So intriguing to see Hachiken's emotion and Aki
Very brave how he handled the Deer as well

And of course adding a Bear as a bonus

and of course repairing the truck would be tough

IS bear edible?
I even once had bear hot-pot in Japan, so....
Really? What does it taste like? or, is it any closer to beef or pork?
It tastes like game meat and also rougher in texture. It definitely does not taste like pork though (or wild boar which I also once tried in Japan). Anyway, if I have a choice between deer and bear I think I'd choose deer -- deer indeed tastes quite like beef (actually even closer to horse).
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Oh, that "romantic" ending was simply beautiful.
Is it legal in Japan to just take home road kill and eat it? Because I know that you aren't allowed to do that where I live...

Great episode. Feel really sorry for Aki's dad though. Hernia in the back is the worst. (I assume they meant herniated disc)

I personally couldn't walk for 3 months straight after it happened to me, and it took me another half year to recover to near normal. I couldn't stop thinking "Someday it'll be me being taken to the hospital because my hernia got worst! OMG why!? T_T"

this episode seriously made me laugh a few times :D
"my friend... my signal tower..."
"there's something called the united nations convention on the rights of the child..." - "don't tell them things they don't need to know!"
"darn, you looked into the deer's eyes." *blindfolding deer* "now it feels like we took it hostage!"

i like the character development. you see that hachiken has a hard time dealing with some aspects of the farm life, but he slowly overcomes these "fears". it's a really nice watch. i would've never expected that from a slice of life farm anime.

Oh, Hachiken, still up with the city slicker thingy, anyways, nice to see him working for Aki's farm. Too, bad her dad hates him. And, I wanna give him a Karate chop on his head for being too cheesy about farm life.

Oh deer, yummy, do you know Deer meat only has that 15% fat than beef and pork?

Btw, to butcher an animal that is already dead is kinda off, besides how do you butcher something that's already dead? Since the Deer is a wild game and it has already died after being ran over by Aki's grandfather, translators should have used the term 'Skinning" when preparing wild game, co'z that's what hunters do or in this case Aki's grandfather when they ran over the said wild game and prepping it for dinner.

Believe it or not, once we had a goat, the damn thing acted like he was a dog, the only thing he didn't do is bark. Had no problem eating him when it was time for him to be butchered.

Goats aren't cute.

Watch Arashi no Yoru ni and then talk with me.

Oh I saw Arashi no Yoru ni the movie a long time ago, I think if I go and re-watch it I might want some goat dish. I think the problem with me wanted to eat them is because I actually know what they taste like. (Always wanted to gnaw at Oolong;s ears each time I see him (the pig character in Dragon Ball), pigs ears are so crunchy!

He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.

Hachiken is really a chicken with skinning a deer, btw, deer meat taste good when grilled over hot fire and marinated with orange juice, whiskey and mustard.

Bear, taste good when rubbed with salt, rosemary oil, basil wine vinegar, black pepper and smoked over hickory wood for 8 hrs.

Wow, man, this anime is changing my life, it has so many lessons. Hachiken's decision is one that will hopefully someday influence me. Even little things like everyone in the family taking things easy and enjoying their life even though they don't have many material possessions or lots of free time.

Right?

Yet again Hachiken and co managed to make me laugh heartily. It's rare these days that I find a show capable of evoking such positive and honest emotions, so you can imagine how grateful I am for this adaption. Awesome manga and a great adaption- all around perfect.

Who knew a bear could be such a cockblock and a moment killer?

Funny episode. I love the character development. I also like the deepness this episode had. But what I love the most is the countryside feeling. Mountains, pickup trucks, no signal, deer, and the like.
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.
