DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode felt slow in terms of pacing...not sure how I feel about that. And in terms of storytelling, I do find some of the background story to be neat but crude. Seimei seems a bit impatient but I'm fine with that, her personality is hard to understand at times anyway. Raikou needs better control of his power.... |

| The female version of the OP is way better than the male one imo In regards to the episode, I really liked it and I liked Yasuske and his girlfriend even more bubuty it really sucks whay happened to her and I feel like Seimei could have easily prevented all of that shit from happening She really annoyed me in this episode tbh....At least Yasuske was able to break the mold and defy what society wants him to be....Its a shame that he won't get to marry the girl though :( |

| I like that we get either a little bit world building or characterization(or both) during these horror of the week episodes but I still wish they'd throw in a little reminder of the main plot every now & then. The 1st Garo succeeded at that and even made it easier for themselves by introducing Mendoza early on, while showing us things on his every once in a while. Still, there's definitely something building up here. So many people can easily turn into horrors like Kosode did with the way things are and if we ever see him again(I hope he'll play a larger role), Yasusuke's not safe from turning into on either - unless he wants to become feudal Japan's Robin Hood and only rob nobles or something. | Believe me, I tried to like this.. But, it is getting harder and harder to like. Also, I feel that the MC should have a little more independence from Seimei; I mean Zaruba is his alone, not seimei's. And if I recall, Leon didn't have a limiter until his cousin came and whopped his ass to show him a lesson |
| Best episode so far. Yasusuke is taking shape as a main. What this season lacks so far is a clear direction. First season introduced one early on. Leon and Alfonso were driven by revenge, while Raikou is just going around preaching justice, Kintoki is useless, and Seimei is doing whatever she wants. Hopefully Yasusuke shows up more, as he is a much more interesting character at the moment. It's only 5/26 episodes though, so I'm not too concerned yet. |

| We are in episode 5, and I still hate the voice acting of Raikou. So far the anime has been nothing more than a big mess, the huge quality drops in the anime except the fight scenes is making me question wether the series actually deserves 26 episodes. There is still nothing in this particular spin-off, of the Garo series that has made an impression on me or even something memorable for me to come back to for more. The first Series did a tremendous job at actually giving us viewers a storyline and get characters to actually feel important, instead we get 3 characters which have no depth and the lack of a buildup to what has happened in the past i.e: what happened to Zaruba and the Garo armour getting sealed. All of this is killing me. And right about now am going to call it straight out, Seimei is the main protagonist and Raikou is just a false protagonist. Which only serves as a character to drop the garo decent too. I understand that we are still at the begning, but if this is going to continue the way it is, with boring characters and a non-existent plot, I as a garo fan am going to drop this anime.... |

| I'm still waiting for better boss Fights. Looks like Raikou still can't handle the Garo Armor and we'll have to wait more. Regular episode overall. |

| Really sad fate for Kosode. I really hoped they could have been together because I liked her character too. She would have made a pretty good Kunoichi. But I'm glad it stayed true to historical roots with Fujiwara no Yasusuke becoming Hakamadare, or "Hakamadare Yasusuke", a Robin Hood-esque figure. | I have to admit that there is progress - it's getting better (the urge to hit Kintoki in the face is still strong), so in the end there may even be some hope for it. So far this episode was definitely the least lame (I'm not sure if English language works here with me but who cares) one, so again - IT'S SOMETHING. |

| Episode a bit dull on the whole, the plot is built slowly, but the thing that disappoints is the lack of bite in the narrative. The drawings and animations leave something to be desired as the quality level low enough, a shame as you are dragging this series, though not the bud because something is saved. |

| Finally I could update the GARO list. Haven't been watching this series for a long time. Quality over quantity. Anyways, pretty decent ep. Poor that Police patriot guy. Lost his lover. That must hurt. And now he is a thief. LOL |
