| My sisters used to watch anime together all the time, so when I got a bit older they started introducing me to anime. I didn't get into manga too much and wasn't really loving anime either. After a show or two I started to become obsessed with anime and watched the good, popular ones like Naruto and Fairy Tail and Death Note. Now I'm always spending my free time watching anime with my sisters, my friends or myself. My sisters created a monster ^_^ |
| Well, I watched Pokemon but that didn't get me into Anime and I didn't know it was an Anime. It would have to be DBZ. I avoided it for the longest time because I simply couldn't grasp the concept. The artstyle was extremely foreign and I viewed cartoons as a children's medium, that adults could enjoy. I finally gave it a shot and after a few episodes I was hooked. I became so hooked that I was recording episodes (VHS...) and watching it every chance I got. I stumbled upon the manga and that led me to a new world. Adult Swim/Toonami got me into even more Anime. Adult Swim really changed my view of what a "cartoon" could be. The internet really caused my love for the medium to skyrocket. I was one of the first people to jump on Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, etc... In fact, I was with Bleach/Death Note day 1. Now I'm older, but I still discover stuff that makes me continue loving this medium. |

| I watched pokemon when I was younger but I didn't know it was anime. My real anime interest started back when I was in high school. I went to anime club to check it out and it interested me. The first anime I watched all the way through was Full Metal Panic and that show sort of started my obsession with anime. |
| Back eons ago, I saw Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball when they were on tv. (I actually saw Astro Boy when I was realllly young, but I didn't know about anime then.) I really got into anime after getting into comics. The comic book stores also sell manga and anime, so it was easy to get into both comics and anime at the same time. I remember buying some VHS tapes from the video store: Record of Lodoss War, Fushigi Yugi, Ranma 1/2. I seem to have mentioned several different things here. Oh well, life is a mish-mash. |

| Well, a long long time ago in high school when my friend gave me a glimpse of Rurouni Kenshin when it was still airing, I was instantly hooked. I bought the entire series and watched it back-to-back. Ever since then (with long breaks in between) I've been trying to watch whatever I can. |

| Some of my friends made me watch anime. First one I saw was Attack on Titan. Sadly I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted to so that is not really the anime that sold me. My friends recommended Death Note followed by Steins Gate. And after I watched Steins Gate I was sold and started to watch a lot of other shows. (*˘︶˘*) |

| The first series I watched that I knew was anime...Inuyasha, of course. I owe a lot to Takahashi-sensei :). I first watched it at a friend's house and my first episode was "Untamed Entei and Horrible Hokudoshi." I loved it and proceeded to binge watch the series over the next few days. I never looked back :) Technically, Pokemon was my first anime series, but I didn't even know it was anime back then. |
