People only assumed it'd be October because that is when most TV anime that start in the autumn start airing. | There's no source saying the series will air exactly this month. Given the fact that there's less than 48 hours left of October, I'd say the chances aren't high for Pupa to air on Nico Nico. |

| I figured this was going to air in Japan on Halloween (it's being advertised as a horror anime, so that would make sense). Doesn't look like it will... which sucks. I was looking forward to being really creeped out for this Halloween--not that I don't mind being creeped out other days of the year, but Halloween is really perfect for that. Oh well. It is 2am there right now so even if they were doing the late night anime scheduling thing of saying it is October 31 at 26:00, it is now that time. Really, did you think they would drop it on Nico Nico as a surprise without an updated announcement? | I was really hoping it would air today, although I doubted it... I'm reading the manga and it's very interesting, so I'm looking forward to it. We've been waiting a whole month and still not a precise release date. I hope it airs soon though. |

ANN states its source is the official Pupa website, which does not make any mention on specific airing dates, just that they plan to release it in "Fall 2013". I'm not going to hold my breath.
