| Everyone suddenly turns to stone for 3700 years, or rather get a stone coating, until suddenly it breaks apart from two high-school (?) students. One genius, one ordinary. They decide to rebuild society, firstly trying to figure out how to break more stone shells using the scientific method. The show isn't super serious, it is based on a 週刊少年ジャンプ manga after all. I really enjoyed it so far, it seems like it will be a fun journey progressing through technology and uncovering the mystery of the cause of the stone. A perfect amount of comedy so far. I really like the art style and feel of the show. Pacing was obviously very fast for the first episode, but I assume it'll slow down. |

So if you want to have the replacement rate of 3 babies per couple (or more precise per woman) the woman has to start making in the early 20's at most. 30-3x3=21. If you read how testosterone and estrogen works you will see these biological realities. About matriarchy there is a reason all societies that have this are at tribe level and generally poor and in bad condition. Women cannot lead, they are not biologically fit for this. Every time a woman took charge for a longer period of time things went to hell fast for whatever she lead. A good example is how Freydís Eiríksdóttir managed to destroy the viking colony in N America by killing women she was envious of. 6. If a woman asks you to shave she does disrespect you. |

| One of the best looking (not animated, just looking) shows I've seen in a while, particularly the background and character design. Also, one of few very anime with an original and interesting premise, first anime I've seen in a while that is genuinely intriguing. |

| Pretty bland and boring. Don't care about the 2 main characters (who one of them is a "Kineshi Hairo" rip-off) or the "funny" aspect of the show (because in a credible story, they would probably show more concern about the end of the world or be insane after 37000 years of not being able to move but still think). Maybe it's gonna get better but for now, I don't understand the "hype" around it. |

| wow... quite a lot of people are praising this show... I mean I didn't really enjoy it? like people are praising the pacing, but I thought it was far too rushed, the taiju guy was extremely annoying and senkuu's character design is awful. People are also praisng the soundtrack and animation, both of which I thought were average.... also like some bits were just ridiculous, end of humanity and everyone has turned to literally stone, you wake up and the first thing you think about is the girl you had a crush on...? not your family? humanity? survival? you would be pretty much chilled out?? like bro taiju literally was completely fine, not even scared or stressed or... anything? also him thinking about her for 1000 years...? that guy counting for 1000 years...? like yes it's fiction but its just at the point where its stupid and so unbelievable I cant take it seriously at all I don't know, I don't wanna hate but I just really didn't like it. I thought I would come onto the forum and see everyone else thinking the same but im genuinely surprised that so many people are super hyped and on board with this. i think that'll give it one more episode, i've heard that this series does get good from manga readers...? I don't know man, im surprised so many people are enjoying this lol |

| Not the best, but certainly not the worst. Probably my favorite thing so far from this season (I haven't checked out Vinland Saga yet, but I hear it has quite the following). The animation is nothing too noteworthy. It was made by the same studio as the guys who do JoJo's so if you like the art style from those shows you'll most likely be into this. I'm personally not a huge fan, but it looks fine overall with virtually no noticeable dips in quality. The story premise is pretty unique all things considered, allowing our protagonists to build and explore a post-apocalypse setting using their creativity and wit. Has more than enough potential to be interesting in the long run. My favorite aspect of the show so far are the characters. They're nothing too unique or interesting on paper, but have enough immediate chemistry for me to be invested for the long haul. Senkuu as the stereotypical mad scientist with a heart of gold, and Taiju as his witless companion. It's nothing revolutionary, but a classic combination nonetheless to explore this new and unique setting. Overall, 7/10 would recommend. |

| Damn, it surely was a great start, it went beyond my expectations! Seenku and Taiju made an excelent duo, and i love their chemistry, some funny moments aswell! Hope they free Yuzuhiral fast cause i want to see Taiju happy! xD Animation quality and soundtrack are really great, and i like how the world is settled, starting a civilization from zero! And also this pace is really good for me! I am really hyped to see more of that! |

| It's episodes like this that remind me why I love anime as a medium, I'd probably call it my favourite even if I've been watching it less often lately, this kind of viewing is great! At the start, when the disaster began, I will admit, I wasn't sure if it was tragic or hilarious, awesome or stupid, but then, as soon as we see the big oaf wake up, it gets really strong, I think. I was getting lots and lots of Breath of the Wild vibes! The backgrounds were really beautiful, and the art and animation in general, was enjoyable. I'm a bit worried the following episodes will be a letdown in comparison! I found this to be fun, emotional and grand, despite it just being the two characters doing pretty small scale stuff. I'm afraid the introduction of more characters, with one likely being a villain of some sort, will feel unnecessary. The opening at the end with all these characters, I'm worried it will be like the author is going to be going over a "this has to be in the story" checklist, when they've already found a really effective way of writing a post-apocalyptic story. For me, this episode was able to get that tone of being both simple and grand, which I really loved. I'm sure the next episode will be great though, and I look forward to it. But I lowkey just want it to stay focusing on the Senku and Taiju. Was admirable to see how strong their sheer willpower was! |
