I haven't seen a real bad one as I tend to avoid those that I don't hear good things about/ don't like the first view here on its mal page but the worst one so far would be soukyou no fafner or soukou no strain(the last parts suck big time but it has naked so its still worth something ^_^)

I usually drop series that I don't like, but if there's a thing that makes me want to break the screen, is any "adaptation" of a Ken Akamatsu manga. It seems that since his work is so popular, the producers think they can do any kind of garbage and the fans will still watch it anyway.

Wow. If that isn't one of the most deceptively incorrect things I've ever read. SO many series have very deceptive first episodes, and you need to give at least 2-3 episodes a chance. Very normal in anime for things to not pick up right away. A lot of excellent series had very 'poor' starts.

I really didn't like Love Love? too much. It was just stupid and the guy was a real pervert.

I didn't like School Days either, I don't think that I've ever watched an anime before where I truly wanted the main character to die. O.O

Not to say they arent worth watching, but I felt the most painful anime I have ever watched was either Beck or FLCL. They were both boring and overrated, so they lead me to think I would enjoy them. Wrong.

X/1999: The Movie, for being extremely uncaring towards its characters (in other words, they get killed in the coldest ways possible), having one of the most 'WTF' endings in anime history, and having a lead that's so whiny, one-dimensional, and emo, that I want to pull a sword out of my own body out of despair of having to watch his escapades. The animation can't even compensate for the flaws in this storytelling.

Runner-up: Eiken (*pukes*)

Well, if it can truly be classified as an anime and not a blasphemous, repulsive, vile, terrible, horrendous, awful, detestable, pathetic, atrocious parasite unleashed upon mankind, I would say bobobobobo.

For the worst anime I watched; I never saw Air, so I'm gonna say Kanon 2006

I'd have to say Deltora Quest, they took something great and totally butchered it. The books were quite addictive although short, but the anime was terrible.

I liked it at first but Makoto turned out to be a real jerk. Or at least I thought so.

I found that in this particular show the story is dependant on the personality of the characters, if Makoto wasn't such a jerk, the anime would have been quite boring and the ending would have been unjustified imo.

....I would have to say Inuyasha. Tried the first manga volume and DVD, but... I simply don't see the appeal.

That, or one of those game-based anime for kids that pops up on CN every few weeks and sucks beyond all levels of suck. They pretty much Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh/Digimon/etc. knock-offs, anyway.

No, you're pretty much right. I really like the manga, and the anime is only good for the unintentional lulz.

Digimon is really nothing like Pokemon or Yugioh.

You're just grouping them based on what you liked when you were younger aren't you?

Landlock, the dub and sub to it was just god awfull. Even watching it muted the show sucked.

As far as series go, I really thought that The final season of saiyuki has to take that bar.

I can honestly say that I really don't hate any anime, I like everything I have seen so far.
