| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah we get some Welfin this episode. A decent built-up episode nonetheless. Poor Youpi...I actually liked that guy quite a bit in this arc. RIP. But anyways, I'm anticipating next week or rather when the King finds out the truth. He already got another hint this episode with a Shogi piece. Kinda interesting how they pulled off that cliffhanger. Oh Pouf, I don't feel sorry for you at all. |

| Did they show the missing Gyro scene from chapters 203/204? Unless they do eventually, people are going to be convinced that Meruem is Gyro. And Bisky is Gon's mother. |

| Damn, the Royal Guard is getting killed one by one! What a crazy turn of events. And pouf is next, I was really surprised when Welfin took down Youpi, badass. Now I wonder how they will kill the king, he is basically indestructible against even the most powerful nen and physical attacks, plus he's fused with Pouf and Youpi. |

| Another amazing ep :D I don't remember liking Palm this much in the manga but the anime is making me love her <3 Ikalgo was BA convincing Welfin by his Gyro talk. Still waiting for the Gyro story to be continued in the manga <_< And nice going Welfin being courageous enough to challenge Youpi. Damn Youpi's corpse looked like a messed up squashed insect :O And Pouf's reaction was awesome :D Pouf's reaction to Meruem playing Gungi on the floor was priceless XD So screwed XD And I can't help but LMAO when Pouf is begging for Pitou to arrive XD HE HAS NO IDEA XDXDXD Let the count down to their deaths begin ^^ Loved how Palm was talking about how cruel they are being. Really hits in the feelz. |

The guards were basically swimming in the radiation once they were looking for the king. edit: They actually omitted a couple parts of gyro in the anime and i'm hoping they flesh it out in the later episodes. You could go the chapters 203-204 and see why he's such a badass if you want. |

Ultimately, their "animal" instincts were only really about survival, but what made them so dangerous and destructive was their human side. But they were no match in the end for actual humans when it comes to destroying things that affect their livelihood. |

OT: Well despite what I said above, I still loved the episode, we're reaching the conclusion of the arc now, prepare your tissues ladies and gentlemen. RIP Youpi, I shall miss you. Although I'm a bit concerned, we still have 7 chapters to adapt and only two episodes left of the arc, which means it should adapt 3 and a half chapters for each episode, but I don't want to rush the ending, I hope it plays out perfectly |

When a nuke explodes, the radiation doesn't disappear right away. Same thing with the Rose. |

| Cool episode. Was surprised that Welfin challenged Youpi. It seems that guard and king are sick with something, maybe some toxic from the explosion? That is what it looks like they are hinting. |

| Errr guys are you sure it's radiation? What if King and Royal Guards are connected in the way that if one dies, the other weaken.. ? So, since Youpi died, a part of King died as well.. Ok maybe it's just as you suggested but i am just thinking of other reasons.. |

Gyro also had a small (2 panels) monologue about what he was going to do. I don't think Madhouse is ever going to animate it. I'm surprised that Madhouse chose Palm to be the one who talks about the cruelty of humans. Another awesome episode, but Palm and Ikalgo's convo had weird pacing. I think they were trying to make it really intense, so that viewers knew the impact of what they were foreshadowing... but it kinda failed (some pauses were just too long, imo). |

What could be a better way to end this arc than to avoid the usual shounen 'final battle' by ending the lives of the ants in such a underwhelming and depressing way? It's signature togashi. |
