| That was great. Thanks, Madhouse! I forgive you for not animating Chihayafuru s3. The OST's also pretty good too. Read through a couple of comments here so I'm not going to complain about the comedic atmosphere because it will go away soon. I'm surprised this is adapted from a 1989 manga because it really didn't feel like it. lol |

| Really loved the manga so I'm glad there's an anime adaptation now. The hand's voice is so different to what I expected. He's like a teddy bear instead of a violent alien being. Seemed just like the first chapter of the manga. I hope it goes in the same direction. As for the music, can't say I'm a big fan. Did really like the animation style. I think this is one I'll be following for the first time in forever. |

| This is the third anime I've seen this season that start off with a boob grab. What the hell Japan? Well after watching this first episode, my expectations went through the roof. I hope I wont get disappointed. |

| 5/5 I love it and I immediately felt like a promising anime, both in terms of the narrative of the story, I hope that Madhouse does not ruin everything with his stinginess. The Character Design is great and the OST along with the opening and the ending they're fine with their subject matter. Satisfied with the choice of starting his vision, I hope the best yet in his adaptation, since a friend of mine told me that compared to the paper version, there was a difference of more points. I want to ruin me, for now my vote is 7/10, although would venture a nice 8/10! |

Part of the story is about the Parasytes blending in with society and not being detected. Today there are many means of documentating events that were not available in the 90s, just think of smartphones. Is it that hard to imagine that this, combined with the rearranging, might have a negatice impact on the story? And yes, CGI is a really minor complaint. I never said it was a big one. Hopefully this doesn't mean that there will be too many small cuts in the budget, which is what a fear. |

When you see a monster right in front of you, unless you have a death wish, common sense tells you to run away, not take a picture with your phone. In the manga, the only ones that supposedly saw the parasytes early on were children and last I heard, parents don't give children their own personal handphones. As for the adults...you know what happened. The rearrangement of several scenes should not pose a problem if they are handled well and if this episode is anything to go by, it's actually not that bad. Granted, I understand your worries that some stuff might change for the worse but considering Madhouse's track record with shows like this, I'm not too worried. Why should they spend so much time and money animating such an insignificant scene when they can use the budget and things that are actually important? Sure, they could have used still frames but that'd be just as, if not more lazy. Madhouse just doesn't have the resources to pull pre-Redline level stuff anymore. They went bankrupt and got bought out. Luckily enough, their buyers, NTV, were the ones that sourced amazing shows like Hajime no Ippo, Chihayafuru, Death Note, One Outs, Kaiji and HxH to them. Hell, click the VAP(they're basically NTV in a sense) tag and you'd see that 17/20 of the top rated shows are Madhouse titles. Coincidentally, Parasyte is also a show that NTV sourced to Madhouse. That's enough of me going off tangent though. |

| Ok first of all the character design is almost off, its different from the original manga (especially satomi), but a bit relieved when saw shinichi hair style at the end of opening clip, atleast the baddas mode is matching,, Its true a lot of things added since the time gap (pc and other gadged), and I can't remember if that winged dog is in the original manga or not but i still love it coz it was one of my first vulgar manga i had read (the other one is ghost sweeper mikami which anime is axed / failed), lets hope with this 24 episode time slot would cover until the end of the kiseijuu manga,, And about the voice act, I am a bit surprised it is Hirano Aya who voiced migi, first thing I think when I realized it was her is "she has fallen",, >_< Lastly the opening song is superb, it fit in with the madness in kiseijuu, and still "hearable" not like last season tokyo ghoul op/ed, hearing those made me want to puke,, |

| That might just be the worst OP of the season. First episode was good overall, although the comments about the anime being so different from the manga bother me quite a bit. |
| I think so far this has been the most enjoyable anime this season. I'm glad that there hasn't been any censorship so far. Then again I haven't read the manga, so I don't know if there is a difference or not. My only complaint would be the OP theme, which honestly was pretty awful. |

| Lol at the mixed reactions on the OP theme. I for one like the OP and I think it's fitting for the series. It's also one of the better song put out by the band since HxH ED1. |

| As far as first episodes go, that was pretty awesome! Since the manga is pretty old I think they did a great job of modernizing it. I have good hopes that this will turn out to be another Madhouse masterpiece. |
