| Already done this with mixed results, most didn't care, an older lady friend said that my figures might be worth some money in the future (same with most of my family), some were just surprised I had anime merchandise in the first place. The only folks with issues about my room are 18-20 year old "hip" and "mainstream" women and even then they just think it's a bit odd for me to have them, nothing like the the worries people on MAL say. |

| What is an anime room? I have a bunch of anime posters in my room too, not to mention shelfs full of manga and comics. And, believe me or not, girls have been in here and they didn't cry out in pain and left with bleeding eyes. You should be fine, unless you have like 50 naked figurines around a shrine of your waifu, dakimakuras en masse and random onaholes lying around. In which case you're beyonf saving anyway, so you might just invite her anyway and hope that she faints. |

| If I had a room covered in that stuff, which I may one day (who knows?), it would depend on the person. If the person knows that I'm into that kinda stuff, then sure, if not, it depends on other factors. How accepting are they? How plastered is my room? How much am I trying to impress them? Etc. |

| The only anime related thing I have in my room are my figures. I really don't recommend inviting her to your room if it's got "weeaboo" written all over it. If I were in her position, I'd be a little unnerved if I walked into your room and saw an overwhelming amount of anime merch. |

| Depends. If i had an anime room, and no girlfriend, and wanting to get laid, then yes. Id tear it down quicker then lightning, unless she likes anime too. If i did not want to get laid, then i would not care. Lets face it, an "anime room" is not the most attractive thing. That said, i wouldnt mind keeping some of it up, most people dont care unless the entire room is filled of it. But i would never have an "anime room". I have all my manga in a drawer and like 2 animediscs. And i my girlfriend would kill me if I even tried to make one. |

| I don't recommend bringing "normals" in if you don't think they can handle it. I don't have any experience with it, though, since my room isn't exactly swimming in anime (though there are about 150 volumes of manga on a bookshelf in a corner, as well as some anime collectibles mixed in with video game and Pokemon collectibles and various other trinkets on shelves across from the door), just clutter, so "normals" in my case are people who can't stand clutter. |
