Unfortunately, against my will. (AP English IV XP)

I can't even begin to describe how utterly boring and retarded this book is. Just on Chapter 1, I yawned 57 times. Unless Sparknotes can be my savior, I don't know how I'm going to be able to pass the quizzes and Test. @~@

I finished that book, and I can't remember how many times I was flipping the pages because of too many flashbacks. @_@ (I love the book though.)

~ Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, A Novel of the Old Republic is a novel by Drew Karpyshyn about the life of Darth Bane, set from 1,003 BBY to 1,000 BBY. It's an interesting book ^_^

Feel the darkside ^_^ If you find it to your taste, you've got to read Rule of two asap.

Just finished the Greg Keyes books ( can't wait for the last one in series, should be very rewarding ), and now I remembered I bought this some time ago and actually left it somewhere on a shelf. The last book in the Prince of nothing series. I think I haven't read something that intelligent since Frank Herbert, and maybe some Orson Scott Card. Not heavy, with lots of philosophy and metaphysical stuff; as the main character
exhibits incredible powers of prediction and persuasion, which are derived from the stillness of the mind and a deep understanding of causal relations.

Here's an extremely good review for the first book, The Darkness that Comes Before :

Now reading Guy Gavriel Kay's Tigana. He's a good writer, enjoyable so far.

I decided to take a short break from Proust.

Going through it slowly myself, just about to start part 2. Decent so far, although I was expecting something a bit different when I heard people call his prose beautiful.

I do think it is quite beautiful actually, although I imagine I'd be more impressed if I hadn't come to Tigana straight from Proust. For beautiful prose, Proust is hard to beat.

One of my favourite books, even if some creative licence has been taken with the history. But then again, why not? It is historical fiction. I've been meaning to read the rest of Clavell's work, although I must admit all those very thick books look quite daunting.
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz
