Actually, considering there's barely 6 episodes or so to go (if they go by the 13-episodes limit), perhaps they just didn't want to bother animating too much material so they found a perfect excuse to slow down. The different costumes, camera angles and stuff is mostly to keep the illusion that each episode is different. Otherwise they'd reveal themselves as lazy bastards. |

If the rest of the second season isn't better (and I don't mean acceptable in that it isn't just "more E8") than they're practically purposely ruining Haruhi. The remaining stories, like the disappearance and snowy mountain syndrome that could be in the second season, are, in my opinion at least, better than almost anything in the first season. I'll just have to keep hoping that things like this don't keep me from seeing things even later on like the dissociation. |
