| Are the seven deadly sins supposed to be some kind of meta jab at tired anime archetypes? Aside from that, not much to say about the episode itself nor the characters, other than I didn't actually dislike what I watched. Will have to wait and see what it's all about. That freaking OP, tho: 'twas pure magic. Couldn't be happier they chose not to go for the generic j-rock/j-pop route and tried to get more creative with the visuals. Actually supports the "meta critique" theory, when you think about it. |

| the main reason I started watching the show was because the art's done my favourite artist and I'm super glad it was animated pretty well. The story progression is a bit haphazardly put together so it's kinda hard to follow along and I'm not a huge fan of some of the comic relief as they kinda mash it in while they're trying to explain what's going on. Still going to keep watching so hopefully it gets a bit better c: |

| thought when they share pain, they only feel 1/6 of the pain but it seems all of them get the full level of pain a good start so far :) |

| interesting story idea, and really enjoying the art style, especially the lineart. trigger knows how to make stylish looking series at least! there's some really lovely variation in line weight and use of solid black areas that I'm super digging rn, the character designs are nice too. all the main characters seem interesting in their own way, Luna Lovegood special snowflake nico-nico nii~ Niko is mostly coming across as sweet rather than annoying, so that's something! but I guess there's still time for them to all devolve into shallow archetypes. Chidori is unfortunately already there. her personality sort of just seems like it has 'love triangle' written all over it, I hope she has some individuality beyond that, but I'm sort of pessimistic. |

| Ah, so this is where the 'Yuta-kun desu' thing came from. The first thing I had to think about was periods, though I don't know if that's possible to be shared as well lol. Like most people I really liked the OP. The disco hospital scene was really weird. This originally wasn't on my to-watch list (because I'm already watching way too much), but I'm glad I gave it a chance. |

| I really hated watching this episode, most of the problems i have was with the Blue haired thottie So like, she comes and feeds MC-kun some weird lines about how he gets bullied because people wanna carve themselves into him (which may be a reason but the more clear reason right now would be money), pushes him off some stairs to get excessively wounded (its excessive cause he didn't need his life to be in danger to test the pain split), lies about push him to his almost death (for no reason it seems), and forces 6 children to participate in this pain split game. all this is probably made an even bigger problem for me because of the serious tone in this episode, which i think is created by how we follow apathetic MC and and Monotone girl for most of it, as well as how they displayed the pain split in action after some1 got hurt/hurt themselves. i do still expect good things from this. I would have liked it if one of the bullies were connected in his pain split project so we can understand their point of view. naturally i dont give a damn but since the whole point of this is to understand people so we dont fight, it would make sense to use it on people we fight against/who fight us. |

| i wonder whether the philosophical question about how people want to be noticed by all means be it due to a positive or a negative behavior will play any role after this first episode. if the answer is yes than this show could get way more interesting than it is already. the seven deadly sins were also mentioned slightly but i doubt this will have any significance later on which i do regret. the animation is great as well as the soundtracks so far and the opening seemed special- i didn't dislike it. it also suprised me when they got kidnapped jigsaw style lol. |

| I like the artwork of the show more than anything else so far, hope the story picks up in the next few episodes. I don't have a problem with the first few episode being slow and picks up as we go along because a lot of series are like that nowadays. |

| Probably the best looking Trigger show so far. One thing I always hated about KlK is how cheap it looked, so I'm happy they dedided to amp things up with this one. This was an ok start. The concept is really iffy since it sounds like something that's just bound to fail but I'm still interested in seeing how things play out. I didn't like the way Sonozaki was explaining things to Katsuhira, it felt really forced...but hey, gotta have that exposition by all means right? lol God tier opening though. |
