I honestly can't think of anything I personally enjoy beyond a brief meme that is THAT bad on its own without external help. A movie length at most, I'd say. I think you just need to find better things to have on your favorites!


But anyway, I didn't write that rant about YYH for no reason; the dub is ATROCIOUS and the definition of a bastardization. Like, why even watch YYH at all if you only want to see the flanderized version? Not even worth it.

There are a lot of autism riddled speds here with all kinds of dumb opinions. One of the animes I have on my list that I enjoyed something called 11eyes, and the coolest part about it was that it had NO English dub whatsoever. You can actually watch the entire thing on Youtube and that was the funniest part, some of the comments "WHERE'S THE DUB?" or people searching for it with nothing.
Because I got to watch it first, I then decided to buy it thereafter and there's nothing on the DVD either! In fact, the trailer on another anime (how I found about it) was just the opening theme, which I think is a perfect way to advertise anime. Anime literally put so much budget into their openings because they DO use them as essentially trailers. Especially instead of Marvel-movie kind of bullshit or even wasting money on dubbing it at all. Just import it AS-IS! It was perfect! I wish other studios did that! Just to piss off the dubtards too, haha.

The real issue that so many anime fans actually think dubs are exactly the same, when too many of them either change scripts, edit, or inject things that weren't originally included. Funimation is particularly guilty of the latter, but that's a big part of why the YYH dub is so atrocious. Most dubs still can't even compare to the originals even when they don't do that. Speed Grapher is the only anime I kinda prefer the dub, but it's literally on PAR with the sub regardless. As you said.

The anime I'm watching now is based off a game and for games, I can play dubbed and it seems pretty faithful (exactly the same as the script in the anime which I'm watching in Japanese), good acting and casting, but most of all, it's an action game... and I can't READ subtitles while I'm trying to focus on combat. That's the biggest reason. I could play something like Persona 5 in Japanese because with turn based combat, reading was possible. Not in something like Scarlet Nexus!

The fact you view Gravitation or something like hentai is funny to me, because as far as I can tell, it might have fanservice or titilation, but it's not explicit beyond that! Hentai is literally porn, so unless there's fucking in it, it's not hentai!


We could watch something, sure! I don't know what, but I'm okay with it! We'd have to use discord though; nothing else really works! Having it either on DVD or a video file makes it a lot easier, I've found with all the stuff Tay and me watch!
Definitely no seasonal fad shit though. I can't stand any of that. It's all overrated trash. I've never seen any of these fad animes that live up to anything. I just watch what I want and usually what I like the rest of the braindead otaku NPCs don't like it.
