Awwwww man. When the anime was coming out I watched it and read blogs about how the novel was sooo much better. I never started the novel and now I probably never will.

Kazuma was probably one of my favorite male leads out there. Not many like him. Confident to the point of being really cocky, yet still fairly kind.

RIP.

first thing is first R.I.P

if the author new he was probably gonna die why couldn't he tell his illustrator or family member how to finish the series for him rather than leave it incomplete. :(

Lol if i knew i was going to die the last thing i would want to do is tell people how to do my job. xD

R.I.P

It's a shame this series won't get finnished but i think its better staying unfinnished rather than having some one else take over.

Yeah, unless that someone can do a good job of it. But I still hope the anime will be continued anyhow.

Well may he rest in peace. I really enjoyed this anime, and it is always sad when someone that you like dies...
Well one thing I've learned from this experience, is that a princess is still a princesss even when she is naked.

Awwww. That's sad. I am soon going to watch the Kaze no Stigma series. It would kind of be depressing that the series would probably never be finished... just like the Guin Saga series. All we can do is hope that the author had left notes and someone would pick it up.

RIP Yamato Takahiro
I really wish this would happen as well...

I wish for a second season, but as of now, I doubt it will ever happend. If the producers don't make up an ending by themselves, which could create an uneasy feeling because it wasn't the intentional one... But then again, I'd prefer a crapy ending, then none at all.

R.I.P

Yeah same, the series really ended in a cliffhangar, and I want more Kazuma and Ayano romance <3.

The final volume of Kaze no Stigma novel will be released in March 2010. Fujimishobo collected the remaining manuscripts of the side stories and will release it as "Kaze no Stigma Ignition vol.6".

Dammit.

R.I.P.

You made such a wonderful story. It's really sad that we may never see how it ends.

But if I remember, someone was writing alongside him...?

Oh well, no use asking questions now. Again, R.I.P

When I read up on wiki what Leukemia was, I felt sorry for the author.
Feels like the main protagonist is what he wished to be, but never was able to.
But in a sense of magic and stuff, but being a person who could stand up for something without fracturing a bone or bleeding to death.
I shall know no fear as I am fear incarnated

So he didn't left any notes about the ending of this series??

Robert Jordan a fantasy author also died because a blood disease. He fought it till the end but left a lot of notes about his series ( its called the wheel of time series- really great, but unfortunately at some time he started to unnecessarily extend the length of his books by giving a 2 page long description of characters bathing etx. If he didn't do it for sure he would end it before his death )

Thanks to those notes ( including a ending that he wrote) another great fantasy author ( Brandon Sanderson) is continuing to write this series. One book till the end remains. The best part is that those new books don't have any unnecessary parts ( like 2 page length descriptions of woman washing their cloths) A feast for every fantasy fan:D

But end of the spamming. Is there any possibility that the author left any notes so another author coulkd continue this novel??

thanks for the reply:D

I know it sounds completely stupid to say this after four years, but I find it absolutely disgusting how people are only sad for his death because he didn't get to finish Kaze No Stigma, and would obviously be more happy if he just finished it before he kicked the bucket.
