| Time skip! We begin the second half of the story with a 5 year time skip. At least from the OP we know Kaname survived, but no Manaka. She's out of the equation, by force. Our young middle-schooler protagonists have grown into fine college-aged adults. Chisaki has taken up nursing, and Tsumugu is becoming a researcher. Interestingly, she has been cohabiting with Tsumugu for a while now, having no relatives on the surface. Must have been awfully tough if he harbored feelings for her, as I suspected. Chisaki remains my favorite character for this show as of the moment. The elementary schoolgirls have also blossomed into lovely young middle-schoolers. I like Sayu's older look. Miuna looks nice too... now that she's also an older sister. I guess what I half-wanted to see back when Hikari saved Miuna came true... partly, as only Miuna grew up physically. Maybe now I can support that ship, lol. Manaka's disappearance clearly left a gaping hole in Hikari's heart, and sure to be what drives him for a while... if not until the finale, or if they ever manage to see her again. |
| Didn't expect the Time Skip at all happening in this anime. This whole episode was actually tense. You can feel the sadness of all the characters, even if they had a lot of time to grow out of it. Didn't expect everything to end up so tragic. Now things are gonna be awkward, Chisaki, who loves Hikari, grew up; as well as Tsumugu. Not only that, Miuna is now the same age as Hikari. I'm also guessing that mentally, Hikari didn't grow up either. This is gonna open a lot more romance options and whatnot for the each character. I'm expecting a Love-hexagon or something at this point. Great OST, scenery and display of emotions like always. |

| Loved the episode. I felt from the beginning of the series that there was going to be a time skip. But to know the reality of Chisaki was amazing. The best thing that makes me involve is the atmosphere, themes and music. Really good anime so far. |

| 1. Love this 5 year time jump. They're much mature than being annoying lil middle school kids 2. Hikari realizing the ppl around him has aged & he's stayed the same was extraordinary. It's like time left him behind. 8/10 |
| I think adding Miuna to the love circle is overdoing it, but i guess since Chisaki is probably out of that circle now, maybe it's ok.... |

| Damn you Uroko-sama for making this show more interesting than it is already!!! Umi Kami-sama bring back Manaka-chan!!! Didn't expect the time skip and was a bit confused when I saw the new OP as some of the characters seem to age while others did not. Its like you combined Clannad and Clannad After Story in one show now. Plus there are more potential ships now than it was before (a lot of them are already mentioned above) or rather impossible ships before now become very possible but unlikely seeing how things go. My pending rating for this show just jumped exponentially!!! |

| I didn't expect such a heartbreaking time skip holy shit. If they end up making Miuna and Hikari get together it'd kind of annoy me. Chisaki is definitely my favorite character. I can't believe she and Tsumugu are already old enough to be in college. I like their relationship a bit more. I wonder what happened to Kaname and Manaka. Akari's kid is so cute too. Ugh this is so hard to watch. ;_; In the good way haha |

| I didn't see Manaka at all in the OP.. except a glimpse of her under the sea. :( This anime really don't cease to surprise me.. so now the setting is after a 5 years gap. Hmmm well the age gap just made up new ships ready for sail. Looking forward to new developments. Now I wouldn't mind Tsugumu x Chisaka couple.. compared to before they did live under the same roof for 5 years. Itaru and Akari's new kid is funny. Oh wow just look at both Miuna and Sayu.. scary what puberty does. YESS.. I've been waiting for this moment for so long. Hikari finally shed a tear for the first time. T___T That was enough to flood my eyes.. by the way that mouth to mouth was a plus YAY. Now Hikari doesn't look like an uncle to Miuna does he ? Hehehehe. I'm a little afraid to think of what happened to Manaka though. Also have to prepare to make space for a new favorite. |

| Timeskip! 5 years passed! Holy shit! Chisaki grew up! She went from cute to beautiful! One thousand years of death! Lol at that kid. Akari had a kid in the time that was skipped. Miuna and Sayu sure grew up too. They are about the same age when the Hikari and the other were when the series started. Chisaki being left by herself for 5 years... oh man... That has to be really hard. She was crying when she was a t Tsumugu home. Just damn man. Tsumugu and Chisaki are in college now too. HikariXChisaki ship sunk. KanameXChisaki ship sunk. ManakaXTsumugu ship sunk. But with that new ships rise. MiunaXHikari and SayuXKaname rise from this. There about the same age now. Looks like TsumuguXChisaki defintely has some steam. I feel bad for Kaname since he really doesn't have anyone else but maybe Sayu. But he never had any interest in her. Who knows? Maybe in the future. If Hikari didn't age then that means that Kaname and Manaka didn't age too. Along with everyone in the sea village. Gonna be weird for Chisaki's parents to see her much older. That sucks. It must be really weird to be in Chisaki's shoes since they were all childhood freinds and there is a considerably age gap. I like the new OP and ED! Still like the first ones better. Mabe the new ones will grow on me. There is so much to process! So much feels! |

| Dat time skip tho. Dang, the whole relationship dynamic has changed with the people in the sea not aging for the last 5 years. I'm more interested in what it will mean for Kaname because his love interest is older than him now, physically at least. |
| I was actually really worried about a timeskip, but they've pulled it off very well, with well directed and well-timed flashbacks/forwards. I thought Chisaki was kinda annoying before but older Chiisaki is actually really cool! Tsumugu as well. It's gonna be really interesting though with Hikari/Manaka/Kaname still being 14 years old. I kinda hoped they'd be older and more mature too, especially Manaka so she stops crying haha. Also, they should have omitted to OP for just this episode to avoid spoiling that everyone is okay. 5/5 though :) |

| I knew there'll be time skip, what else could they do with the rest of the episodes. But still, I'm not mentally prepared enough. All of my ship are gone and these new ships are some what messed up. |

| bro, this show is fucking crazy!!! Poor Chisaki tho lmao, she kind of just ended up there for no reason. Normally I really hate time skips, but this one actually worked pretty well, SO FAR. |
| A little over half way through, and I've cried a handful of times. But this episode got me. I didn't like Manaka at first, but Hikari yelling for her got me good. ;-; also I ship Chisaki and Tsumugu like a MOTHERFUCKER. But where is Kaname. I really love Kaname, even if I don't think he's the one for Chisaki. Pls Kaname come back :'c |

| If Manaka comes back 14 years after everyone it would be glorious. Also, Hikari and Kaname can be with Miuna and Sayu instead of those other girls. At least those two know who they want. |
