the first place. The fact that it has a high score is cuz ppl who didn't like s1 stopped watching or dropped the show so they never started s2. I could say that Grand Blue was more popular even when s1 of Tagaki-san was airing in 2018. |

| Cute start, with Nishikata being nervous, and then his face when Takagi appeared, he was staring for sure. Lol when these elderly already called them a couple right after Nishikata was sure only kids would say something like that about them. Naturally the first place they visit, someone did already consider them being on a date. ;-) So nice that Takagi gave away the goldfish they caught. The feeding scene was cute, he just chickened out at the last moment, so close.Time starts to run out for Nishikata doing at least something that people would do on a date... Nice to see Kimura being a good wingman and give the couple some privacy. Takagi's voice when she got separated from Nishikata, so well done, you can hear the fear and disappointment, instantly gets you, not gonna lie. And that look on her face as she was looking for him while the fireworks had already started. My poor heart.. But Kimura comes to their aid again. And Nishikata running to her, shows he wants to be with her, then taking her hand, so they would not get separated, seals the season perfectly. |

| Kima, you goddamn bro! MVP of this episode for sure, the master of oshiri is not to be taken lightly. Finally after two whole seasons Nishikata managed to take her hand, took him long enough. But it was a fun ride nonetheless. This season was just as good as the first one, maybe even a bit better. Romance was really done well and not too cheesy. The characters were all fun to watch and the comedy was on point. Only bad thing I can say about it is, that it might've been a bit too boring at times, but only very rarely. Maybe we'll get a third season at some point or they adapt the adult version, I'd love to see that. 9/10 |
| I can't. Please the wholesomeness and cuteness was TOO much :') Nishikata and Takagi were SO FUCKING CUTE!! Gotta give my man Kimura some respect. Dude was the fucking MVP imo. Didn't interfere with the date and finally help Nishikata and Takagi get together. I hope the 3rd season drops son. The trailer is already out! Also there's a movie coming soon! |

| Kimura the fuckin MVP of this anime So our little flustered dude starts out being usual in denial, embarrassed self. But he pulls through in the end for one home run of a finale. Funny story, before starting this 2nd season, I watched the teaser for season 3 which is to air soon early next year hopefully. And in it was that scene, Nishikita finally being a man and taking takagi’s hand. I was like: “man, THAT happens in season 3??! We are in for one massive treat.” And then that exact event unfolds before my eyes. It was never supposed to be in season 3 I realized, it was the finale of season 2. I hope you can understand the holy shit moment I had. Pretty surreal. Well those 2 seasons flew by in what felt like was a instant. I am ready for season 3. Or am I? You tell me. No spoilers of course, but if you can tell me if I’ll be shook by what may come in season 3. Because season 2 had me shook. And I’m ready to get shooketh even more. |

| First off feeling the festival spirit and as I expected Takagi wearing a yukata to the festival looks good on her as well I just love to see them have fun and of course the occasional teasing by Takagi and the competitions that they have waiting for the fireworks display to start I just love hearing Takahashi Rie's singing so much and if you thought Takagi looks so Stoic well sometimes you can feel her sadness and blushes from the screen, Kimura is just a brother that you can't separate from another he's that guy who you can rely on keep your friends Nishikata they're there for you, And finally, they hold hands that's just wholesome. Wow I'm just amazed this season that it felt more different from the first one and how it progressed more than the first with some teasing up to some heartwarming moments this one gets a can't get enough of Takagi's giggles /10. |

| Meh, same old boring and repetitive formula as in season 1. A slightly bit more romance-focused, if anything. 3/10 |
| Great grand finale, I loved the festival vibes and the outfits as well. Kimura 'The Butt God' saved Nishikata (and the entire show by doing so), and Takagi's little voice crack after her hand got held by Nishikata was way too cute. I can't wait for the 3rd season to start! |

| So cute omg. Our boy finally managed to hold hands yaay! Takagi san looked visibly flustered and happy :) Let me tell you they are already going out lmao they just don't call it going out explicitly. Going to summer festival together, holding hands, walking home together everyday, thinking about each other all the time. Nishikata doesn't realise but they are already dating each other lol, now all that is left is for them to start calling it dating. We have come as far has explicit hand holding this season, couldn't be more excited for third season, it must have good things in store for us considering it took almost two years for a new season. 10/10 anime, very cute, very wholesome, I can't believe I'm saying this but this could actually be better than Komi can't communicate. I loved this anime. |

| great great episode i reaally do love how it focused on takagi and nishikata especially for this one, i mean it always has but usually there were a lot of times where there were a lot of reactions from their friends. this time its really focused on them. definitely enjoyed this one better than the last, slow but sweet pacing was just right for me. that ending was really nice too. even more excited for the 3rd season now !! |
| A summer festival episode as a finale just can't go wrong, ever. Took a while, hmm... 23 episodes for record but finally Nishikata mustered up the courage to hold Takagi's hand, thanks to THE DUDE Kimura. Can say for sure atleast the romance part was a bit more this season compared to the first one, but not like there was some stark contrast between the two overall, as yeah that's just how this series is. So 8/10 for me this time around, and now to the ongoing third season. |

| This just keeps getting sweeter. After the first season, I was ready for another 12 episodes of the usual back & forth (which would've been alright). But this season really upped its game on the way Takagi & Nishikata are getting closer. Very subtly & steadily, romantic progress is being made without taking away from the overall tone of the episodic teasing antics. S2 also tips the hand on Takagi's poker face a bit more, which works very effectively since her point of view is seldom shown. And when it is, we don't get any insight into her inner thoughts. 8/10 |

| i was hyped, and it didn't disappoint (it was hard to go wrong with a japanese carnival summer festival and this was no exception). Nishikata actually lost immediately considering the comments of the two senior citizens, but it still happened "officially" soon after at the stand. "Not a date". Who do you think you are, Miguel from Cobra Kai? i was going to be lightly pissed off if Sanae didn't join her friends into wearing yukatas, and obviously she looked great. Kimura as a unexpected hero was satisfying to discover, expected the montage with all the supporting characters looking up at the fireworks and all's well what ends well, Nishikata actually didn't rejoin Takagi in time but made one step beyond and took her by hand. Nice, sweet, heartwarming, take your pick. i'll probably go on a indefinite hiatus with this series, but the second season was more of the same in the best possible way, especially for the presence of italian dub, and damn, i needed escapism more than ever right now with such a sweet show like this one. 8+/10 |
