| i hope pekoms is okay, he’s a real one and i liked him even back during fishman island arc sanji reveal, the north blue strawhats (and strawhats in spirit - looking at you, law) have had it rough but it seems we’re about to find out just how rough sanji has had it can’t be an anime fan online without having absorbed one piece spoilers via osmosis, but it’s kinda fun to wait for the reveals and see the foreshadowing too. glad i’m truly on my way to being current with the series! |
| I did not remember Sanji was born in the north blue. I need to re-watch his backstory now. He was on the ship and the old chef saved him. Was that family ship or did he run away? So he arranged to marry big mom 35th daughter (my god that is a lot). This makes me think royal family arranged marriage vibes. So maybe he some-type of royalty. Would be wild if he a celestial dragon. I did love his loyalty and belief in Luffy. Sanji very interesting character right now. This is major Robin water 7/enis lobby vibes that there more to him then we thought. But unlike Robin at water 7. He been so loyal and with us so long it’s shocking to have this come up over 700 episode he was introduced. Though the wanted poster saying “wanted Alive” is making more and more sense. |
| Another disappointing case of the the Strawhat crew suddenly being completely useless without Luffy or Zoro with them. With Sanji, Brook and Chopper, they should've had no problem taking out all those fodder guys. Capone is only at Luffy's bounty pre-timeskip, and that Vipo guy is likely lower. Of course, they had to be captured for the sake of plot. When you think of it, there are still several members that could have key pasts that they haven't revealed yet. Sanji clearly comes from quite an infamous family that he escaped from and for some reason Big Mom wants him to have an arranged marriage with her daughter. Of the other members, Robin may still have some past moments she's not revealed, and Zoro likely has some hidden moments after he left that sword school and during his training with Mihawk. With how he is, I doubt Usopp has any key backstory we haven't already seen. |
