| This episode was a joke. Near to no animation, most times not even when people were speaking, lower quality art and, on the whole, the snake arc was just boring. The constant 'colour screen' flashes that attempted to mask the non-existent animation, as well as the 10+ moon shots really pissed me off. This has to be the worst animated episode I've ever seen. Although I enjoyed the previous sporty chick arc, the lack of Hitagi in that arc and this one bothered me. She's what made the first two arcs great. No Hitagi means no witty dialogue... Why was the sporty chick, who had nothing of interest left to say, back in the snake arc instead of Hitagi? :/ I've liked the series until this point, thinking of it as insanely stylish. It even has a rival for Horo in the intelligent tsundere league. But if this drop in quality is anything to go by, it isn't looking good. Here's hoping episodes 11-12 are better... |

QFT At least the could have made the constricting part a bit better and reveal more flesh, that would give some entertainment value^^ Again the opening was better than the actual episode.. |

| Too bad about this episode. I could handle the cuts until they had that frame of Koyomi with that retarded look on his face while he was crying up for 20 seconds. The ending was too abrupt as well. Feels like a few things were left too loose compared to the other arcs thus far. I'm kind of curious to see how much better the DVD version will be, but not interseted enough to actually watch it. Will need to check back once it comes out. |

| Damn Araragi, why are you trying to save everyone? Just freaking save cute girls and you're good to go, damnit. I guess it's really hard to fight something that you can't see, and I find that scene where the snake was constricting Sengoku to be fan service. :> and still, where's Senjougahara!? 2 episodes without her dang. |

| Lots of ups and downs on this episode... but mostly downs >.> I disliked the fact that they had to cut a lot of animations. And Araragi acting like a saint again.. makes me feel like puking all over the screen or punching his nuts right out of his mouth, if he even has one. Seriously, crying about failing to save a person(he doesn't even know) who tried to curse/kill a poor innocent girl. Who does he think he is? Jesus 2.0? His character is just getting more annoying each episode. I despise weak-goody2shoes lead male protagonists. I was ok with him in the beginning.. but every new episode he seem to disappoint me more and more. He always gets his ass handed to him, and he fails at being a man and a boyfriend. |

| The new op was cute. I remember watching it months ago. I did not like how they "encored" whatever was happening with the snake. They did not do that when he fought Kenboru. Overall it was on OK arc. I wonder if this is going to have a second season. |
| Even though it's getting old, I just have to say this: the OP was cute~ All the OPs of Bakemono are really well made. As for the haters... go hide under a bridge, no one is forcing you to watch. I really hope we get more Hitagi next episode. |
| for me this show started as a 9 because it was interesting then the odd eye shots, views, etc. started to take a toll and i dropped to a 8 now poor animation... |

| I'm getting tired of all these sex-jokes. And what was with the fanservice... Nadeko's moaning and her swimsuit and the angles and damn that ahoge of Araragi is WEIRD.The zoom-ins on everything and the not animated parts annoyed me big time. Nah anyway. The "please look at me"-dialogue with Araragi and Nadeko reminded me of Jungle Book's snake who repeatedly said, 'Look me in the eyes, please, both eyes please'. I somewhat liked the 'fight' between Araragi and the 'snake constrictor'-thing. |
| After watching the BD version of this episode, I must say I enjoyed it MUCH more than whatever version I watched before. The scenes with the snake were much more gripping and intense than before and very well animated. To anyone disappointed, try and get your hands on the DVD or BD version and rewatch it. And to all who say Bakemono is boring, I cant argue that this anime is the most action packed or intense, but srsly...this is just a different style. Lots of people find Durarara! to be awesome and amazing but I personally found it to be a snooze-fest, so what did I do? I stopped watching it. To each his own. Don't like it? Drop it, but don't rate it low or bash it, just accept the fact that its not for you. |

| I guess I watched the Blu ray version because the animation in the fight scene with the snake was well done and pretty intense. Good episode. |
