| I'm not really liking UTW here either. I don't want to say that I dislike it, but... I don't favor it. I know it's asking for too much to have the guys who translated the visual novel to translate the anime, but that would just be so nice. Anyway, Saigusa Haruka. I think maybe I'm growing on her. In the visual novel, I thought of her as the "annoying girl" |

She has a very interesting route I'll give you that, She's the long route girl, kinda the Kyou equivalent of Little Busters |

| Lol is it safe to label this episode as part of harukas arc? Would that make harukas arc 4 episodes? Actually would it be possible to do her route in 3 episodes without it feeling rushed?.. i know that her route was the longest but perhaps most of it was filler? |

I learned to ignore them after I struggled to watch some of my favorite series animated with very poor budgets, like this or Total Eclipse. That way I also enjoy chuunibyou-level animation better. |
| About the spoilers: I guess the best would be make a thread for speculations based on VN content, just like was done in Animesuki forums. Anyway, liked the episode but those CG marbles really made me facepalm. As blubberflub said earlier, Baba hyped a lot this series and everyone was expecting royal treatment. For those used to KyoAni treatment for Key series, is really a letdown. |

| Maybe it's just me having shorter hours of sleep recently but I was bored with this episode and almost dozed off while watching the screen. At least the 5 cats were entertaining, even for a little bit. |

| Having seen 7 episodes this week I have to say it's quite good The rascal and head of discipline commitee do look a bit the ssame with the hair color I thought they were sisters Animation wise not even close to Kyoani nor PA Works it even looks like Air, but the characters are portrayed ok JC did a good job adapting a Key work. It's easy and fast to spot it the atmosphere The OP & ED animations are really done corny and bad. The music/background are great as always. The fights are hilarious. Episode 6 is probably the best so far with the reincarnated Fuuko/Ayu |

| Hmm, a nice introduction for Haruka and I reckon I'll end up liking her more than Komari. It looks like they're introducing the rest of the cast before delving into another arc so yeah that sounds nice, so I don't have to wait till the 4th arc or what not to finally get to know the rest of the characters. Got a side character Kanata also introduced this episode which I was initially confused about the future significance of her role, but thanks to careless me and untagged spoilers galore here...! Anyway, this was one of the better episodes in a while and as an introduction, it seemed there was some nice depth. |

| I'll be superoptimistic now and hope they're having "mediocre" staff and budget now, just to save up to a spectacular 2nd season. Atleast I can hope, lol. I can live with what we have already though, so it's not that big a problem. |

| It's okay to have some doubts about that because that might be a tease for those who played the VN. In fact, I bet they did that on purpose so that we can freely assume whether it actually happened or not. But I don't get it why are you trying to insist that it happened. Is it bad to reuse that scene because of budget issues or something? Like I said once again, I don't see the reason why they're going to do that. |

| Outta all the heroines I've seen so far in this anime, Haruka is now my favorite girl right after Rin. I love that playful/ fun personality of hers and she seems like she's actually really nice. She's also really cute, especially with the way she tries to hide behind her prankster personality. |

| Ah, first time I've been let down by the adaptation. A couple of ruined jokes... especially the one on Kengo. Oh man, the marbles scene was badly animated. Those CG marbles were painful to look at. The limited budget is starting to become more apparent. Well, at least I got to hear A Noisy Girl's Grief one more time... |

| Well, nice episode overall. Futaki reminds me of Shana in some way :) Still, I can't shake the feeling that every girl there is 5 years old.. Don't know if VN had the same seiyuu but show seems very infantile due to it. |

There are reasons for some issues with the voices. Some seiyuu had to act two or more roles. For example, the seiyuu of Rin also had to act Riki and Sasami. So in order for the voices not to sound too alike... some of them ended up sounding infantile or piercing. As for Characters like Komari and Kud, well, the voices match their appearance. I mean, you'd definitely be creeped out if those two would speak with the deep voice of a middle-aged woman, right? I sure as hell would... |

Though I guess Komari voice bothers me the most (but I liked her story on the other hand). With her story completed I guess it won't be such problem for me in coming eps :) Others are just fine and I will definitely get used to them with time. Edit after VN completition: I really like how they did common route animated with bits of romances already. Also, emphasis on friendship and staying toghether is most welcome addition, I like it how Riki is always going around with someone. |

| I just started to watch this anime again (ep 6 and 7) after dropping it at episode 5, because I was bored, but I am dropping it again. Why do most of the girls in this show have the mental development of five year olds? Is there something mentally wrong with them? Do they all have extremely delayed mental development or something? I can't handle these characters for any longer. |
| ^ lol I swear I saw the exact same comment somewhere else in this thread. I think it was you who said that before too. But yeah LB! (first season) is all about having the character's develop their friendship and having fun before they graduate, at least in the first season. So most of the characters will act like little children at times and embrace their youth while it still lasts. IMO only komari and kud may at times act like 5 yr olds but hey, its only for the sake of having fun. |
