| Finally! The serious fight has started! Oboro's voice actor is Kazuhiko Inoue. I knew he sounded so familiar (Kakashi of Naruto). And this is so linked to Gintoki and Shoyo-sensei. It was sad to see Gintoki, Katsura, and Takasugi mourning on Shoyo-sensei's decapitated head. |

| This anime is setting a new standard for me. I wish it was possible to give it a score higher than a 10. It is possibly that only anime in the world that ever made me say out loud, "Holy f***" and wanting more. I go from tears, laughter, to excited. I'm guessing that everyone agreed this episode was sick, considering that there isn't any vote on the poll below a 5 out of 5. Gintama knows action. |

| The two words, the only two words that came out of my mouth at the end of that episode were "Fuck me" and for good reason at that. This is probably one of the best episodes of Gintama I've ever seen. I've seen Gintoki get mad before, but never so mad that he broke through a metal sword with his teeth. His freaking teeth! I almost find it ridiculous that they stopped the fighting for a good three minutes to explain backstory. "Oh, Tsu-kii, you don't know what happened? Here let's stop fighting and start talking about this. Gather round, we'll pass out some milk and cookies if you're good!" I think it's almost worse that Oboro joined in with giving backstory. So ridiculous. That said, I heartily enjoyed the backstory we were given in this episode, I really love hearing about Gintoki's past. And it's going to be very interesting to see the exact story behind him and Oboro, even if all we get are snippets of a fight. It might sound weird, but when Gintoki almost dies (or any other popular character, really), you know it's a good episode. And seriously, this episode was great. I love how both the police forces jump in at the very end. Can't wait for the climax next week, especially because the only real place this has to go is up. I seriously put this at the top of my "Favorite Gintama episodes" list. |
| Jesus fucking christ, I don't think I've seen Gintoki this angry since the Devas arc. o.o Tsukuyo and Nobume were kicking some ass (That was actually badass, mind you), even though I still don't like Nobume. Oboro, you are gonna get your fucking ass killed! *ahem* Anywaaaay, can't wait for next week! ^^ |

| THIS EPISODE! OMG! I HAD MY HEART AT MY THROAT! Tsukki in her sexy best, taking out those gunmen with her kunai. So badass. Nobume is becoming more and more one of my favourites in Gintama. Why the females in this anime rock so much?! Kagura following Gintoki's lead and syncing when they were about to fire the cannon through the castle wall, I so love that thing about her! Everyone tends to forget that Shinpachi is actually a master of swordsmanship himself. It just that he is surrounded by so many monsters that he looks quite the weakling, in reality, he can probably take on 3 or 4 average opponents at a time. Gintoki losing it and transforming to that overkill mode! Damn so awesome! Shiroyasha in his overkill mode is still so freaken awesome! And we get to see Shoyo-sensei and with that Gintoki's past! I so adore these episodes. Touching, yet motivating and keeps me on my toe with Gintama! And like many of you here, I want to see Zura so badly in this arc! He may be the stupidest character in the anime, but his swordsmanship is probably only second to Gintoki. Can I be too wishful and hope he appears at some point in the arc? Even as standby? Still love the ED no matter what many of you say! Oh! Almost forgot, "Good Morning". "This is the Police." Next episode will be crazy awesome! |

Plus, I'm pretty glad that this arc touch on a lot more of Gintoki's past w/ his sensei and all. You finally get an understanding of what happen to him (at least a bit more) and why it made Gintoki, Zura and Takasugi the men they are. That certainly is, the most badass scene in this episode. I can foresee Gintoki is gonna go Badass Rage Mode. He's already pissed, and will be pissed even more. Though I wonder how he can survive that poison, he did lost alot of blood. We find out some parts of Gintoki's history in the war. Shinsengumi and Mimawarigumi joined the battle! Shits gonna go down! |

| The battle scenes were excellent, I really like the Tendoshu. And Gintoki transformed into a demon again. Crushing a sword with your teeth is beyond epic. ;) |
| This was awesome. Gintoki goes berserk while remembering his sensei = epicness! It's just too bad the arc will end next week, so I suppose re-runs take place again...? Nevertheless, I can't wait for the finale. |
