What's even more suspect is that the VHS release of "Asobou! Hello Kitty" actually omits the animation corner. If it was really original animation they'd keep it in, but since it uses old OVA footage, they'd want to leave it out so people would buy a separate VHS tape just for each individual animation episode rather than buy a "Asobou! Hello Kitty" tape which has several episodes on it (and theoretically would have several animation corners on it). Clever marketing tactic. We don't accept art school works unless the director has done something important. And do it for every student for ever semester till he retires. Obviously an art school animation's program is going to hire industry professionals to teach the class. Y'all want to do this rodeo for literally every art school in japan with an animation class? @valoon, the air date for Kigyou Senshi Arslan should only be the release date of the 2nd DVD/BD volume of the anime (Oct 5, 2016). Because that's the one that contained all 6 eps of the special (which is kind of odd since we're so used to shorts being released all volumes of the main show but for some reason they decided to put them all on the 2nd disc only and call it a day). Web release dates should only be mentioned in Background or More Info if they're kept at all (Comet Lucifer: Garden Indigo no Shasou kara mentions it in the Background while Himouto! Umaru-chanS has it omitted completely). |

For example in Taiiku Day we see the Tiger and Lion do kendo and then do a judo-roaring contest. In Doubutsu Mura no Sports Day there is no kendo present, it only has the judo-roaring contest. In Doubutsu Mura no Sports Day when the bear is doing the high dive her swimsuit gets caught on the board and rips off, afterwards it goes to the hippo climbing the platform to do his jump. But in Taiku Day we don't see her do that jump and it just the hippo's segment instead. And so on. Both versions also have different title cards with different full titles, that's why the anime entries are named differently and have different Japanese text. Because each entry has unique footage to itself, released with different title cards and titles, and is historically documented as such as two different anime--we have it represented the same here on MAL. |

| Sooo I just realized that Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai is currently listed as 12 episodes and that it's supposed to end July 1st. However, that would imply that after this week's episode (#9), there should be 3 more to come, but there are only 2 weeks' worth of episodes left My suspicion is that the recap episode that aired a number of weeks ago instead of the regular episode (4.5) has not been taken into account yet, meaning that the total episode count discounting that one (which has its own separate MAL entry) should be set to 11 rather than 12 |
