| Well I'm still still going to play this regardless, but hearing all of this negativity is really disappointing. I'll probably end up liking it, only because I just want more Mass Effect, but my expectations have dropped sharply sad to say. |

| So apparently if you play as gay male you can't get the romance achievement, because it requires THREE romances and gay male options are limited to two. Hilariously, straight male has the most options in entire game(five) and most squad-mate romance options. Likewise Squadmate romances are limited to either bi(non-human at that) or straight too so if you play non-hetero character, be it male or female, you are essentially limiting your choices to more subpar romances with less screentime. What's more LGBT romances have mostly shorter or more ambiguous sex scenes instead of more "raunchy" hetero scenes. Gay male romances are literally a fade to black. Then there's this:  Which is literally:  Yiiikes, the flaws of this game's design keep rearing their heads. Its sad too because Bioware is like, one of the only few studios who are actually bothering to be progressive and not homophobic. |

Canonically though she is not autistic as despite being the most perfect example of a socially-inept autistic woman the developers have not said that she's a socially-inept autistic woman...yet. |

| So, I just got my pre-order. Currently, riding the train home. And guess what, for PC, it's just the code, no discs. Typical. The only silver lining is that I got myself the Collectors Edition die-cast of the Nomad. Not part of my pre-order actually, I had to ask the EB staff to show me both the die-cast and remote-controlled Nomad. Chose the die-cast because it actually looks good. Usually game figurines or models in these special editions are shit. |

| So glad I learned my lesson with ME3 and didn't preorder this. I also returned DA:Inquisition for a refund, didn't do it for me either. Loved Origins and DA2 though. |

| I don't remember Dragon Age Inquisition being broken, and my brother bought that day one and I watched. Maybe it's because I only watched and didn't play that I didn't notice the bugs, but I don't really believe that it was broken at launch since it was received quite well when reviewers reviewed it. |

| Seems like they've completely fucked up character animations and dialogue is quite poor. Not a big surprise considering EA's all-reaching hands on this as well as original staff members absent from this game but the gameplay looks quite good, possibly the best in the franchise. Still kind of sad though. They said they were working on facial animation fixes? So I probably wouldn't purchase this til they made enough patches for releasing quite obviously a game that hasn't been edited, tested, or refined as much as they would've liked. |
| I wonder how many of the haters actually played the game or just looked at the early access feedback. Because seriously most of the negativity I've seen is just... plain baseless once you actually get into the game. Yes, there are some bad human facial animations, yes, there is some corny writing, and yes some of the exploration feels a bit hollow, but really these issues are nowhere even remotely close to being as frequent as social media seemingly makes it out to be. The first few hours of the game are by far the worst ones; once you get off Eos everything starts opening up in the same way the previous Mass Effect games did and isn't really any worse in terms of development or exposition. And the animation issues are really only an issue with humans; the aliens all look fine, and as the game progresses to other planets, you'll find yourself talking to aliens 95% of the time so this becomes a non-issue regardless. And in terms of combat, it's definitely the best game of the franchise to date Idk, there certainly are some problems with the game such as occasional sound bugs, awkwardly placed "Flirting" dialogue choices with the crew without much build-up for them to feel appropriate, and some other minor stuff, but really as a whole the game is a ton of fun to play once you get into it and not really much worse than the original trilogy if you ask me. Granted I'm not actually finished with the game yet so I can't speak for the whole thing but I'm maybe 30 hours into it by now or so and so far I think it's pretty great. Certainly not perfect mind you, but a hell of a lot better than the internet has seemingly made it out to be This was a pretty good overview of the whole dilemma I think and why it's been getting so much unjustified hate and misleading information: |

| In the end they decided (just a week before launch) to not dub the game in my language and this is a huge blow since i enjoyed the previous trilogy dubs. I'm seriously thinking to not buy this. |
