Again, I just felt like things went too slowly just so that the shot of Father reaching for the door could be the cliffhanger. | Wow.. just wow. This episode had everything. It made me laugh, cry, gasp, and go completely silent in amazement. The first awesome thing in this episode was definitely Bradley's and Scar's awesome fight. It was so well animated, and I surely didn't see it coming when Scar showed off his new alchemy! What's even more interesting it what happened down below is Father and everyone. Seeing Izumi whip out a giant crossbow was pretty amusing :'D All the tension though! I wish they'd stop leaving us with such cliffhangers that they have been the past few weeks. How can there be only three more episodes?! |

| Many thanks to cnaw for interrupting Fai's trollery. Anyways, that was the first episode in a while that was a 5/5 to me. I really have to wonder how Arakawa's going to (did?) pull out of this without some stupid Deus Ex or "courage punch", but I suppose I need to just trust her and enjoy the ride. (Although I guess it doesn't need quite as careful story weaving if they're just unconscious as people have been mentioning in the thread; I thought they had all died, which would've been harder, unless they all stayed dead...) |

| God...This was the most AWESOME ep. I've ever watched! I just can't believe it wasn't the final one and at the same time can't wait to watch the rest ones. Oh shit, week is gonna be such a long time. This ep. shows precisely how awesome and fucked up (in a good way) is Brotherhood in comparison to the first FMA. |

| Finally got around to watching this episode =_=; Been busy all week! Anyway, I got the feeling that everything in this episode was drawn-out for the sake of time. Maybe I'm just comparing it to the constant action and movement in the last half-dozen episodes or so, but this episode felt quite a bit slower. Don't get me wrong, though - I liked the episode well enough but the pacing was rather jarring in comparison to what I've been used to. I did enjoy the May/Father and Scar/Wrath battles, short as they were, especially May. I didn't expect her to have that much fight and toughness xD Still, it's a build-up episode so I'm hoping things have nowhere to go but up from here on out. |

| ... Episode left me speechless for a moment. High expectations are all being met. Seriously, that was a fantastic episode. I look forward to more sheer greatness and even more enjoyment from the next few episodes. :D It probably needed to be short so that more important things could be fit in, but Scar and Wrath's battle... Well, I felt it could've been longer? Personal feeling was that I wanted to see just a liiiittle bit more of it... but meh! I'm not disappointed in the least. Everything else was mindblowing. :) Stupid multi-eye-creature-that-is-"Father" annoyed me by the way he just dragged his "sacrifices" around like sacks of rice. Maybe it's because he's the one who's most recently been turned into a sacrifice and was turned into one by force -- thus having his eyesight cruelly STOLEN from him -- but I felt worst of all for Mustang. Everyone else knows what's going on... but he's in pitch blackness. UNFAIR. >: I haven't read the manga so I'll just say (perhaps ignorantly): everything will turn out all right in the end! I'm sure. Or I'll be very sad. |
