| Kokoro could at least have given him an explanation, like "I'm sorry I hurt you but I should never have made that promise in the first place". Instead she's completely ignoring him. And that's what bothers me the most since it seems to go against her character. And wth is up with Mitsuru, being stuck on a broken promise they made when they were like 5 years old.. |

| It would be great if Mitsuru to die, and Ikuno x Futoshi would be good partners and Kokoro kill yourself, because she is powerless bitch. That would be the best ending. :) |

So watching ongoing stuff is kinda rare for me. Sure, great, interpret 'I'm not in a rush' as 'I don't want story'. Very nice, ignore my preferred pacing for this series and claim something ridiculous. Fine, be like that. |

| Oh wow, this was the last thing I was expecting from Kokoro. This episode also introduced the theme of homosexual love with Mitsuru wanting to pilot with Hiro and Ikuno with Ichigo. It didn’t work out I would dare to say that this episode had the best action sequences. I mean, damn that animation was 10/10 Seems like I’m one of the few who enjoyed this episode |

| This episode was certainly interesting to say at least. Mitsuru's development doesn't make me like him that much more, but I do respect his commitment. He's stubborn, but Kokoro did a good job at changing his mind. Although she did harshly NTR'd Futoshi, whose rage was surprising, but also amusing at the same time. I do sympathise with him that Kokoro breaking the promise she agreed with him was harsh, but it was for the best in terms of getting Mitsuru and Ikuno compatible again with different partners. Speaking of Ikuno, she's still mysterious, but because of that, she's pretty hard to even like as a character at the moment. Her lack of enthusiasm does annoy me a bit. =/ For the action part, it was impressive. The animation was mostly smooth and fluid, which made the battles more exciting. =) Apart from that, it was a pretty decent episode, but not that great either. |

| Came back after a day and the amount of misogyny and homophobia in this thread (and others) is astounding. There's no "NTR" here. Futoshi's feelings have been one-sided all along. One cannot possibly imagine a world in which a girl has to reciprocate whatever feelings a guy throws at her. To think otherwise is to essentially equate women as objects with no independent thought. Kokoro left a situation in which she likely understood the feelings to be non-mutual, even if the exit was a bit abrupt. And Futoshi pretty much demonstrated how immature his feelings were when he tried to punch out Mitsuru for a decision Kokoro made. Which is fine. They are teenagers. They're not supposed to handle situations 100% correctly and gracefully. But the amount of criticism and demeaning comments targeted at Kokoro (and women as a group) is a major reason why anime remains somewhat out of mainstream. And Ikuno's not done anything to deserve the shades thrown at her for liking members of her own gender. I don't understand how a character with basically 1% of the screentime can attract hate just by virtue of her orientation in 2018. Even more interestingly, I don't think I saw anything against Mitsuru when he too could be homosexual, which suggests there's even a gender bias in homophobia. |

For a betrayal and heartbreak it could have been way worse. He didn't force kokoro to stay with him or anything, he even saved her and made mitsuru promise to protect her. |

| I feel like the writers are really trying to make the supporting cast interesting with all these individual character episodes front-loaded with melodrama and adolescent inter-personal strife. It's not working for me. I feel like it's some combination of predictability, awkward pacing, and lack of any real tension that carries beyond the climax of the weekly episode. The biggest laugh-out-loud moment was when Kokoro's berserk mode lasted all of one second - which of course was what they conveniently clipped for the trailer. Really "subverted our expectations" there, oh boy. I have no issue with slow pacing or spending time on characterization over action, but the execution here is just sloppy and unoriginal. |
